The Sky Word Emperor's last runic attack, filled with Heart Intent, wasn't easy to defend against, despite how he grinned as though he had won easily. It had shattered a bit of his soul essence and injured his soul sea, making him feel like his head was burning.

He felt that it was amazing that the Sky Word Emperor only had a bit of time, yet quickly came up with a method to harm him and seal him. It wasn't like he underestimated the Sky Word Emperor either, so he still managed to be awed.

Due to his overbearing energy, the motes were quickly refined into desolate heavenly spacetime wisps, still leaving him time until the third wave descends.

Lucian watched his father steal heavenly factors from the tribulation clouds with a dumbfounded expression.

Davis finally had some luxury to look down and ask, as he was over with his refinement, leaving him five seconds until the third wave.

"Exquisite, father. If we weren't in this place, I would want to stay here for a year."

"Haha! Good. This experience is also good for you, as you wouldn't even feel a bit of pressure in your next tribulation."

"I guess so…?" Lucian was unsure.

After all, the pure and awarding Heavenly Water Tribulation flooded his senses with warmth and nurturing, partly canceling out this tribulation's frightening aura.

"Master," Illumina's voice echoed, "I sense multiple surges of power in the distance. I imagine that they aren't sparing anything and burning their blood essence to reach you quickly. I'll go intercept them."

"Zero, but I can hold them for long with my species techniques." Illumina confidently said.

"…" Davis was speechless but nodded, knowing that an Alpha Exalt would have trouble dealing with an Omega Exalt at the same level due to the difference in the comprehension of Laws.

A giant humanoid figure who looked like an absolute deity descended with twelve wings. He possessed a long spear, its tip wreathed in desolate heavenly factors, while his smoldering negative-white eyes locked onto Davis.

When he descended, spacetime engulfed the skies and completely separated the view from below, only leaving Nadia and Lucian within the Heavenly Water Tribulation. The two of them were shocked and finally felt their hearts leap into their throat from the pure pressure descending on them from the Desolate Heavenly Tribulation.

'No way… a Twelve-Winged Seraphim!?' Lucian's pupils trembled in shock.
