Chapter 5363: Mixing The Bloodlines
Davis had sat crossed-legged in mid-air, beginning his cultivation for some reason as chaos energy began to swell from him.
"...?" Azariel was confused.
Where was the resource to create the avatar?
He turned to look at Fairy Glacia Frigidveil for some guidance, but her eyes only relayed a calm and warm encouragement. However, that didn’t give him any reassurance, causing him to turn his eyes towards his father and ask.
"What are you doing?"
He had a bad feeling about this process.
Davis circulated his cultivation base, particularly his Grand Chaos Body Art.
There was something he had realized while treating Fairy Qiyra’s physique with the astral essence from Lydia’s link with the Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation. It was that he could also share essence of his own Will, and the Grand Chaos Body Art particularly made it possible because of how it was cultivated in the dantian.
Back then, the Law Trees of the fire seed and wind seed dropped a few fruits into the endless void of the Chaotic Genesis Physique, which were absorbed by the chaos seed, which then caused the chaos seed to produce new vines, connecting the fire seed and wind seed to form an inferno seed of the Inferno Laws. He had created Supreme Law seeds with it in his Chaotic Genesis Physique.
He learned that once the trees matured, they drop fruits of harvest, which he might even be able to share like a tree himself.
However, he doubted he could share the fruit since it was only a Law Manifestation of the essence, but the seeds he created from these essences could be pulled apart from him and turned into a real resource!
Following the same logic, he knew the chaos seed could also be shared.
But the problem was that it never turned into a tree, much less produce fruits for another seed to bear. It had always nurtured the other seeds and allowed them to be cultivated into trees and bear fruit. It was the foundation, so it couldn’t be shaken, absolutely never, or it would result in severe flaws or even leave him bedridden, as Fairy Qiyra recently experienced. However, he realized something lately since he had changed the Grand Chaos Body Art for good when he incorporated a destruction seed into it a few years ago.
The equilibrium let him extract both essences at once without letting his physique collapse! The two extremes kept the physique stable!
Davis reached out his hands, strange-looking essence gathering within his palms, one as dense and heavy as a mountain and the other frighteningly light but causing utter devastation. One was the grayish-silver chaos essence and the other purple-black destruction essence. These essences continued to surge as he gritted his teeth, extracting the essence he had cultivated within his chaos seed and destruction seed as he began to circulate in reverse.
The thick grayish-silver paste formed within his left hand, while in his other hand, the light purple-black ball of storm was gradually taking shape. The two essences caused his cultivation to throb, but instead of increasing, it seemed to be decreasing.
His Level Seven Empyrean Stage Cultivation was dropping, leaving the wide-eyed Azariel even more uncomfortable as he could see what his father was trying to do.
However, he couldn’t believe it.
What was the point of this? His father should know he wouldn’t accept such a resource, whether it be for ethical reasons or other reasons, so why was he hurting himself for it? Was this why he didn’t say it beforehand so he couldn’t refuse?
More than anything, how could he use his father’s cultivation as the base for creating an avatar? Would that even work in the first place?
He had so many questions yet couldn’t voice them; his words stuck in his throat as he understood what his father had to give up to make this possible. It was really hard to refuse after he had already done this.
Soon, Davis finished the reverse circulation and extracted chaos essence and destruction essence from his cultivation. He forced down the blood that rose to his throat and smiled confidently as his cultivation dropped to Level Six Empyrean Stage.
It was a mere level, but it was the divide between the Mid Empyrean Stage and the High Empyrean Stage.
"Father, how is it possible that these essences will work as a foundation for creating an avatar?"
Azariel started calmly and logically.
Davis was honestly exhausted and felt his mind spin, but he chuckled lightly.
"Did you seriously think humans aren’t a resource for creating avatars? If someone has an immaculate type physique like the Pure Yang or Pure Yin physiques, then they are just the right resource for making an avatar for the ancient immortal cultivation methods."
