Chapter 2463 Dethroning Qian Chu

Selena calmly gazed at Owen, who was treated like some kind of testing dummy, and said, "I have some news for you. Once you hear it, I doubt you will still want to waste your time on him."

"Wasting our time on him?" Angela raised her eyebrows, looking confused.

Angela and Helena then exchanged glances with each other. They have known her for the majority of their lives, so even though Selena wore a calm expression on her face right now, they could tell that she was extremely delighted for some reason.

"What happened, Selena? I have never seen you so happy before," Helena eventually questioned.

Hearing her words, Selena could no longer contain her excitement and smiled brightly.

"The Demon God has ended our punishment. We're free to leave Death Paradise now," she revealed.

"What?!"

Both Angela and Helena exclaimed simultaneously, not daring to believe their ears.

"How is that possible?!" Helena questioned after snapping out of her daze.

Selena proceeded to explain the situation to them.

"That human brat asked the Demon God to free us, and the Demon God just agreed?! That sounds too good to be true!" Helena said afterward.

"I have to agree with her, Selena," Angela shook her head and sighed. "Did you even confirm that we are free before you came here to tell us?"

"Uh…" Selena fell silent for a moment before responding in a stiff tone, "I didn't."

"What?! You came here to tell us this news without even confirming it yourself?!" Helena exclaimed in disbelief.

"Because I wanted to experience it together…" Selena sighed.

"That's…"

The two fell silent as they examined Selena's calm yet emotional expression.

"Alright… Let's go and see whether that brat was telling the truth or not," Angela said a moment later.

Helena nodded, and they all left the world shortly later, leaving Owen behind.

Soon, they arrived at the border of Death Paradise.

"So… who wants to try leaving first?" Angela asked out loud.

Due to the Demon God's punishment, if they tried to leave Death Paradise even for a second, they would experience unfathomable pain nonstop for a million years. One might think they could simply endure the pain, but they wouldn't get far out of Death Paradise before being teleported back to their prison.

"I will go first since I am the one who's telling you to trust him," Selena said with a resolute face.

However, as Selena moved toward the border, Helena suddenly grabbed her hand and said, "No, let's do it together."

Helena followed Selena, leaving Angela behind, silently staring at them.

Eventually, Angela sighed and said, "Wait, I'll go with you."

Moments later, the three of them hovered right at the edge of Death Paradise. "Here we go…"

After taking a deep breath, they took the final step and left Death Paradise for the first time in billions of years.

The three of them froze outside Death Paradise, their hearts racing with the expectation that they would soon experience unimaginable pain for defying the Demon God's punishment.

Yet, even after a full minute, none of them felt any pain.

They exchanged gazes with each other, their faces looking completely dazed.

"We're… outside?"

"I'm… not experiencing any pain…"

"Me neither…"

After they fully digested the situation and a long moment of silence, they celebrated with joy.

"It's true! We're no longer confined within Death Paradise!" Helena cried tears of joy.

"Hahaha! That damn brat! I shouldn't have doubted him!" Angela said.

"Un." Selena nodded, causing the river of tears from her eyes to fall faster.

Once they calmed down, Angela asked, "How did he do it? I find it hard to believe that he simply asked the Demon God to free us, and the Demon God agreed."

Selena shook her head and said, "There's no point dwelling on it. It doesn't matter how he did it. The only thing that matters is that we owe him for helping us regain our freedom."

Helena and Angela nodded their heads in agreement.

"So, what should we do now that we're free?" Angela then asked.

"We can do whatever we want," Helena said. "I am going to continue torturing that traitor for a little longer then explore the world."

"I am also going to explore the world," Angela said.

Selena then said, "Me too, but once I am bored of this place, I intend on visiting the other world, where humans still exist."

"The other world…?" Helena and Angela stared at her with wide eyes. "You mean that brat's world? Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"I don't plan on going without receiving his permission," Selena shook her head. "If he doesn't allow it, then I will just go elsewhere."

She lifted her head to look at the sky.

"When we left this world and went to confront the Demon God, I realized just how small our world truly was. That vast, boundless space that exists beyond our world… I want to explore as much of it as I can."

"Then I will go with you," Angela said.

Helena nodded, "Wherever you go, we'll go with you."

"Alright."

Meanwhile, at the Demon Sealing Clan's Grand Library, two distinct groups of people stood before each other, looking like they were prepared to go to war.

"Qian Chu! I am here today to claim what is rightfully mine!" Yan Hara loudly declared.

"What is rightfully yours? What could you possibly be talking about?" Qian Chu sneered.

"I am talking about your position as the Demon Sealing Clan's leader!" "Hah!" Qian Chu coldly laughed. "My position rightfully belongs to you? Based on what? You didn't even qualify to be a Supreme Demon Sealer, yet you want to become the leader? You must be out of your mind!"

"The Leader's right. What qualifications do you have to even dare make such a claim?!"

Those on Qian Chu's side shouted.

"Haven't you heard?! Senior Yan has inherited the Divine Paragon's legacy!" Those supporting Yan Hara began shouting back.

"That's right! If anybody should be the leader, it should be her! Not some cold-hearted bastard like Qian Chu!"
