Chapter 2439 Entering Death Paradise

Chapter 2439 Entering Death Paradise

'He'll think about it?! That's insane!'

Everyone there turned to look at Yuan with wide eyes, clearly in disbelief by his response.

If someone as powerful as Supreme Ruler Dena offered to be their servant, they'd accept in a heartbeat. Yet, for some reason, Yuan did not do such a thing, even saying he'd only consider it.

However, due to personal reasons, none of them said anything.

Supreme Ruler Grant didn't want Yuan to become even more ridiculous with Supreme Ruler Dena at his beckoning, while Lev wanted to enjoy being Yuan's only servant for a little longer, Moreover, he'd immediately be outranked by her.

"Fine…" Supreme Ruler Dena responded in a somewhat disappointed tone.

"Anyway, let's talk about how we're going to find Supreme Ruler Umbra before we enter Death Paradise," Yuan then said.

"Don't look at me because I have never been to Death Paradise," Supreme Ruler Grant said.

Supreme Ruler Dena then spoke, "I have briefly visited Death Paradise several times out of curiosity, but I have not once encountered a single individual during my visits. I have met Supreme Ruler Umbra a few times, but it was always at the tripoint like Supreme Ruler Grant."

"You've not met a single individual? Just how small is their population?" Yuan remarked with a pondering expression.

Gutou then spoke, "This is just a rumor, but I've heard that it's likely there are fewer than a hundred people living in Death Paradise."

"If we consider their environment, it's not surprising they have so few people," Lev said.

"So what should we do? Wander Death Paradise until we hopefully encounter someone?" he then asked.

"That could take forever," Supreme Ruler Grant said. "And we don't have unlimited time in that place."

Yuan pondered for a moment before retrieving a certain scale from his spatial ring and speaking into it.

"Hey, you got some free time?"

Not even three seconds later, a familiar figure emerged from the sea surface to greet him.

"Have you already got someone you want me to kill?" Primal Sovereign of the Seas asked after answering Yuan's summoning.

"Nope," Yuan immediately shook his head. "I was just wondering if you can find someone for me. I'm looking for the Supreme Ruler of Death Paradise."

"..."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas stared at Yuan with a dumbfounded face for a moment before responding, "Do I look like a freaking search dog to you?!"

Yuan silently shrugged, not willing to respond to his question.

"I gave you that scale so you could give me a target, not so you could summon me on a whim and order me around like a servant…" the Primal Sovereign of the Seas sighed. Despite its irritable tone, it wasn't truly enraged.

Yuan then said, "If you do me this favor, I'll give you some of my blood."

"?!"

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas' body visibly stiffened at Yuan's words.

"Your blood…?" It muttered in a low voice, unable to hide the smile that was slowly creeping onto its round face.

When the Primal Sovereign of the Seas realized it was smiling, it quickly adjusted its expression to become nonchalant and spoke, "I have just scanned the entire sea within Death Paradise, but I was unable to find the individual you're looking for. After all, I can only sense what's within or touching my water. Even if they're an inch away from the surface of the sea, I won't be able to sense them."

After a brief pause, it continued, "With that being said, I was able to sense someone. This individual appears to be cultivating on a pond six million, nine thousand, and fifty miles north of here."

"That's good enough," Yuan said as he drew out three drops of his blood and offered them to the Primal Sovereign of the Seas.

"That's it? Three measly drops? Do you not see how magnificently vast this majesty is? How could I possibly be satisfied with so little?" The Primal Sovereign of the Seas shook its head.

"If you expect me to give you blood in proportion to your size, you might as well devour me whole," Yuan sighed. "Three drops. Take it or leave it."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas snickered before somewhat begrudgingly accepting Yuan's stingy offer.

Of course, it wasted no time and immediately consumed all three drops of blood at once.

"Th-This taste is…!" The Primal Sovereign of the Seas trembled, its eyes widening in shock and disbelief. Then, its massive body collapsed into the sea.

Moments later, it resurfaced while shouting, "How magnificent! Utterly sublime! I have never savored anything so exquisite in all my existence!"

It fixed Yuan with a ravenous gaze and muttered, "I can't help but wonder how much better it would taste if you'd given me several more drops…"

Yuan shook his head, then revealed a detail that left the Primal Sovereign of the Seas utterly speechless and deeply regretful.

"The taste won't change even if I gave you a mouthful. In fact, a single drop would have given you the same experience, so you basically wasted two, as you could've stretched them into three separate meals."

"No way!!!" The Primal Sovereign of the Seas screamed in agony as it toppled back into the water, sending massive tsunamis surging in all directions.

A moment later, its eyes slowly peeked out of the water as it mumbled, "Would you be so kind as to give me two more—no… just another drop of blood?"

Yuan smiled inwardly after seeing the Primal Sovereign of the Seas getting addicted to his blood, as he could use this to his advantage in the future.

"Sorry, but I'm tired now. Maybe later," he said, pretending to look exhausted.

"..."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas instantly realized what Yuan was doing and sighed, "Fine. If you ever need my help again, don't hesitate to contact me. However, besides that one favor I owe you, I won't become your personal assassin, so don't even consider it."

"I'll keep that in mind," Yuan replied with a smile.

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas didn't say anything else and silently disappeared into the crimson sea again.

Some time later, Yuan and the others entered Death Paradise, following the Primal Sovereign of the Seas' direction to the unknown individual it sensed.
