Chapter 4408: The Rift
"They are really, sivren crystals," I said with a smile as I stopped beside a stall.
A lot of people are buying them, so the stock is rapidly evaporating. I didn’t waste any time; the moment I got to know about them, I came here.
"It is—the best quality. If you use them with a good formation, they are going to make your bedroom the most comfortable place," he replied.
He is Kasis, red crystal stone skin; he is the sky sovereign. He had been out for a few weeks, so the higher-ups asked those leaving the village to look for him.
It turned out that these crystals are the reason. He didn’t come back to the village sooner.
Sivren crystals create a soothing environment, but that is not the reason I want them.
They have other uses as well. It is a breakthrough resource, I could use its energy for my breakthrough. It is my core that started beating from a mile away.
"What do you want in exchange?" I asked. "Whatever you feel suitable for me," replied the man.
He is smart, and I like smart people.
A moment later, a bottle of potion appeared in my hand. It had clear blue liquid with sparkling brown dust within.
"If you ever burned your essence. Drink it immediately," I said, shocking the man. I didn’t say anything further and took out the portion before walking away.
I would have loved to take more, but it is a limited resource that everyone wants.
So, the rules demand that it should be divided equally. So everyone makes use of it.
It may seem like I overpaid, but I didn’t. These crystals are extremely rare outside. Now, getting this, I won’t need to use the substitute in my breakthrough, like I did with the past few.
That potion is one of the experimental ones that my clone had crafted.
It would work really well on stone skin like him.
It is early afternoon, usually at this time, I am in my cottage, but now, I am walking toward the restaurant. Since I came out, I might as well have an early lunch.
Hun!
I reached the restaurant and was about to step in when I suddenly stopped, before looking up.
I am not the only one; one of the most powerful Primes had also stopped in his tracks and looked at the sky. Though only for a moment, before sighing and walking away.
I didn’t, I kept looking. It might not be something special for them, but it is for me.
I have been waiting for this.
Ting Ting Ting!
A few seconds later, the gentle bell began to ring out. It never rang, but people seemed to know what it meant as they all looked up.
Some for a moment, while others for long.
I kept looking before spotting someone and flying toward them.
"You have been waiting for this, right?" asked Prime Avana as I appeared beside her. "I was," I replied, and there was a big smile on my face.
"Ah, enthusiasm." She said, looking at me, before her expression turned sombre.
"Just don’t let your hopes go too high. Prime Remus; it is very painful when they come crashing down," she replied. I didn’t say anything other than smile.
We kept flying up and soon reached the invisible forcefield, when she activated the stealth.
I did the same and breached the forcefield with her.
Stealth is necessary caution; most monsters know of the village, but sometimes they attack, and some stray attacks might go down below.
The force field is powerful enough to protect against most monster attacks, but there are some truly powerful monsters in this place.
We kept flying till we stopped and looked ahead of us.𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
There is no rift, not even a small one, but we could see the vibrating space in front of me.
Seeing that, I took out the sensors that I crafted for this. Twelve of them came out, some as small as a nail, while others are bigger than me.
She looked at me with a faint surprise.
"You seemed to be very prepared, Prime Arys," she said. "I am Prime," I replied with a smile. I am very much prepared; I have crafted the sensors to collect every type of data.
Within a minute, a window appeared in front of me. Showing me different kinds of data, they are transmitting.
"Suppose you had gotten the data you needed. How confident are you getting out of this place?" she asked. Her expression is nonchalant, but I could see the sparks of hope in her eyes.
They may have become jaded after spending centuries in here, but not all hope had left them.
They still hope, despite it only giving them disappointment at every turn.
"Ask me after I collect and study all the data," I replied. I may want to leave and be confident in my abilities, but I don’t know everything.
So, I will refrain from answering such questions till I have all the data in my hands.
She didn’t say anything to that, but a small smile appeared on her face.
Time passed, and the vibration got more intense. Prime had also begun to come up and watch it. Most of them have the same jaded look, but also sparks of hope.
I looked at the data in front of me and some things I saw didn’t make me feel good, but I kept my expressions under control.
I already knew that there would be some things here that I won’t like. I will have to accept, and find a way to deal with it, if it is detrimental to my efforts to leave this place.
Soon, the two most powerful had also appeared.
I could see their soul sense spreading far and wide; a few monsters that tried to come close ran away when they released a hint of their aura to them.
Minutes passed, and the shaking got intense by the minute before, finally, it happened.
