Chapter 4512: Tracing Their Path

“Impossible.” Davis shook his head, “Their names haven’t even come out yet. Otherwise, it would’ve made it to Mingzhi’s net. Since they have no renown, it’s possible they’re disguising themselves and using different names.”

“Their fake names could be famous. We should ask around.” Myria suggested.

“We will.”

“I see…” Evelynn nodded with a rough smile.

She hoped that they were safe. Those two had just barged in here without any help from them. Perhaps they wanted to prove themselves to their father or even her and the family. Regardless, what they did was foolish.

She didn’t agree with acting out alone, so she intended to punish them upon their discovery.

However, now that she was here, all she could do was worry.

The secret realm seemed more dangerous than they expected. The Shard Continent, in particular, was outright disastrous. None of them could break through and enter the Empyrean Stage since this entire Shard World suppressed them from making a breakthrough.

Hence, they were nothing but ants playing amongst giant monsters.

She felt like only Davis and Myria would compare to these giant monsters. Her son and daughter wouldn’t survive if they were in the Shard Continent.

“Don’t worry. They should be infamous considering that they’re poison cultivators. No one would go out of their way to deal with them.”

“True.” Evelynn smiled at Davis.

She cast him a grateful glance for comforting her.

Davis nodded and then led the group towards the east. They took the path Isabella and the others took, traversing through a prairie, forest, and then the mountains.

These three locations were in the same Shard Region, so this Shard Region could be said to have an overall elemental atmosphere of four or five elements. The prairie, forest, and then the mountains were all places where one of these elemental atmosphere were concentrated.

From this, it could be seen how big the Shard World was since they hadn’t even crossed a Shard Region yet after seeing so many things.

Their journey was going to last months for them to traverse Shard Region after Shard Region. In these lands, there was no other way to traverse other than on foot. They could fly, but not for long, as the energy consumption was heavy. They could not fly above more than a thousand kilometers. This restriction was unique to this Shard Region, so there were many other regions that they needed to be careful of.

They made their way through the carved mountain valley and reached the cave where the entrance to the Starry Ruins Shard Region was located.

Once they appeared in the Starry Ruins Shard Region, they saw the ruins of the Starry Empyreal Fury Spirit Clan.

Because they had heard from the stories sent through the letters, it was all the more surreal for them to see the broken structures of a spirit tribe and imagine their long history. Unfortunately, they couldn’t stay and enjoy the scenery since they had to catch up as soon as possible, so they left.

“The dense light energy here is somewhat better for me, increasing my strength a bit…” Lucian commented.

Although his Solar Apocalypse Physique was mostly fire attributed, it also contained yang and light attributes. Through the virtue of his physique, the elemental atmosphere of this land that was filled with light aided him in increasing his prowess.

“The spirits here are more powerful. Be careful.” Davis warned, “But as expected, we have not spotted a single resource. Almost everything is plundered, and there are no supreme geniuses here. We must move further.”

Evelynn and the others nodded.

“I wish I could’ve seen the light spirit tribe my mother and the others first visited…” Eterna pouted.

However, she didn’t complain and followed them.

They then passed through the Fallen Rakshasa Shard Region, traversing the dark land. They actually met a few darkness spirits here who were enraged because of humans. However, once they realized that they were the Greater One’s husband, they let them pass with smiling faces, leaving Davis and the others speechless.

It seemed like Isabella and the others had already shown them what they would look like and instructed them to show the highest respect to him.

The humans were also unable to do anything here other than head deeper into the other Shard Regions, since there were ten major darkness spirit tribes here that guarded the region.

After the Nefarious Darkwill Rakshasa was defeated, the powerful tribe elders were free to roam. Hence, they neutralized any supreme geniuses who came their way to plunder their tribe’s resources. They were also the first ones to gift Isabella and the others Primarch Grade resources. In one go, they had gained over fifteen darkness-attributed Early Stage Primarch Grade resources.

Davis had a good opinion of them, so he healed the elders who crippled themselves, once again giving them the chance to grow.

Some of these elders then followed them onto the next Shard Region. They essentially became nomads until they could find a place suitable for them, a darkness attributed Mid-Level Shard Region or even a High-Level Shard Region.

Davis invited them since there were a few darkness-attributed Mid-Level Shard Regions in their way.

For those who didn’t follow, Davis gave them all-purpose healing pills he made himself. It worked on most injuries, detoxifying poison, curing sickness, and could even regenerate broken meridians regardless of race. His life energy was overpowered in the sense that it was extremely pure and wasn’t restricted to certain or limited lifeforms.

Hence, the darkness spirits were able to heal from their crippled state.

If he didn’t brag, no one would know that his alchemical knowledge had increased to Mid-Level Empyrean Grade, but when it came to life-attribute medicinal pills, his knowledge was second only to Myria and Ellia.

Days passed.

They passed through many Shard Regions. It was as they expected. They didn’t encounter a single resource on the way. Nearly everything was plundered. However, their pace was fast thanks to Davis constantly radiating his aura. They nearly didn’t encounter anything other than Abhorrent Elementals, which were said to be the berserk remnant Will of dead spirits.

They are said to be strange lifeforms that are berserk in nature but do not possess a soul. It could be said to be the ravings of one or more dead spirits that manifested in the form of elemental nature. They could be as powerful as the spirits that died or even more, depending on the environment they are in.

The one they fought was an Abhorrent Fire Elemental, so he let Lucian deal with it.
