Davis’s mind was in slight turmoil, but after some time, he managed to fall asleep without much trouble.

He woke up two hours later and saw that no one was around. As for his security, there was Nadia inside him, so he didn’t worry.

Just as he sat up, a voice echoed inside his head.

"Master, if your soul feels encumbered, wouldn’t it be better if I aid in supporting your soul using mine?"

"It wouldn’t work." Davis quickly shot her idea down, "I agree you would be able to form a few pillars to support my soul. Our souls are also compatible. However, it isn’t enough since it’s Primarch Grade we’re talking about."

Instantly, the wooden house was filled with an intoxicating raw scent that made Nadia nearly drool. Her ears twitched in anticipation, causing her to follow Davis and look at his skills.

First, he sliced a prime section of the meat and began stir-frying it over intense ordinary flames, letting the natural essence of the dragon meat fuse with a mix of rare spices that heightened its latent vitality. The sizzling sound echoed like paradise, sending waves of hunger through Nadia, who had perched nearby, practically bouncing on her feet.

Then, he turned to another slab, slow-smoking it with a blend of the parasol wood that was stored in the kitchen. It could be seen that Shirley and the others also enjoyed cooking. Soon, the fragrant smoke curled around the meat, imbuing it with a subtle complexity that only time and patience could achieve.

Lastly, he took thin slices of the most tender parts and wrapped them carefully with crisp, high-grade vegetables that he took from his garden in his life ring, their natural essence harmonizing with the dragon meat’s profound vitality.

Each wrap gleamed with a sheen of energy, like a jewel of strength waiting to be devoured.

He barely placed them on a giant plate and brought it over to the table, placing it neatly.

At that moment, Nadia transformed.

A black-crimson light flashed, and a night-crimson-robed woman sat on the chair with a faint golden luster in her eyes. Her looks were majestic and exquisite, accentuated by the crimson-purple hair that shone like a blood moon with a melancholic aura.

Davis was momentarily taken aback as it had really a long time since Nadia showed him this form. She didn’t choose to appear as human since it would only increase his ’appetite’, but now, she had taken a human form like a crimson moon goddess of death.

Her terrific beauty aside, she was a glutton through and through.

She was still drooling while her eyes shone with a devouring luster, making Davis chuckle before he gestured for her to dig in.

"Mhm~ Yummy~"

Nadia’s lips moved as she ate with relish.

"I’m glad you like it."

Davis watched for a while before he returned to the kitchen. He made more portions since he was already cooking and even diversified the dishes by adding a few more variety of beasts such as the Wraith Stream Longfish whose meat was practically soft and heavenly that one wouldn’t know that it even entered one’s mouth and the Raging Bull Lobster whose meat was juicy and innately spicy, making for a contrasting dish since the former was sweet.

Nadia sat in her seat, shaking her body left and right like a child as she waited.

"Hoho~ What’s this? I smell something good?"

Shirley’s voice echoed as she pushed open the door and entered, her eyes searching for Davis.

Soon, the beauties returned, and Davis made them sit and served, making them quite fidgety. His wives aside, who felt honored, the others didn’t know if they should feel honored or be scared.

For Dewzai, it felt like he was serving them the last supper, but obviously, looking at how excited everyone was, she knew that it wasn’t the case.

Davis also joined at the end, making for a prime feast.

Tia, Isabella, and Shirley were full of praise for him, and Davis especially had Nadia’s doppelganger deliver a few portions to Myria and Freya.

Flamerose and Frostrose also praised, during which time their gazes were awkward.

Davis could only exchange a profound glance at them. Even though there were a few things weighing on his mind, he didn’t mind or make any mention of the incident a while ago. He wanted peace and to see the smiling faces of his wives while he immersed himself in their melodious laughter.

Naturally, Dewzai was shocked at the King-Tier Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon being served like a platter.

Even if they had the power to hunt one, would they dare? It risked offending a big power behind it.

She inwardly shook her head, feeling like the Divine Emperor of Death would be the only one brave enough to do something like that. If things went awry, then it could even light up the flames of war between the two galaxies!
