Chapter 4475: Progress

The man looked at me for several seconds before the ring flew toward me.

I caught it and sent it to my core directly while keeping my eyes on him. If there are any tricks, my clone will find them or the resources inside.

A second later, a smile appeared on my face. He didn’t play a trick; there are quite a lot of resources and a good one.

"Thank you for your generous compensation, Prime Yarvid. I hope we will meet in similar circumstances once more," I said, and he man glared, removing his mask.

I smiled and walked away, feeling quite happy. The resources are quite good.

The man was wise enough that he gave me good stuff, and it’s a good thing he didn’t. If he hadnt, I would have messed him up, till he did.

I could forgive one mistake, but that’s all.

I didn’t walk for more than a few seconds. I increased my speed and activated the stealth at full power.

He might have survived me, but his challenges aren’t over. Now, he has to deal with monsters that are coming toward us.

It didn’t take long for one to reach me, but it didn’t sense me and moved fast. So, it’s another one that came after. Yarvid is also activated stealth and is now moving slowly and carefully.

His stealth ability is good. He was able to follow me without being sensed by my monster.

Still, there are a lot of monsters gathered in one place, and they are searching for us. That will make things difficult for him.

Not only him, but also me. My stealth is good, but I am not taking chances.

I don’t want to be bogged down by the monsters. That is the last thing I desire; it will waste a lot of my time.

Minutes passed, and I dodged one monster after another. Yardiv didn’t seem that lucky. He got caught, seeing the energies I had sensed.

I didn’t think about it much and continued with my journey, and resumed collecting the resource.

As I moved, a map appeared in front of me. Things change inside it, but one could still use it for general consultation.

I had brought this information from others; the maps of every time it had opened. It is helping me navigate through this place to reach further, facing fewer obstacles.

Hours passed, and before I knew it, it was evening.

Soon, the sun completely went down, and I continued moving for another two hours at a slightly slower speed before finally deciding to stop at eight.

Step!

I took the step inside the abode and felt a sense of safety enveloping me.

It is the safest place. Even monsters would have a hard time finding me, even if they know the location of it.

I have made many small upgrades in it, and after I reach the Peak of Sky Sovereign. I would start working on the big upgrade. I have a lot of ideas.

I pushed those thoughts away and walked to the bathroom. After the shower, I sat in the kitchen.

A moment later, a sumptuous dinner appeared in front of me. Freshly cooked by my clone.

I ate alone, before lying on the couch and closing my eyes.

I entered my core, and in front of me are the resources I had gathered throughout the day. My clone had been analysing them since I began.

The resources here are special. Even the basic ones have a faint amount of law power.

Such resources are very helpful in practice, and I want to learn as much as possible before I start experimenting. So, I could use them in my formulas and other things.

If they had been like their counterpart outside. It would have been much easier, but they are not.

I don’t mind. I know the value of these. They are worth time and effort, and I plan to give it to them. I looked at everything before walking toward the library.

I could simply appear at its gate, but most of the time, I like walking to it. This way, I could take a look at my whole core.

Soon, I reached the core and sat down to comprehend the law.

I only have one resource, which has powerful law today, but it was the law of Earth, not the law I comprehended.

It is good as well, but I would rather find them myself. It will reduce the hassle of trading with others and the problems that it will bring.

I have hope, I will.

This place doesn’t have plants with the laws; just the laws Golden Prime fought here had, which makes two of my laws, the law of Healing and the law of killing.

There was no law of the sun and the swallowing.

I will find them. I have seen the deeper I go. The more law power, the plants seemed to contain in them.

When I opened my eyes, there was a smile on my face and surprise. It was the longest session since I had come out of the realm.

I knew this place would help in comprehension. If I had the appropriate law, but I hadn’t thought about it, the effects would be this good.

They are very good. I had made the best progress in the law of killing since I came out of the realm.

I hope it will be the same for the law of healing. I need it especially.

It is the most lagging behind in my law. Maybe it is because I haven’t done much healing or something else, but I want it to move at a similar pace to other laws.

I rested for a while before I started working on my inheritance. I did it till midnight before I stopped and stepped out of my core.

I stayed on the couch for a few seconds before walking toward the practice room to practice my methods.

I hope nothing disturbs me or finds me.

That would be terrible. It is the only time in the day when I am weak as a chicken; anyone could harm me, even a Sovereign.
