Chapter 2358 Deprived Crimson Valley
As Yuan looked around, his gaze was met with a vast sea of crimson grass, its color disturbingly similar to dried blood. In the distance stood half-collapsed mountains, their jagged remains looming like silent witnesses to an ancient catastrophe.
The spiritual energy in the area was abundant and richer than anything he'd experienced in the Nine Heavens.
Yuan assumed he had arrived somewhere within the Nine Heavens, but his thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a sensation that made his brows knit tightly together.
It was an overwhelming foul smell—a stench so powerful that he was startled he hadn't noticed it sooner.
"Fuck!" Yuan cursed aloud, instinctively pinching his nose.
The smell was so bad that Yuan felt like he had fallen into an ocean of decomposing bodies.
Although he was shaken for a moment, Yuan quickly composed himself, and that's when he realized something.
"This smell… It's the same as that place… Did I—"
Yuan's thoughts were interrupted once again when several powerful presences suddenly emerged in the vicinity, surrounding him from every direction.
The presences were unmistakably those of God Ascension cultivators, but the killing intent radiating from them was wild and unrestrained—like rabid beasts that had not fed in ages.
"Food! It's food!"
"Hahaha! I can't believe there's food so deep in the Deprived Crimson Valley!" "And it's a lowly first-level False God!" Mere seconds after revealing their presence, three figures appeared before Yuan. Though they bore humanoid forms, they were anything but human—and Yuan recognized them instantly.
Crimson skin. Horns that protruded from their heads. And that unmistakable, foul stench they carried.
They were demons.
Not only were they demons, but they were all between the second and third level of God Ascension.
Despite facing three powerful demons, all with superior cultivation bases, Yuan remained calm, even speaking to them, "Did you just say the Deprived Crimson Valley?"
Instead of answering his question, they merely mocked him.
"You don't know where you are? Hahaha!"
"This idiot is so lost!"
Suddenly, a terrifying aura exploded from Yuan, but it was neither spiritual energy nor Celestial Qi.
Instead, overwhelming Demon Sealing Aura surged outward, descending upon the three demons like a crushing tidal wave.
The demons' movements froze in an instant, and a look of terror quickly washed over their faces. "T-This power!"
"This bastard is an Executioner!" "So what?! Not only is his cultivation weaker than ours, but there's only one of him against three of us!" After a brief moment of shock, the demons snapped out of their daze. Roaring in unison, they unleashed their own power and swiftly shattered the restraints binding them.
"Oh?" Yuan muttered with a somewhat surprised look.
Normally, Lower Demons like these crimson-skinned demons would not be able to resist his Demon Sealing Aura, regardless of their cultivation. Yet, they were able to do just that.
"Kill him before he tries anything else!" The demons quickly pounced toward Yuan simultaneously.
Seeing this, Yuan merely shook his head and muttered, "Demon Sealing Zone."
A small golden barrier suddenly materialized around Yuan, trapping the demons before they could even realize what had happened.
"I can't move my body!"
"What kind of technique is this?! I have never heard of anything like this before!" "What's happening to my body?! It feels like it's stiffening!"
"Y-Your body! It's turning into stone!"
"What?!"
"T-This can't be! He's not an Executioner, but a Sealer!"
"A Sealer?! That's impossible! They should no longer exist!"
"How else is he turning our bodies into stone?! This phenomenon only happens when a demon is being sealed!" Yuan observed their noisy outburst with mild amusement. Despite being demons, they lacked the mindless madness of the Lower Demons he had faced in the past.
"Hey!" One of the demons suddenly called out to Yuan. "Who the hell are you?! Are you really a Sealer?!"
"I will be the only one asking the questions here," Yuan calmly replied. "Now, answer my question. Is this place the Deprived Crimson Valley? If the next words that come out of your mouths don't answer my question, I'll completely seal you."
"..."
After a moment of silence, one of the demons responded, "That's right. This is the Deprived Crimson Valley—the Fourth Valley, to be exact."
Hearing this, Yuan rubbed his eyes and released a deep sigh.
Deprived Crimson Valley. Although he'd never visited this place, he had heard of its name before, so he knew where he'd been teleported.
However, there was one major problem.
The Deprived Crimson Valley did not exist within the Nine Heavens.
"There's no way…"
The foul stench thick in the air, the crimson expanse of the Deprived Crimson Valley, and the unusual Lower Demons before him left little room for doubt.
"Son of a bitch… How did I get teleported to the Demonic Realm?" Yuan sighed out loud.
Even though he didn't want to believe it, he couldn't ignore all of the evidence before him.
He had somehow entered the Demonic Realm… a forbidden domain that the Divine Paragon had personally sealed long ago.
With the entrance to the Demonic Realm sealed, there should have been no way for anyone to enter.
And yet, he had somehow done so. Through his own world, no less.
Of course, there was a chance that the seal had been undone. However, if that were the case, he would've been able to sense it, as the seal was directly connected to his soul. Though the mystery of his arrival weighed heavily on his mind, Yuan couldn't afford to contemplate it, as he had more pressing issues at hand.
He turned to look at the demons and asked, "You just said that Sealers no longer exist. Why did you say that?"
"Why? Isn't it obvious? They were all annihilated!"
"Seriously. Where did an ignorant bumpkin like you come from—" The demon hadn't even finished speaking when his body suddenly stiffened, then solidified into stone in an instant.
The other two demons stared at the sealed demon, their faces filled with horror.
