Chapter 4410: Tools
I moved them into the rift.
I could see the surprise in their eyes as they saw them moving into the rift.
A second later, they were into the rift, bearing assault, over a hundred times stronger than the spatial energy of the outside.
It is powerful enough that not even the strongest Prime would be able to bear it for more than a fraction of a second, before it grinds into the world’s finest powder.
The connection between them and me is severed, and now they are following their programming.
I could have kept the connection active, but I would have needed a massive amount of forbidden power. Something, they might have sensed.
I can’t take those risks.
Still, I created a failure to protect the data, in case the spatial energy destroyed it. There is enough energy in them to send one pulse of information.
They won’t be sending it to me, but to one of the artifacts in the core of spatial power covering the rift from outside.
It’s a massive risk, but I need to take it.
They begin to move into the places, with the bar moving toward the centre of the spatial storm.
It took several seconds, but it reached there and I could see its enhancements flaring brightly. Based on the light I could see, it is using its full power to resist the assault of the spatial energy.
"Congratulations, Prime Arys. Your tools now hold the record of the longest things to survive in the rift," said Prime Karamiv.
There is a surprise in his eyes, but also a seriousness that I had never seen before. I am seeing it in the eyes of everyone as they look at me.
I didn’t reply to his words; my focus is on my tools.
They are using their full power to survive, and they will need to do so for a while for me to obtain the data I need. If they came out too soon, I won’t get the data I need.
I don’t know whether they will survive for that long. All I could do was trust in my ability.
My clones and I had studied through every text of data they had provided us and the ones we had collected through the rifts to design these tools.
It had taken a lot of time and effort, not to mention a considerable amount of resources.
Very rare resources that I have in a limited amount.
Finally, a minute passed, and my tools were still standing. A minute isn’t enough; they will need to remain there for a longer period.
They are collecting all sorts of data in there and performing different experiments.
They are comprehensive, as I will only get one chance to obtain the data I need.
Soon, over an hour passed by, and the tools were still there. The spatial energies weren’t able to destroy them; it had made me relieved.
I was watching it when the color of the light emitting from the bar had changed.
Immediately, my expression became serious.
People couldn’t see it, but the middle section of the bar is opening. From there, a tiny ball the size of a small marble will come out.
It did, as the light had turned dark green.
Now, the most important part. The next color would determine whether one of the most important experiments succeeded or failed.
A moment passed, and the bar had turned black for a moment before regaining its original blue color.
Seeing that, a big smile appeared on my face.
"What happened?" asked Prime Avana. "Something good," I replied.
What just happened is that the tiny ball had gone out of this realm. It is likely the first to achieve that feat.
It hadn’t gotten out, but also sent the data outside, and it experienced it in a fraction of a second, before the place changed. The shade of the black would have been lighter if it hadn’t happened.
I could tell Avana is very curious, but she didn’t ask about it.
I can’t tell them about it until I get my hands on the data from those tools. Even then, I will study it further before revealing anything.
Another hour passed, and the tools were still standing.
I have designed them in such a way that once they enter. Their formation would change on its own to survive longer.
I need them to stay as much as possible. Record all the changes, big and small, that the rift goes through. So, I would be prepared for everything when I try to leave this place.
Soon, three hours passed, and they were still in there.
They had exceeded my expectations. I thought they wouldn’t be able to stay there for more than two and a half hours, but they have been there for three.
I should have most of the data I wanted, but staying longer will provide me with even more data.
They are staying there as long as they can.
Soon, four hours passed, and then five, and they were still there. Also, the people, nobody had left, and even more had gathered than before, all watching the tools.
Time passed till the twenty-third minute of the fifth hour, when the pyramid-shaped tool blazed brightly and shot out of the rift.
A moment later, it was in front of me.
I didn’t touch it immediately. Instead, a thick blue metal box appeared in my hand, and a moment later, the formation on it activated.
As I did, the pyramid entered inside the box, fixing itself perfectly in the space made by it.
Immediately, the runes around it lit up. They will extract the data from it.
It is extremely dangerous to touch that thing. Seeing the amount of spatial energy present in the metal.
One minute and fourteen seconds later, the disk came in, like the pyramid I had put into the box.
Thirteen minutes passed when another tool came. It was none other than the bar.
I want to read the data in them immediately. Instead, I waited, and I needed to wait for thirty-two minutes before the last spear came in.
"Prime Arys, after a long while, you have given us a true hope." Prime Rava said, turning to me.
"I will not try to disappoint you all," I said, looking at all of them.
"If you need anything, just ask. The whole repository in your hands," said Karamiv. "I will remember that," I replied.
I am going to need a lot of resources, many of which are in the repository.
