Chapter 2504: Five Prime Eternals
"Three requirements, huh?" Yuan muttered.
"Let me guess—they need to possess enough power, have sufficient achievements, and have lived for a certain amount of time?"
"You’ve got one right," Shiva said. "Indeed, one must possess enough power... at least a hundred trillion years of Eternal Essence."
"A hundred trillion years?" Yuan’s eyes widened at this number, as this meant that Prime Eternals have lived at least that amount, which was a hundred times more than the amount of Eternal Essence he can currently use.
’Does that mean Deemo is at least a hundred times stronger than me right now?’ Yuan swallowed nervously when he realized just how vast the difference was between them.
’I guess it was true when he said that he could’ve killed me at any time during our fight...’ he sighed inwardly.
He knew that he still had a lot of work to do before he could contest a Prime Eternal, but he could never have imagined how much work it truly was until today.
"Alright, what about the other two requirements?"
"The second requirement is to possess enough territory, which directly correlates to one’s influence and status," Shiva revealed.
"Territory? How exactly does that work?" Yuan asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Just as you humans claim land as your territory, we Eternals do the same," Shiva explained. "However, our scale is far greater. Instead of claiming houses or continents, we claim the universe itself—the void."
"I can figure that much out on my own, but how does it actually work?" Yuan asked. "How do you determine who owns which part of the void?"
He then looked around him in the endless starry sky and continued, "The universe is practically boundless, so I can’t even begin to imagine how something like that is measured or verified."
"We Eternals are capable of ’marking’ our territory using Eternal Essence," she replied. "Although Eternal Essence itself cannot normally be distinguished the same way one identifies an aura or presence, there are methods that allow us to make it recognizable."
"Moreover, Eternals are able to sense everything that happens in their territory, even if they are light-years away, and unless invited, they all tend to stay away from each other’s territories."
"And since we need Eternal Essence to mark our territory, this also means that we need sufficient prowess."
"How much territory do you have?" Yuan asked out of curiosity.
"...I do not have any right now, and I think you know why," she sighed.
"I see. What about the final requirement?"
"Sorry, but I can’t tell you." Shiva shook her head.
"Huh? Why not?"
"Because, quite frankly, I don’t want someone like you learning about it."
"Someone like me? What’s that supposed to mean?" Yuan asked.
"Exactly what it sounds like," Shiva replied. "I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but you are a danger to us Eternals."
She then narrowed her eyes slightly and continued, "And if you were to learn about that... I don’t even want to imagine the consequences."
"If you say something like that, it’ll only make me want to learn about it more," Yuan said with a cold smile.
’This information might reveal a weakness of the Eternals... I have to learn it somehow!’ Yuan thought inwardly.
Up until now, he had always viewed Eternals as godlike existences without flaws or weaknesses, but it seemed that might not entirely be the case.

"How many Prime Eternals are there right now?" Yuan asked, changing the topic.
"There are five, as far as I am aware."
"I know about Deemo and someone named Morveth. Who are the other three?"
"Why do you want to know? So you can offend them later?" Shiva sneered.
"Of course not. Prime Eternals are far beyond my league right now, so I’d rather avoid offending them if possible," Yuan replied.
Shiva narrowed her eyes at him for a moment before finally answering, "Hilla, Alisher, and Kakos."
A serious look then appeared on her face as she added, "If you seriously value your life, do not offend Kakos. Even we Eternals avoid that individual like the plague."
"Is this Kakos the strongest Prime Eternal?" Yuan asked, looking intrigued.
"It’s not his strength that makes him terrifying, but his nature," Shiva replied with a grim expression.
"As a matter of fact, Kakos is the only Eternal known to have truly killed another Eternal before." She paused for a moment before adding, "Or rather... he’s the only one genuinely capable of killing us."
"Oh?" Yuan became even more intrigued upon hearing this.
But before he could ask more, Shiva said, "Forget about it. I don’t want to speak about Kakos anymore."
At the same time, Zi Xuan spoke, "We’ll arrive at our destination soon."
Zi Xuan then entered her spirit form and began leading the way.
"Who is that?" Mu Xuelian asked with raised eyebrows after witnessing Yuan’s sword transform into a beautiful woman.
"My sword," Yuan calmly explained.
"..."
Mu Xuelian did not question further for some reason.
A few hours later, they finally arrived at the Apocalyptic Chasm, a region engulfed in scorching heat and overflowing with lava.
However, unlike ordinary lava, the lava there possessed a light blue hue, making the entire place resemble a vast ocean rather than a massive sea of molten rock.
Having spent most of her life within the freezing environment of White Hell, Mu Xuelian found the atmosphere there unbearably uncomfortable, as it was the complete opposite of everything she was accustomed to.
"What are we doing here?" Mu Xuelian asked while using her tribe’s martial techniques to cool her overheated body.
"My home is somewhere around here," he calmly explained.
"You... live here?" Mu Xuelian wore a dumbfounded look on her face.
"My personal world," he elaborated.
"You created your personal world in the middle of the Primordial Chaos? Are you insane?"
Yuan merely shrugged and replied, "Insane or not, it’s the perfect place for a hideout since almost nobody would dare come here."
