Chapter 2360 The Demonic Realm(2)

Chapter 2360  The Demonic Realm(2)

"I don't know why you wish to meet Supreme Ruler Dena," the demon said, "but I strongly advise you against it."

Hearing a demon caution him about danger left Yuan momentarily speechless. He was not accustomed to such conversations with their kind, even with the Divine Paragon's memories.

"I appreciate your concern, but I need to meet her," Yuan calmly said.

The demon sighed before responding, "Alright, I'll tell you. But can you remove my restrictions? I cannot answer you even if I want to in my current state."

Without a word, Yuan removed the restraints on him.

The demon did a quick arm stretch before pointing south.

"If you travel in that direction, you will eventually arrive at the Final Valley."

"How far is it from here?" Yuan asked.

He knew the Deprived Crimson Valley was vast, but having never visited it—or paid much attention to it in his past life—he had no true understanding of just how immense it was.

"Well, I have never gone further than the Fifth Valley, so I cannot really say. However, just going from the Fourth Valley to the Fifth Valley will take you at least several years."

"Several years?!" Yuan exclaimed in shock.

After the initial shock subsided, Yuan suddenly recalled a crucial detail about the Demonic Realm.

'Oh, right… Just like the Primal Expanse, the flow of time here differs from that of the Nine Heavens.'

In fact, time in the Demonic Realm moved far faster than in the Nine Heavens—and even the accelerated flow within the Primal Expanse paled in comparison.

'What was it again? A year in this world is only a day in the Nine Heavens?' Yuan searched Tian Chenyu's memories to find this information.

If the disparity in time was truly this great, Yuan no longer felt concerned about spending several years in this place.

"How many valleys are there in the Deprived Crimson Valley?" Yuan asked.

"Ten in total," the demon replied. "The first nine are known as the First Valley through the Ninth Valley. The Final Valley lies at the very heart of this land."

"I see. Thank you for the information," Yuan said calmly as he began walking south.

"W-Wait!" the demon called out in a hesitant voice, pointing at the petrified figures. "What about them? Are you really going to leave them like that forever? This is my first time witnessing it, but according to legend, once a demon is sealed, they remain conscious—trapped in that state for eternity."

"That's correct." Yuan said indifferently." They're essentially buried alive for the remainder of their immortal lives. However, I didn't permanently seal them, so they'll return to normal after a few years."

"Is that so… Thank you for sparing us…"

"..."

Yuan stared at the demon for a moment before asking, "Hey, want to come with me?"

"Excuse me?" The demon's eyes widened at Yuan's abrupt question.

"I still have a lot of questions about this place, and it'd be nice to have someone to talk to while I travel to the Final Valley."

"Y-You might have a death wish, but I don't want to die yet! I still need to avenge my family!" The demon hastily refused, even though he might offend Yuan and risk being sealed.

"I can promise you that nothing will happen to you," Yuan calmly said, trying to persuade him.

"Also, how do you plan on taking revenge when you're stuck in this place for the rest of your life?"

"T-That's…" The demon fell silent.

Once a demon is exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley, leaving is virtually impossible. Those cast here are condemned to remain for the rest of their lives. Yet with lifespans that border on eternity, their only true release is death.

In that sense, they were not so different from Yu Ning and Ji Ran, who were once trapped within the Shadow Realm, fated to wither away in isolation or consumed by other souls.

"It's not completely impossible to leave this place," the demon said, a flicker of hope in his eyes. "I've heard that some exiles have managed to regain their freedom before."

Yuan chuckled softly. "Perhaps a few fortunate ones were freed under special circumstances. But do you truly believe such luck will fall upon you?"

"..."

The demon fell silent.

After a brief pause, Yuan added, "Follow me. Keep me entertained, and I'll help you leave this place."

The demon swallowed nervously at Yuan's tempting offer.

"How will you free me?" he asked.

However, the demon's jaw dropped when Yuan shrugged his shoulders and replied, "I have no idea right now, but I'll figure a way. I promise."

"Seriously…?" The demon sighed out loud.

Despite Yuan's lousy response, the demon could not ignore the unwavering confidence in his voice. More than that, there was something about Yuan—an indescribable presence—that made him seem strangely trustworthy.

Without waiting for a reply, Yuan turned around and began walking away.

"If you don't wish to follow me, then don't," he said over his shoulder. "I won't force you. You're free to remain here for the rest of your life—clinging to a revenge that will never come."

When the demon heard such words, he felt something snap inside his head.

Then, without even realizing it, he started moving toward Yuan.

"I… I will come with you!" he declared.

"What's your name?" Yuan then asked. "I'm Yuan."

"You can just call me Lev."

"Let's go, Lev. Try not to fall behind."

Yuan suddenly leaped into the sky. In the next instant, beautiful flames erupted around him, forming a pair of fiery wings on his back as he shot forward like a flaming meteor.

"What the heck?!" Lev exclaimed, stunned by Yuan's movement technique.

But when he saw how quickly Yuan was vanishing into the horizon, he swallowed his shock and hurriedly gave chase.

Meanwhile, somewhere within the Ninth Heaven, those connected to Yuan—such as Feng Yuxiang and Xiao Hua—suddenly felt their bond with him severed.

"This feeling... Young Master?!"

"Yuan?!"

The moment their connection with Yuan was severed, Feng Yuxiang, Xiao Hua, and Lan Yingying immediately halted whatever they were doing.
