Chapter 4507: Crafting

Chapter 4507: Crafting

".. recruiting, I hope, will be able to pass through it. Without the organization’s support, I don’t think I will be able to break into the Primary," said a big, muscled man.

He is very drunk, which is the reason he is babbling. Usually, even Primary is quite controlled.

"You seemed strong enough; you have a good chance to get accepted," I replied, and he smiled, taking another sip of his drink.

I am in the Tavern preferred by the Primary. Every night, I visit a place wearing a different persona, striking up conversations with people I will unlikely to meet in the future.

There is some beauty to these fleeting connections.

"I should be. It will make my family’s and my life much easier," he said. I didn’t say anything other than smile before taking another bite of my food.

Since I couldn’t cook, I came out to eat.

I didn’t look or scan the places for the food. No, I just enter whatever strikes my fancy. Sometimes, I luck out, and sometimes, I do not.

I like the unpredictability. It’s what makes this fun.

Soon, I finished the dinner and drank my beer before turning to the man in front of me.

"I pray that you will get selected," I said and tapped on his shoulder before walking out. He didn’t sense the energy I sent into him, the difference between us was too huge.

The energy would not help him get selected into Ravanseer, but it will increase his chances.

When he sleeps tonight, the energy will activate and cleanse his body through. It will also heal every minute injury and wash away every foreign energy.

This will significantly increase his chances of advancing into the Sovereign.

He would be able to do it on his own.

I didn’t immediately fly toward my house. Instead, I walked through the busy streets before flying into the sky. Nobody notices me aside from Primes.

There are a few Primes in the city and a Silver Prime. His soul sense is always scanning over the city.

Thud!

A few minutes later, I landed in front of my house and entered. As I did, I activated its sensory defenses; they are loud.

Enough for anyone that I do not wish to be snooped on.

With that done, I lay on the couch and closed my eyes. A second later, I appeared in my core.

I didn’t walk toward the tower as I usually do. No, today I will start something.

I appeared beside the tools, my clone had crafted—a pressing machine. There are seven of them, corresponding to the seven types of grapes I had chosen.

Since I found the grapes in the marsh, I wanted to craft the wine.

My earlier plan was to create a single grape wine, but after experiencing the fruit. I planned to create a multi-grape one, aiming to replicate the effect of fruit.

This is why it took me four and a half months to start on it.

These grapes are precious; each one contains a different power of law. I need to be very sure before using it.

I am taking a massive risk in mixing them. There is a very good chance that it will all go to waste, but if it worked. It will be much better than the single grape wine.

I gently put the grapes into their individual slops.

The threat will crush them, but it is not that simple. It will also force as much law as possible into the squeezed juice.

The leftover wouldn’t be thrown. I will craft the spirit from them, and this will individualize one. If wine didn’t work, I would need a backup plan to cover my losses.

After placing the grapes into the tool, I activated it.

I usually do this work with my hand, but this time, I designed the process. According to it, it would be better to let the tool handle it.

My work will begin during the fermentations. The first fermentation, I don’t think, I

As I activated the tool, the runes lit up, and it began to work. It will take hours to squeeze all the juice out before I can add the yeast.

That is my years of work or decades of work, considering it happened in the core.

Knowing that I love to craft the wine, I started breeding the yeast. I had bred several types of it, using forbidden power.

In my tests over the months, several of them reacted quite well with the law. I will use one that provided me the best result.

I have made the preparations for every stage, but I still don’t have complete confidence that it will work.

I pushed those thoughts away and looked at the tools. The juice had started to drop out of the grapes, and I could feel the power of laws in them.

Seeing it, a smile couldn’t help but appear on my face.

I watched it for a couple of minutes before walking into the library. In the past four and a half months, I have been working on inheritance and nothing else.

I have made more progress than I initially thought possible.

The comprehension I got from the fruit helped tremendously. I was able to successfully craft five significant full ancient rune formations.

I looked at the inheritance before sitting on a familiar carpet and closing my eyes.

I may have reached the peak of basic knowledge in the laws, but that is far from my goal. My goal is to progress from the basic state to the intermediate level.

Extremely few Prim’s manage to do something like that. It is too hard, and I am not even Prime, but I have to do it.

My laws may be powerful, but they are also not the laws I want. In my world, my rules had merged; they gave me two amazingly powerful rules.

I want to do the same in here.

I haven’t found a way to achieve that yet, but I know it will happen. The only thing I have to do is take my laws as high as I can.
