Chapter 4518: Blood Infusion
"..."
The Heavenshades watched the Divine Emperor of Death casually bestow his second daughter, King-Tier Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon’s blood essence. He had introduced them while they were traveling together to defeat Barakiel, so they knew about his children.
They imagined that it wouldn’t be much of a problem for the Divine Emperor of Death to defeat Barakiel.
However, they had made a grave mistake.
The Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon, Barakiel, had just been toying with them the whole time.
Even as they fought Barakiel as they surrounded him back then, they didn’t realize that he still kept his power suppressed at ten levels higher.
The dragon’s bloodline suppression was always special since it suppressed nearly all lifeforms. Regardless, since they possessed dragon blood, they would be subject to the greatest suppression. Hence, they thought they could defeat him as long as it wasn’t for the bloodline suppression.
However, it turned out that his true prowess was almost as much as twelve levels higher, something they could never defeat.
That was something only Riaz Heavenshade could defeat. After all, he had consumed the Realm Pill.
However, he was in one of the Shard Regions connecting to the Shard Continent, so they couldn’t contact him, nor would he help them.
Ralaza Heavenshade didn’t think much before she requested Davis’s help. It was not like she didn’t care about his status as an Anarchic Divergent, but to her, Davis was not evil. She had never seen him do evil, so she didn’t hesitate to ask for his help.
Therefore, when Barakiel revealed his true prowess and was about to unleash one of the most terrifying species’ techniques in the universe, she instantly felt bad and wanted to help him, even if it was just distracting Barakiel. However, Davis broke that technique with his sheer Will.
She didn’t know what to say. Defeating Barakiel with brute force? She could understand.
Defeating Barakiel with soul force? She could also understand that. No one came near the Divine Emperor of Death in terms of soul force. He had also considerably increased the prowess of his physical body after their battle in the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have survived the siege of the Venerable Knights, so she also understood that his body’s prowess was monstrous.
However, never did she think that he could break the Will of a Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon, much less a King-Tier one.
The very notion of it was incredulous.
’He... is he just a youth who is around forty years old...?’ Ralaza Heavenshade wondered if he was an old monster.
How come his Will was overpowered? That was not a human’s Will. She didn’t think those who had mastered Level Two Obscure Intent in Enigmatic Heart Laws were capable of reaching that kind of level. She had no choice but to chalk it up to his life and death soul physique. Otherwise, she felt like she would break.
Rath Heavenshade was also of a similar opinion.
Last time, he could still battle it out with Davis, but this time, it was doubtful if he could even take a single punch, even if he had consumed the Realm Pill.
Not only was it dejecting, but it was also despair-inducing.
It was as the Realm Masters warned them. They should not compare themselves to him, or their Law Hearts will be deeply hurt and break.
"As promised, that High-Level Primarch Grade resource is yours, but half of it belongs to me, so you will pay me back later on."
Davis walked over to them and pointed at the space-attribute resource.
"Don’t worry." Rath Heavenshade spoke up, "We will keep our word right now. Half of it is worth two or three Mid-Level Primarch Grade resources. We have two Mid-Level Primarch Grade resources and three Low-Level Primarch Grade resources of different attributes. Is that acceptable for a fair exchange?"
Davis thought for a moment before he nodded, "Sure, why not? Just don’t give me damaged ones."
"I don’t think anyone would dare scam you for fear of encumbering curses." Ralaza Heavenshade rolled her eyes.
"Sounds about right." Davis chuckled.
Rath Heavenshade looked at the two of them. He wanted to kowtow to his little sister for still being so nonchalant with the Divine Emperor of Death.
While Davis was transacting with the Heavenshades, Myria threw the Gold-Clawed Imperial Dragon into a top-tier Immortal Emperor Grade Cauldron that Sophie forged for them, its hardness enough to trap Early Empyrean Stage lifeforms.
It was a battle cauldron, which was difficult to use for alchemy but easier to use for defending and attacking as well as sealing. Combined with her powers, it allowed her to seal Barakiel easily.
"Release me!"
Barakiel woke up soon, thrashing inside with tumultuous roars echoing, but with a single thrust of Myria’s palm, he was crushed in the cauldron from a huge amount of spatial compression, his body spurting blood from the millions of wounds across his giant body.
The dragon’s blood filled the cauldron, which Myria started to gather into many drops of blood essence.
The aura of the blood spread across the area, causing the Heavenshades to twitch. There was another monster in his group who seemed like she could finish off the King-Tier Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon with her prowess.
Nonetheless, they had just finished transacting with Davis.
The Primarch Grade resources were plenty, but no one knew their actual usage other than being able to guess instinctively or through logic after seeing some pattern. After all, they had never seen so many Primarch Grade resources, and most of these treasures were sect knowledge that was considered secretive and exclusive.
The Astral Pill Upper Realm’s alchemists would be the most knowledgeable about Primarch Grade resources, but even they had no idea about most Primarch Grade resources since they were also just juniors.
Davis also didn’t know. None of them had any knowledge of Primarch Grade resources. He guessed Dalila could make near-accurate guesstimates, but without her here, he could only accept what he was given.
Unexpectedly, the secret realm was even more beneficial than expected because of the discovery of the High-Level Shard Regions and the Shard Continent. They were huge in size and contained a lot of Primarch Grade resources. He heard more and more supreme geniuses from the Greater Realm were on their way, dropping whatever adventure they had in mind to get here.
For now, accumulating Primarch Grade resources was the most important thing. As for what it was and how it could be used, it was not their prerogative since they couldn’t use it here anyway. They could only return from the secret realm, give it their power, research it, and then, if lucky, get rewarded extravagantly in terms of contribution points or have their resource returned for their personal use.
After some time, Myria finally gathered enough blood for the infusion while Barakiel was completely out of it, faint and exhausted.
He would not survive another blood extraction session.
For the first time in his life, he knew fear. He didn’t even know who he was dealing with for him to be utterly suppressed in this manner.
But suddenly, life energy came from nowhere, starting to heal him.
Barakiel was stunned, having no idea what was going on. He still couldn’t figure out that he was going to become a blood slave who would continue to supply blood.
Davis grinned from above the lid of the cauldron while Myria appeared before Celestia.
She instructed Celestia on a few matters and then fed her an ice-attributed pill that they kept for Lucian. After all, all dragon blood was quite aphrodisiac in nature due to the powerful yang in their blood. If it activated the body’s hormones, then Celestia would be thirsting for a man.
Thus, they decided to absolutely cool her first with the ice-attributed pill meant for Lucian.
Then, they had further methods to deal with it in case something happened.
After taking solid measures, both Davis and Myria sat behind Celestia in a palace and helped her suppress the blood essence’s Will upon infusion.
*Booom!~*
Tremendous undulations exploded out as the aura of a King-Tier Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon erupted.
The Heavenshades watched this from afar.
It would be a lie if they said that they want it. They desired it. They craved it. Their blood was trembling at the mere prospect of obtaining its blood.
How could they not want it?
However, they knew to keep their mouth shut.