"As for this in my left hand, this belongs to you. It’s a chaos essence seed extracted from my Chaotic Genesis Physique and is of pure chaos nature. It is more than enough for you to create an avatar at the High-Level Empyrean Stage, and will also help you suppress the Will of the Emperor-Tier Nine-Headed Hydra Bloodline."
"Father, it’s from your cultivation." Azariel calmly reminded, "Won’t I become a Divergent, making it meaningless for you to send me to the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm?"
Davis shook his head slowly, "The World Master learned from their original mistakes. That person made the Grand Chaos Body Art a non-Divergent cultivation manual, and I adhered to its rules and guidance, extending upon it stage after stage. You won’t turn into a Divergent, so don’t worry, my son."
Azariel clenched his teeth, "I mean-"
Ignoring Azariel, Davis turned to look at the Frostcloud Sword Empress.
"Fairy Glacia, stab his avatar."
"Hey, wait- oomph!"
Davis slapped the chaos essence into Azariel’s mouth after he disappeared and reappeared.
"Father!" Azariel raged as he saw his avatar being fed the chaos essence as though it was a pill.
Fairy Glacia also moved like flowing water, nearing Azariel’s avatar and stabbing his heart from the back as the gourd sword pumped the hydra bloodline.
"Grghhahhh!"
Azariel clenched his chest.
"You shouldn’t be scared. Don’t miss this opportunity your father gave you." Fairy Glacia advised.
But it was unknown if the avatar heard it as he swayed and wobbled, trying to keep his feet on the ground, and then he stopped when the essence all suddenly surged. His soul avatar took the chaos essence and was trying to construct a body from it, making immense pain wrack his soul. At the same time, the hydra bloodline that was injected into him caused the body that was forming to rapidly undergo many changes, causing the bloodlines of the three magical beasts to clash!
While the avatar was suffering from the transformation, Azariel’s true body also felt his soul throb in pain.
"Damn it. I’ll deal with you later!" He roared and kept his eyes wide open, reaching out his hands to control the transformation as much as he could with his own strength and Will.
His avatar continuously changed as bones formed and flesh sprouted. His shoulders broadened, his spine lengthened, and his neck began to split, nearly forming as many as three necks already. His lower body seemed to grow thicker.
The newly created flesh began to undergo ruthless transformations that seemed to put him on the verge of transforming into a Savage Beast.
However, Azariel continued to grit his teeth, intending to overcome this ordeal through sheer Willpower and the aid he had been given by his father.
It was at this moment that Davis administered the vial containing the tiny amount of Abyssal Hydra Bloodfruit Essence into Azariel’s avatar.
The avatar’s body, which was constantly changing and becoming more monstrous, seemingly melted off from the body and began creating anew once more, as though the regeneration of his body was finally able to keep up with the rate of transformation.
"Yiarghh!!!"
Azariel’s screams echoed like he was being butchered alive.
Davis felt a trace of worry, but fortunately, it was the avatar that was suffering and not Azariel’s true body.
While the avatar flailed in the skies, creating a tumultuous atmosphere of darkness and storm, the entire world looked like it had been pulled into some kind of Minor Dimension. Nine hydra heads also manifested behind Azariel, their forms as big as Stella’s tree form. However, they didn’t seem quite intimidating, but even welcoming of Azariel, as they seemed to like his blood and find it compatible, which made Davis worried a bit more.
Then again, Davis didn’t regret his decision at all.
He could sense his chaos essence inside Azariel wasn’t even consumed by ten percent.
Azariel had quite some way to go.
But right now, the most important thing was that Azariel managed to subdue the Nine-Headed Hydra Bloodline, and the rest would fall into place like matching pieces in a block of puzzle. It was unknown if it would mix with what the soul already knows, the dragon-arachnid bloodline, but there were already plenty of cases available when it came to dragon-hydra bloodlines known as Hydragons.
In this case, if the dragon bloodline could split off from the arachnid bloodline since they were all forming at the same time, and then latch onto the hydra bloodline, then this avatar would truly have a fleshly body and soul that has the fused bloodline of three magical beasts!
