Chapter 4378: Destination

I landed on the ground and looked at the beautiful lake before me.

Its crystal clear that I could see monsters swimming inside it. I wish I could transport it into my core, and I could; it might take some effort, but I could.

There is a vault underground; they have kept a lot of resources in there. Collected over centuries, in the hope that when the chance to get out of the realm appeared.

They will be able to take as many of those resources as they can.

I didn’t get to see that vault as it is one of the things forbidden to me, but I am sure I will see it eventually.

A few minutes later, I came across another trap, this one I was aware of. They provided me with information about it.

Some of these traps are old, decades old.

They might have been centuries old, but that thing only appeared here for a few decades, and people instantly started laying traps for it.

The traps, I could handle; I am confident of that. I am tricky, the people are tricky.

I could feel that many battles had been fought here. They are old, with the latest being over a year old; one could barely see the proof of it with the naked eye.

I scanned every inch as I moved forward, avoiding the traps and the monsters while looking at the people.

I saw none as I moved toward it, and soon I was only a few minutes away from it. The sun had disappeared, and the night had come, but it didn’t stop me.

Twelve minutes later, I cautiously reached the thing.

I looked at its size, but I could feel things from it and knew how dangerous it could be.

The thing is a rift; a spatial rift.

It is one of the most common things in the world and the realm. There hadn’t been a realm where I hadn’t seen one, but in this realm, they are very rare.

It is because this place is spatially strong and near perfect, with a few rifts existing.

This is a small rift, but when I sensed its power, I was shocked. They have informed me about it, but I was still shocked when I sensed it.

This small rift is using more energy than the biggest rift I have ever seen.

The realm is trying to close it, but the rift is using the counterforce to stay open. It is a massive force, so much that it will crush the two most powerful Primes here in seconds.

The escape route that appears has a spatial force much greater than this.

It’s why all those who tried to escape died. People saw them getting killed with their own eyes. There was no doubt about it.

If I just stepped inside it, I might not be able to go past it in the spatial seal, which would kill me instantly.

Most spatial rifts are at the same level. At least to the people of my power, but this is an instant death.

I prodded and probed for a few seconds with my soul sense before I took out my tools. My soul sense provides accurate data, but can’t replace the tools.

There are some things that only the tools could do. I could not copy them, even with all the forbidden power in the world.

It took me a while to set them up, and soon screens appeared in front of me.

Seeing the data flashing on it, my expression worsened, but I took a deep breath and kept looking. I had expected it; I already had some of the data from the village.

Minutes passed, and I focused on the tools, calibrating them to my needs to get the best data.
