Chapter 2181: [bonus ] Merit A Reward
I soon finished looking at all the trees and couldn't help but feel even happier seeing the resources I had.
The number of resources on the plants will increase, and so will their level, and the only thing I have to do is continue feeding the bloodline essence to the Mysterious tree.
After I had finished with the plants, I sat on my study station. I did not start working immediately; instead, I brought out the loads' storage. They belong to the Grimm Monsters that Ashlyn, Nero, and I had killed in the ruin.
It is time to check out my loot, and I am quite excited about it. All the Grimm Monsters in the ruin are quite powerful, so their storage should contain the good things.
It took me nearly an hour to sort out the things, and I am very happy with what I have got. The Grimm Monsters have a fortune in their storages, and now, it is all mine. Though, I would have liked it if the vidette had more stuff in its storage.
More than 99% of things in storage belong to humans who had gone to the ruin; I planned to return Rhea and others their storages and also of the two dead people.
Though I could keep them as they belong to me since I have killed the Grimm Monsters, I will not. These storages contain all the things they have worked hard to get, and I could not keep them, especially in the time of war.
I would also return the storage of two dead people; they were Masters. Whatever they have in their storage will help their families greatly if they have any.
With the storage sorting out, I meditate for a few minutes before I begin to work on my Inheritance. I am very close to finishing it, but it might take some, especially now when I plan to make some changes.
The battle with the werewolf made me really familiar with some of my glaring weaknesses. Though I know these weaknesses could only be targeted by someone of gars caliber, and there are not many people of that level, I still did not want to keep those weaknesses hanging.
There are a large collection of books around me, tens of thousands of them, in neat shelves under the open sky.
Some of these books are real, while some are materialized by me. I had read them and recorded them, most of the recorded ones belong to the broken tower of the wisdom tower, and they are only for me alone.
I would not share them with others; it would be the breach of trust they have in me.
I looked at the shelves before moving my fingers up, and soon, a very thick tome flew out of the marble table on which it was placed. This tome which is longer than one meter with over ten thousand pages is a tome of weaving.
I have taken the designs from this tome for my armor and shield, and now, I have taken out the tome again because I want to make some modifications in their designs. It is much harder than one thinks, but I will do it to perfect my defensive method even more.
Time passed by as I continued working on my Inheritance, and before I knew it, it was an evening.
In this whole day, I have taken some breaks and even naps. The time in my core is three times faster, and seeing the complex thing I am working on, I need to sleep to relax my congested mind.
The hard work paid off as I have found a way to make my defensive method even tighter.
It is not easy, and I will have to work for days to achieve it, but I do not mind. There was nothing easy about creating my Inheritance, but I was still able to do it, and in front of that, this little bit of modification is nothing.
Three more days passed by, and I have finally finished with my modification, and when I tested, they seemed to work amazingly.
Though I will have to perform a few more tests on them, before I do that, I have to meet my mentees who had returned from the blood fields. I have to result of rose petals, and if I am satisfied, I could start working on Master class petals, now that I have gotten the main raw material from the lancet ruin.
Soon, I reached the parlor and saw Ida and Neena were already waiting for me there, and I have to say, quite a change had occurred in Neela.
She looked more confident and her eyes alert, and there was also an aura around her that tells she had fought many life and death situations and survived. This aura is normal for regular powerhouses but for someone like her who had been brough up as a healer, it is surprising.
"I am glad both of you returned alive. The blood fields can be quite challenging," I said as I sat in front of them.
"It was a death zone," Neela replied quite snappishly, which brough a smile to Ida and mine's face. Her reaction is better than I imagined; I would have thought she would rage at me for sending her to such a dangerous place.
"I assume you are able to finish the mission I had given to you," I said to them, "Yes, Lord Micheal, we are able to finish it," Ida said, and both of them took out a couple of boxes from their storages.
My eyes lit up, seeing that even a small surprise appeared when I saw, of the fifty rose petals I had given them, only nineteen had returned while thirty-one had turned to essence roses.
I have asked them for ten each, and that is a challenge itself; creating a twenty leader class Tyrants in a week is a huge challenge, but they have done much better than I had imagined them to do.
"Both of you done exceptionally well, and that merit a reward," I said, and their eye lit up hearing that, and they became shocked when I took out their reward.
