Chapter 4963  Members Of The Loret Family

"This was really a perfect time to gather because your imperial decree forced nearly everyone out of their seclusion, so I thought it would be good to gather together like old times and have a banquet."

"Are you blaming me or praising me, father?"

"Haha! Both!"

Logan laughed out, causing Davis to smilingly shake his head.

After trying his hands on the dishes in front of him, he panned his gaze around the dining tables.

Although the shape was that of a circle, the seating arrangement was that of a typical hierarchical royal family, unlike his own, where everyone dined together on a single huge table.

In the first table to the north, Nora, Logan, and Claire were present, with Logan occupying the center until Davis arrived.

Then two tables further down, aligned left and right, hosted the children, and to the south, the other wives sat together.

From the left in Davis's perspective sat: First brother Ernest, second brother Dante Jubal, third brother Achiren Jubal, first sister Kirsten Hymnal, fourth brother Markus, second sister Joan Ave, and finally third sister Timi Yael.

It extended to the right, whereupon it continued the sibling line. Sitting opposite Timi Yael were sixth brother Edward, his two wives, Jaslyn and Aiz, and his fiancée, Rina Roxley. Following them were fifth sister Diana and her husband, Wayn Nolan, seventh brother Evan Loret, sixth sister Laura Loret, and the youngest, seventh sister Alice Loret.

Naturally, Davis was the fifth brother.

To the south, continuing from Timi Yael, sat: Second mother Violet, third mother Tyra Jubal, fourth mother Brunhilde Hymnal, fifth mother Minerva, sixth mother Cherry Ave, and seventh mother Raifa Yael.

It goes without saying that the eighth mother was none other than Nora Alstreim, who sat beside Logan, enjoying the same status as Claire did by the looks of it. They seemed to be quite happy, and Claire and Nora were as close as sworn sisters, so Davis didn't mind it as well.

On the surface, although Logan was no longer considered a part of the Loret Family since Logan and his wives had excluded themselves from gaining unfair power or influencing the decisions of other families due to their relationship with him, this was the current members of the Loret Family line under Logan.

They were publicly content with the power and position they had now. In fact, no power was daring enough to proclaim itself a Kingdom as Davis remained the undisputed Emperor of the Davis Family.

Davis kept the cup down and leaned back, smiling contentedly.

"Good. All of you, my siblings, are above the Immortal Stage. I shall not expect any less from you other than to increase your cultivation reasonably with the resources we have, remain healthy, and unified."

"Are you not going to get married, Ernest?"

Davis smirked, "You should learn from Edward. Look at him getting his third wife and looking all innocent."

"Brother…!" Edward raised his voice embarrassingly, "Surely, I cannot compare to you."

"No one can compare to me."

Davis extended his cup again with a wink, making others speechless before they laughed lightly. He turned to look at Rina.

"Hey, sister-in-law, I heard you two met in a restaurant. Mind telling me about your love story?"

Rina Roxley folded her hands and made a smug expression instead of getting embarrassed, "Brother-in-law, you sure are chatty today. I'll tell my elder sister that you've had too much time to spend to not go see her."

Davis coughed before he kept his cup down and extended his hand, "Sister-in-law, spare me, please. I'm already at risk of being tried under the family law for abandonment. I cannot handle such a huge accusation at this moment."

"Hehe~"

Rina Roxley looked satisfied.

She lifted her cup lightly, taking a sip before setting it down, her expression turning thoughtful as the attention of the table settled on her. She really had no anxiety at all, seemingly completely in control of her thoughts.

She was vastly different than what Davis had seen back then when she was a lovely and sassy little sister. He could tell she had an aura similar to what a merchant would have.

"Well… it's not really a grand story like the ones you might hear in legends,"

Rina Roxley began with a faint smile, "It actually started in a rather ordinary way."

She gently clasped her hands together, her amethyst eyes vividly beautiful like Tina's.
