Chapter 4527: Spar
"I think its far enough," said Dynvar as we stopped after flying away a sufficient distance from the island.
"It is," I replied and turned toward her.
There are barely fifty meters of distance between us. It is nothing seeing our speed, but it will do for what we are planning to do.
"Ready?" I asked. She nodded, and her weapons appeared in her hand. Mine did at the same time.
We watched each other for a moment, when suddenly a storm burst from her, and she came at me with her full power and the laws.
Burst 100%.
I smiled and activated the full burst. She is very powerful. I need to use every ounce of strength. Thankfully, I have enough to fight her with the persona intact.
I reached the limit in physical and was forbidden a few months ago, and I took some time to polish my fighting style.
It is a fraction of what I am giving to the inheritance, as it is the only thing that remained, before I make a breakthrough.
Still, even that helped me enough that I could use every ounce of my strength as efficiently as possible.
She appeared in front of me, with her two laws covering her sword. It had been only half a year since we had returned from the realm, and she had made progress in her laws.
Even the tiniest progress in the laws is big in such a short time, but here I am not talking about the comprehension of her laws, but the synchronization between the two laws.
She seemed to have made a big breakthrough on it. Seeing how they have nearly become one.
’Oh, so this is why, she had asked for the spar,’ I thought. I was surprised by her sudden request, but not anymore.
She appeared in front of me, like she had teleported in front of me, before swinging her sword fast at a speed that is invisible to most Prime.
I smiled and moved my sword forward. She tried to avoid it before I adjusted the position.
Clang!
The weapons clashed, and I felt the power of the attack. It was something else. Especially, the laws came with a powerful punch.
Both physical and energy.
They would have shaken me, but I have prepared against her laws. Yes, I gave some time and developed a mechanism to deal with her laws.
"Your synchronisation had become very good," I praised. "Still not good enough to even shake you," she replied, before suddenly disappearing and appearing behind me.
I turned and defended against her attack, but she disappeared and appeared to my left.
Once more, I turned and defended.
She is powerful, and that is why I am staying in my spot. If I moved, I wouldn’t be able to be as powerful and effective as I want to.
I am doing a good job in managing her, despite her massive strength.
It’s all because of the study I did on her. Not only her laws, but also her energy, fighting style, and everything else. If it had been someone else with similar strength, I wouldn’t have been able to do it.
Its why it has become essential that I make a breakthrough into Peak Sky Sovereign as soon as possible.
Clang Clang Clang!
Her attacks came at me like a furious storm. They are hard and fast, but like a mountain, I defended against each and every one of them, no matter how strong they came.
She began to use every move in her arsenal, while all I did was defend.
I could see that it was frustrating her, but she continued with the attack. Trying to break past my sword, but not a single one was able to pass through it.
Not even thousands of tiny bolts of concentrated lightning, which I let her hit me.
I am not just fighting her, but also training her. My clones are looking at her at a microscopic level, revealing the flaws that I couldn’t see.
I am revealing it to her as we fight, which is why she is becoming deadlier.
I could also see her synchronization of laws becoming smoother. All these factors have made things challenging for me.
She is one of the strongest Primes in the world, and it is not easy to fight her. If I had not been using it every once in a while, I wouldn’t have been able to fight like I am.
Also, just like her, I am improving as I fight with her.
An hour passed, and then another, and we are still fighting. We have attracted some attention, but people could see we are sparring.
Even if we were fighting, none of them had been powerful enough to interfere.
If they did, they would be massacred within seconds.
Clang!
Once more, I defended against her attack and prepared for another, but it didn’t come. She stopped. We fought for three and a half hours.
"Thank you for the spar, Prime Arys," she thanked. "It is my honour, Prime Dynvar," I replied.
A moment later, we flew toward the island.
It didn’t take us long to reach it. We didn’t go directly to the house. Instead, stopped at a pyramid-shaped building and entered inside.
A few seconds later, we stepped underground.
"It’s doing well," I said, looking at the cask in front of me. It is not spirit crafted by me, but Dynvar; it is the first one she did. Made of the resources we found in the curtain, but with a low amount of law in them.
The ones with a high amount of law are on the left. There are three casks of different sizes. Each holding a spirit, I had crafted.
All of them are aging. Including Lightning Apple spirit, the first fruit spirit I had crafted on the island.
It is not ready yet, but it will be in a few weeks.
"It is looking very good. I can’t wait for it to be ready," she said as she appeared beside me, with her eyes impatient.
"Soon," I replied and walked out of the basement with her.
