Chapter 1254: Death Invitation

Who would have thought these Zombies had such keen senses…Ling Mo recalled Xiao Hei, feeling a bit surprised. He had thought he was careful enough, but still underestimated these bizarrely behaving Zombies. It seemed that before dealing with Chief of Staff Wang, they first had to handle these troubles.

This sound was the same as the one that had been following them! It was the Zombies scratching the walls and ground with their nails!

No wonder it was so piercing…Judging by the noise, at least a hundred Zombies were scratching at the same time.

“This way!” Fang Zhou, pale-faced, turned and shouted. He pointed to one of the quieter crossroads and rushed over first.

Ling Mo frowned, then followed.

Ling Mo frowned and said, “The sudden increase in noise always happens when we reach a fork in the road.”

“Maybe the Zombies are gathering at the crossroads to form an encirclement,” Yuwen Xuan guessed after thinking for a moment.

“Then why do they always leave a gap?” Ling Mo countered.

“Yeah!” Everyone fell silent.

If you said it was the Zombies’ oversight, that was impossible. When it came to hunting, these guys were experts. Even humans wouldn’t make such a Low-Level mistake, let alone these Zombies.

“So…they’re doing it on purpose?” Black Silk pouted.

Ling Mo glanced at everyone and nodded.

Yuwen Xuan and the others immediately felt a chill…

“Then…why are they doing this?” Fang Zhou nervously glanced around and asked in a low voice.

Ling Mo pondered for two seconds, then suddenly voiced a chilling conclusion: “They’re correcting our direction.”

“But why?” Fang Zhou asked.

“Whether Ling Mo is right or not, anyway, they’re all going to…” This time, not only Fang Zhou, but even Xu Shuhan shivered violently and stammered.

“What else?” Ling Mo retorted, “Instead of dragging this out, why not accept their invitation and go in openly? Who knows, maybe they want us to help them move out and get a new nest?”
