I landed on the ground hard, caving it, but I did not care about that, as I am being shocked by the sheer density of energy and quality of it.
“Rhaek was right; it was really lacerating,” I said and looked around cautiously at the unstable space around me, which is normal in these types of runes, as not only is space unstable here, but also the time.
The time here moves twenty-two to twenty-six faster than outside, and it is happening due to the instability of time and space.
These are one biggest danger here, Rhaek had said; it had nearly got cut into two pieces many times. I also need to be careful, as this is not the space of our world but something that is much more stronger dangerous.
It may seem like the whole world is cracked, but space here is much stronger. I would need to use all my strength just to send the ripples in space here.
This ruin is called a swirling ocean, not because it is aquatic; no, it is not. Rhaek did not find any water bodies here, but Rhaek did not stay here for more than a week and only traveled a small area despite all its power.
It is called a swirling ocean because of the swirling clouds of colorful energy in the sky.
The energy inside the cloud is so powerful that if I breathed in it, it would tear me apart, and I would suffer energy poison. It had tried and barely survived due to the life-saving resource.
I don’t know why it had even tried it; the energy down below is heavy that my refinement engine is working at full power to process it, not to mention the energy lacerating me with every breath I took.
Thankfully, my body and soul were strong enough to bear it; normal Grand Lords would get injuries with every breath and, with their power, would collapse within ten minutes in near-death conditions.

It is one of the reasons I came here; there are other reasons as well.
I have around two years here, and if I calculate the core time, then six years, which is less than I would like, but I will have to make do and breakthrough into the Grand Lord class.
The first thing I did was look at the formation in my core, the formation, to measure the time.
The flow of time fluctuates here, and I want to keep a track of it; so I could return at the end of the month, and it seemed to work, which I did not doubt.
It is not something I had created but something I had pulled out from the library.
With that in mind, I began to walk; my first task is to find a safe, quiet place, a place where I could work silently. I planned to work in my core for at least a week before I moved to explore this ruin while my clones worked on the inheritance.
“Be careful, especially you, Nero,” I said to him as I called them out.
“Don’t worry, father,” said Nero as he jumped out of my shoulder while Ashlyn flew away.
They are more than powerful enough to protect themselves, more powerful than even when I was at my peak, but I worry about them, especially Nero; he gets curious about things.
And everyone knows what it does. However, he is not a cat or wolf per se.
I followed behind them as they remained close while avoiding the spatial rifts; most of them remained in their place, but some moved, and those were the most dangerous ones, capable of cutting me into two pieces.
In this area, there are very few of them, but Rhaek had written that there are some areas where there moving spatial tears are everywhere, and he had remained as far as away from those places.
I stopped and carefully plucked berries from one plant; one might think such a place may been barren before they would be quite wrong.
It is verdant; I have appeared in an area where plants are everywhere. It is a forest, but it still has a lot of plants.
The berries I had picked had filled with energy, and they did not seem poisonous at first scan, but I did not dare to eat them, seeing the sheer amount of energy contained inside the berries was more than enough to knock me out.
This place is above the limit; the power of the world barely has any influence here; it is at the very edge of the world’s influence.
It is filled with resources that could make even the eyes of the supreme with envy, but nobody dares to come here, and if we were not in the desperate straights, we wouldn’t have come here.
This is a place where people could like Rhaek for dinner; no one is idiot enough to mess around it.
Even Rhaek had not dared to come here despite all the resources and advantages this place could offer for a person like it.please visit panda(-)N0ve1.co)m
Ten minutes passed, and I picked up a couple of more resources; the latest ones were flowers than were hard as diamonds. They absorb light and convert it into pure light energy, a perfect resource for someone like Ellen.
Hun!
Another few minutes passed when I suddenly stopped and hid behind a boulder containing my aura.
Ashlyn had sensed something and now went to check while I hit carefully. According to Rhaek, there are many monsters above the Tyrant level here, and it had even suspected there is might some in the real Primary-II stage.
This is just speculation on its part, and I don’t necessarily agree with it, as the ruin is still under the world’s influence, no matter how small that influence is.
So, it is one thing to have a monster above the Tyrant stage, but it is completely another thing to have at the Primary-II stage.
It took about a minute for Ashlyn to find a monster; it was a bull, a blue color bull with crystalline grey horns, and it was above a Tyrant class.
Its size is quite small, the same size as the weakest bull monster on my native continent, but it is powerful enough to destroy the whole continent within a matter of seconds.
It is a monster above my league unless I want to burn my essence or use the slow method. I would have fought it, but I am fully recovered yet, and till I do it, I am not going to fight any monster here.
‘Be careful,’ I said to Ashlyn as she dived in to fight with the monster while I moved a little away.
The commotion might attract some monsters, and I want to be little away as possible, in just a case. I
It sensed Ashlyn and immediately sent the grey beam, which was so fast that I could not track, despite seeing it clearly with Ashlyn’s eyes, but Ashlyn did not seem to have any problem with it, as she moved ever so slightly and dodged the attack.
As she did it, she moved toward it fast, dodging more of its grey beams from the horns before reaching it, and just when her wings were about to touch, they turned metallic and cut through its skin.
Which may look like flesh, but it is very tough; even I would struggle to burrow my blade for more than an inch without the power of my burning essence.
Roar!
The monster roared than even I could hear it from miles and shot a rain of grey lasers at Ashlyn, but she avoided all of them and sliced across its skin.
The injuries would easily heal within a second, but it would make the bull angrier by the second, as it is unable to hit her.
It seemed to have finally lost its mind and appeared directly in front of Ashlyn and opened its mouth to chomp her down, and it had nearly done before she moved ever so slightly and avoided its mouth before giving a cut across its face.
It made it even more angry, and a full aura blasted out of its body.
It attacked Ashlyn with its full power and chased her like crazy, but it was not able to catch her; she would always slip by inches and give it a big cut.
Even a dumb monster seemed to understand she was playing with it, which made her even angrier, but it was unable to do anything.
Ashlyn continued to play with it for a few seconds before she became serious, and now the cut began to get bigger and bigger as she would increase her my many times before turning it small.
She had nearly decapitated the monster, which seemed to break the straw in the monster’s courage and begin to run away.
All the burning rage in its eyes has disappeared; now, it just wants to disappear from the devil before it decides to eat her.
Unfortunately, it is dead the moment she senses it, and seeing it running away, Ashlyn begins to increase her size before she is three times bigger than it and swept down, capturing it in her talons.
Crack!
It let it struggle for a few seconds before finally; she decided to kill it by snapping its neck and turning its brain into the water.
Which is what killed it; snapping neck doesn’t work on a monster of this level; it did not even work on Tyrants, with our powerful healing energy.
