Chapter 1303: King of Merchants
Izroth understood what it was like to be in Vexpela’s shoes in wanting to take revenge with one’s own hands. Therefore, he would not press the matter.
’Some things cannot be left solely in the hands of others. In order for her to have a chance at finding peace, she must overcome this trial placed before her. Of course, I don’t plan on sitting back and doing nothing. I can help set the battlefield in her favor.’
"By the way, can you arrange it so that the delivery of the Transforming Rebirth’s Embrace is delayed by a few hours? My teacher would like to take some time examining it." Izroth brought up.
"Since the Transforming Rebirth’s Embrace is a special item, it’s not too difficult to add a few extra ’security measures’ that will add some time to its transfer of ownership. Of course, I am sure its new owner will not complain about any potential delays." Vexpela said with a sharp gaze.
"On that note, I will head back to settle a few matters before I begin examining that coffin. You can send someone to my private room when the arrangements have been made." Hyrell said as she began to head toward the private room’s exit.
After a few steps, she stopped and turned to Izroth.
"Ah, I almost let it slip my mind. When you finish everything that needs to be done, drop by the Formation Master Guild. Since I have cleaned up all the rats and your Ancient Spark has had some time to settle, we can begin our lesson." Hyrell stated as a small object materialized in her hand before she tossed it toward Izroth.
Izroth caught the item and looked down to see that it was a circular emblem with an unusual and complex pattern etched onto its smooth silver surface that resembled a magic formation.
"That is an Honorary Elder badge of the Formation Master Guild. You can use it as you see fit. If anyone dares to trouble you, feel free to deal with them as you see fit. I will handle any backlash and block any trouble. Although you are not my disciple, you are still my student. Those I decide to protect—no one is allowed to bully them." Hyrell said firmly.
"I will keep your words in mind. I look forward to our future lessons." Izroth responded as he placed the badge into his inventory.
He then stood to his feet and cupped his hand into his fist and said, "Travel safely, teacher."
After Izroth bid his farewell, Hyrell took her leave from the private room.
"I will leave to make the arrangements for Master Hyrell. The profit you’ve made this time is not small. As promised, since you have placed so many items up for auction, the Golden Treasure House will only take a 10% cut of the gold coins earned. As for the 10% handling fee you promised to pay based on the standard market price of the items that were not traded using gold coins, the Golden Treasure House will waive this fee. The 15,000,000 gold coins from the Kroma family, as well as the 5,000,000 gold coins taken out of the 50,000,000 gold coins from the Transforming Rebirth’s Embrace’s purchase, is more than enough. Of course, this will also cover Serva Stone Master Gillian’s 3% commission fee." Vexpela informed.
On average, Serva Stone Masters earned a few hundred gold coins a month. During events like the Golden Treasure Hunt, it was possible to get extremely lucky and earn a large commission. However, even that typically ranged around lower tens of thousands and only happened once every few years at best to one or two individuals.
But, with the Golden Treasure House’s cut being 20,000,000 gold coins, Gillian would earn a staggering 600,000 gold coins! Such an amount was more than the average Serva Stone Master would earn over the course of their entire lifetime!
"I’ll leave everything in your capable hands." Izroth said in a carefree manner.
"The gold coins should be settling into your account soon. As for the items, I will move them to your personal storage room with your other items. Then, I will excuse myself. If you need anything, do not hesitate to contact me through Griselle." Vexpela said as she bid her farewell and departed from the private room.
Not even a single breath after Vexpela left the private room, Izroth received a stream of alerts from the system.
〈System Alert: Your item(s) at the «Golden Treasure House: Auction» have been sold for 50,000,000 gold coins!〉
〈System Alert: Congratulations, you are the first player to earn 1,000,000 gold coins in a single transaction!〉

〈System Alert: You are the first player to earn a Divine-ranked title! A special reward is being generated...〉
〈System Alert: You can double the effectiveness of any title below the Divine-rank currently in your possession! Which title’s would you like to select?〉
As Izroth read over the system alerts, he was not surprised to have received a reward from the system after earning so much gold from one transaction. However, he did not expect to receive a Divine solitary title of all things as a reward!
Not only that, but thanks to being the first player to receive a Divine-ranked title, the system was even letting him double the effectiveness of an existing title!
’Double effectiveness... I can’t think of a better title to use it on than this one.’
〈System Alert: The effectiveness of the title «Gift of Divine Speed» has been doubled.〉
Title Name: Gift of Divine Speed(Solitary Pseudo-Divine -> Unique Pseudo-Divine)
Title Benefit(s):
-Immune to slow.
-Gain 100% -> 200% movement speed. Increased to 500% -> 1,000% when out of combat for 30 -> 15 seconds.
-Gain 100% -> 200% agility. Increased to 200% -> 400% for the first 1 minute -> 2 minutes of combat.
’With this, my base agility has increased to over 6,000 points. And, for the first two minutes of combat, even without Flickering Steps or other agility buff skills active, my agility will still exceed 10,000 points. On top of the additional movement speed, even without activating any buff skills, I doubt even someone with a rogue-type class that specializes in speed can compete with me easily. When I’m out of combat, there shouldn’t be any player currently capable of keeping up with me.’
