Chapter 4497: Tree

Days passed by fast as we moved from one spot after another.

Not all spots were strengthening type; some were cleansing, and some were only useful to Primes, but I don’t mind.

I am getting massive benefits. My strength has risen rapidly and has now increased enough. If four monsters attack me now, I wouldn’t be as desperate as I had been four weeks ago.

Yes, our last destination is the tree, a truly gigantic tree covered in a colourful mist. It became clearer the closer we got and the bigger it became.

Soon, we sense another person. This one is alone, but he is not wearing a cloak.

"A member of Alkaz," she said, and I nodded. It is why he is going openly. People do not want to mess with Alkaz; even Golden Prime organisations stay away from them.

Though cultists love to hunt them, sixteen sixteen-year-old handsome men are prey; he is the hunter.

As we got closer, he turned to us and waved. Dynvar didn’t react, but I did. I waved back at the man; it seemed to surprise him.

Though a moment later, he smiled.

We moved side by side; his speed was about the same as ours, and his power felt about the same to Dynwar.

An hour passed, and the tree now seemed truly giant. It’s so huge that it encompasses an area larger than the campus of Taurus.

We are about half an hour away from it, but I begin to feel its power and strange familiarity.

Rustle!

I was thinking that when the rustling of leaves rang in my core. It immediately became clear why it felt so familiar.

"It is said, this tree descended from the seedling of the world tree." Said Dynvar. "It’s true," I replied, and she turned to me in surprise.

"In my world, there is a seedling of the world tree," I explained, and it is true.

I had planted it, not one but two.

I wonder how they are growing; the seedlings of the world are in high demand. I know, I had fed the one, I had thousands of Grimms and other foreigners.

Even with that, it is far from its peak.

The tree in front of me is not a direct seedling, but several generations behind; but despite that, its power is immense. Forget the Prime, I don’t think even a Single Prime would be able to do anything to this tree.

Its very powerful and it is covered by laws; all the laws of this marsh are covering it.

They are even more powerful here than they had been in the curtain. Spreading over a much larger part. If they concentrated, they would create crystals as large as the hills.

Minutes passed, and finally, we reached the tree and felt its true power.
