“I will kill you!”
Shouted an old snake in a fury I had never seen from it; it was angry, really angry, and it was understandable considering I had taken its precious pet.
Buzz!
The old snake did not waste even a second of time and activated, and the moment it did, my eyes couldn’t help but widen in shock.
Crack Crack Crack
The formation seemed to have held the weight of the mountain as the moment it activated it, the cracks began to form my shields almost immediately.
It is incredible power the formation has as my shields have become very strong after getting the green boost from the Kraf, but now the power that is filled with life essence mixed with a very powerful curse which seemed to be adept in bypassing my defenses.
In just a second, it had cracked more than 20% of the shields; it is a very fast speed; if this continued, then it would take less than five seconds for it to break my shield into pieces.
It is counting on that speed; it wants to finish me quickly, not give me any chance to find a way out of it like I did the last three times when I had fought against it.
‘It seemed like it had used the sample it took last time wisely,’ I said in my mind as I looked at fast-spreading cracks.
In the last battle, it had taken a sample of my strings, which I had let it. If I wanted to, I could stop it, but I did not, which now is going to help me.
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz!
When the cracks have covered around 40% of my shields, the formations activated across my shields. They did not make any sounds or light up; they just activated, and immediately, the cracks began to slow down to the shock of the old snake.
At the same time, my shields rapidly began to absorb the energies, and with it, the breaking had slowed down till it had completely stopped, stumping it frozen.
It had made a grave mistake, not that I blame it for that; it had thought it had made a wonderful plan, and it is, but the thing is, it had made the same mistake as the Kraf, an even bigger one than it.
It had used the life essence of the Grimm to power up its attack; it shouldn’t have done that; it is the thing I use to create essence rose. It might know that, or it thought, the curse it had mixed with the life-essence would change that, considering the curse is not from it.
Like those blood-red curse petals, the curse it had mixed in life essence to make it stronger is not from it; just like the red devil, it had a store of that curse in its staff rather than its own body, which it does with its curses.
It probably had thought that since I have greater immunity to its curses, it would use the powerful curse that did not contain its energy. It powered it with the life essence of the Grand Lord and mixed it with my own energy to destroy my defenses more smoothly.
It was very wrong, as I have immunity against all the curses of Grimm and even those who had not been originated from them.
When my constitution was created, it went to the base of the curse power, directly to the deepest origin, that goes even further than its own signature, to the primal signature of all curses.

So, it would be said I have immunity against all curses; it did not matter who created them.
Now, my shields are absorbing and even pulling all the energy that came at me and using it to form many tiny essence roses.please visit panda(-)N0ve1.co)m
The mixed curses had made things slightly difficult, but my clones have handled it all too well; it could be said the challenge in this battle is not provided by the old snake but by Anrd.
It took me quite a while for me to convince Anrd to let my seed inside it; I had made a deal with it that it would take my seed inside it, and I would help it break its bloodline out of the isolation and would not use my strings against it.
I followed the promise to the word; I did not use my strings; I only used the road of redemption to take it inside me.
“How are you able to do that? My method is powerful enough to eat away the defenses of Bradford,” It asked in shock.
Its eyes have become bloodied, filled with great confusion and frustration. It was so frustrating that I feared it might pull out its own scales.
I couldn’t help but pity it for a moment seeing that before I remembered what it did do just a few minutes ago.
It had drained a fellow Grand Lord without a shred of mercy, destroyed its foundation, and even planned to perform the experiment on it.
It is a true monster that does not deserve any pity.
“It’s just that I am good; no matter what you do, you couldn’t kill me,” I replied and could see great rage appearing in its eyes.
“Bastard, I will kill you!” It raged, and the next second, the formation brightened up like a bulb, and immensely powerful waves of attacks came through it, and my shields have absorbed it all without leaving any drop behind.
This is another idiotic thing it is doing; the amount of energy did not matter to me; it will only expedite the formation of those little essence roses.
It seemed to realize that, after a few seconds, it stopped the formation and just kept looking at me with such killing intent that I had never felt from any Grimm. It is vast and powerful, with thick flavour of cruelty in it, which is common in Grimm, but exceptionally dense in the old snake’s killing intent.

I felt my killing rule was advancing, and it was, which made me happy, and that very second, the harvest had begun, making me even happier, but I did not lose focus and kept my eyes locked on the Grimm.
“Just what is it will take me to kill you?” it asked as it calmed its emotion down. “You can’t, at least not with such half-hearted measures,” I replied.
I thought it would get angry, but it did not; instead, it just sighed before a small smile appeared on its face.
“Nothing great comes easy in life; one needs to be ready to make sacrifices, bet their own lives on it to get the things they desire,” it said slowly, and all the hairs on my body stood up hearing it, but what scared me most is look in its eyes.
‘Damn!’ I cursed as I saw the look.
I had just given the bastard some great idea, a very good idea if its expressions and words were any proof. I should have just stayed silent and not babbled with my mouth.
“We will meet again, Zaar, and next time, either you will die or I,” it said with conviction; I had never heard from it before, making me curse myself even more.
