Chapter 4440: Many Things

Chapter 4440: Many Things

Hours passed and soon its evening.

I am in my core, but I also have some of my focus targeted on the cottage. Earlier, when talking to that woman, I said evening but forgot to mention the time.

Now, she could come at any time, and I want to know when she does. I don’t want to give her any excuse.

She seemed normal enough, and she is until that madness is in control, but the moment she lost control over it. anything could happen.

I don’t want to take any chances and prepare for everything, including her forcefully demanding the red-sartil metal.

One didn’t have to be mad for it to desire it. It’s an extremely precious metal. It could even be said that it’s more valuable than the black tar soil.

I pushed those thoughts and focused on the thing in front of me.

It’s another formation of my inheritance. I had been working on my inheritance since I had finished with the gate; this time, it’s more difficult and will need effort and time.

I am giving it my all. I want to finish the inheritance soon. So, I will be able to focus on the other things.

This is one tricky formation. I am making it completely out of the ancient runes. Something I regret is the amount of time it is taking.

I had spent quite a lot of time working on it.

It’s very hard, given the power I want from it, but since I’ve taken it, I might as well finish it off.

If I am able to do it, my armor will be able to process the energies even better than before while taking less energy from me.

Knock Knock!

I was focused on it when the knock rang out at my door. I immediately opened my eyes and appeared beside the door before opening it.

"Prime Mirna," I greeted the woman. "Prime Arys, aren’t you going to invite me in?" she asked, looking hurt, like I had disrespected.

’I was about to,’ I wanted to say. Instead, I smiled. "Please, come in," I replied and invited her into my cottage.

"It’s a modest cottage for a person of your power," she said as he walked inside. "It serves the purpose," I replied.

"Of course it would. You have warded it strongly enough that even the three wouldn’t be able to watch you sneakily without you knowing," she said.

It surprised and even alarmed me, but I know she said those words to get the rise out of me. So, I only smiled before asking her to sit and sat in front of her.

"I have Red-Sartil, what are you going to offer in exchange for it?" I asked directly.

The sooner I finish, the better it will be, and I really hope she has something to trade or not to blackmail me. I would hate to make my relationship with this man bad.

"So, rushed, Prime Arys," she said. "I am busy, Prime Mirna, and would like to finish with it as soon as possible," I replied with a sigh.

"Then, I will not waste your time," she said with a surprisingly serious tone.

A moment later, a wooden box appeared in front of her. Its small, with only space for something smaller than the first size.

"It’s the only thing I have that is equal to red-sartil," she said. I didn’t say anything and took the box, which she let me, and opened it.

Hun!

The moment I saw the thing inside, my eyes widened. It’s been a long time since I saw it—especially the fully mature one.

"The miracle fruit," I said, looking at it. "The miracle fruit of strength to exact," she corrected.

It’s a Prime Grade and perfectly matured. Its use is tremendous for me. I could use it for all three of my methods, and it would increase their benefits by a lot.

For a few seconds, I didn’t speak at all before I brought a small glass vial.

In it is the pure rest dust.

"You are not skimming me on quantity, and its pure too, at least 99.7%," she replied, taking the vial in her hand.

"Its 99.88," I replied. I had purified it further; the purer it is, the greater its effects will be.

"Amazing. It will be very useful once I get out of here, if your gate doesn’t work. Which I think have much better chances of working than that man’s," she said, and the vial disappeared.

"Thank you for the confidence," I replied, relieved. She accepted the vial without asking for more.

It’s a fair price; it could even be said that I had been a little generous, but I am not. This is definitely worth it; I will start processing it immediately. So, I could use it in the formulas.

"So, do you have anything else to trade?" she asked.

If it had been before, I would have declined, but a moment after she spoke, hundreds of things appeared, including things like a blue shirt.

I wish I could use the resources I had produced in my core. I am sure this woman would be interested in some.

Seeing the things, her eyes lit up, and the next moment. She brought out her own things, and they are amazing, so it took all my willpower not to snatch them away.

From metals with law power infused in them to plants filled with immense vitality.

Though my focus is especially on the half-meter length metallic ore with very faint laser power coming out of it, other things have much greater and clearer laser power, but this one has the laser power that I had comprehended.

The law of the sun.

I wanted it very much, but I barely looked at it. I didn’t want the woman to know how desperately I want it.

"Do you like anything?" she asked. "Many things," I replied. Oh, I want so many things.

"You have some good things too," she said, feeling my gaze.
