Chapter 4533: Leaving the City

Chapter 4533: Leaving the City

"This should work," I said as I read through another idea.

There are three columns in front of me; all of them have ideas for the Prime Inheritance. The first is one I have accepted; the second, one I am not sure about; and the third, one I have rejected.

It had been nine days since I made a breakthrough, and I had started working on the Prime Inheritance.

I am still not sure which direction I want my inheritance to take, but I am working through it along with the formation of the inheritance.

I may not have decided on the direction, but there will be some parts of the inheritance that will remain the same, no matter the direction I take on the inheritance.

So, I am working on them; it is better than not doing anything.

They also made me realise how difficult my Prime Inheritance is going to be. The difficulty of the new formations I have to craft is beyond what I had crafted.

It is why most of the time in these past nine days has been spent comprehending the laws and studying.

These are the things that could help me the most.

I wish the teacher would teach me again like before; it would make things much easier, but that’s not possible anymore. She will guide, not teach.

I pushed those thoughts and focused on the ideas.

Dynvar will be coming soon, and I want to go through at least a few of them before she arrives.

A few days ago, I had sent her the message that I would be coming to visit her organisation, but she had asked me to wait. She is out and will be coming here after she finishes her business.

I will be going to her organisation with her.

She had said she would arrive by afternoon, and it is afternoon. She had not arrived yet, but she will, with her strength; there are very few things that could harm her.

Especially in the territory of her own organisation.

I focused on the ideas in front of me. They are amazing, and I want to choose all of them, but that’s not possible. I have to select those that align with the direction I have yet to choose.

So, if I choose something different, I will have to shuffle the list again.

Still, it is not a waste of time as it is helping me expand on these ideas. I am even getting inspired by them and coming up with new ideas.

I am having fun. It is kind of amazing to work on so many ideas, think about them from all directions.

Hun!

I was working through them when I sensed the presence. A smile on my face, before a surprise.

Though a moment later, a smile appeared again, bigger than before.

I stepped out of my core and got off the couch before appearing beside the door. A second later, I opened it, and there was Dynvar.

She looked the same as before; one could barely sense any change in her.

"Congratulations, Lady Dynvar," I said, and the smile on her face froze before a shock appeared on it. Though a moment later, it turned into a smile.

"It is hard to hide things from you. Prime Arys," she replied, and stepped inside the house.

"When did you advance, if you don’t mind me asking?" I asked as we sat down. "About four months ago," she replied, before her eyes became serious.

"A large credit for that goes to you," she stated. "It is all your effort," I replied.

I am not going to take any credit for her breakthrough. I could not even if I wanted to. Breakthroughs are personal and can only be achieved by one’s own efforts.

"The spirit helped. Most importantly, the lotus seed; its help was tremendous," she said.

Yes, on the day we left the island, I gave the lotus seed. It’s not as powerful as the lotus, but it could help tremendously in aiding the breakthrough.

"I am glad, it was helpful to you," I replied.

I have given it with the hope that it will be useful to her, and it makes me glad that it was able to help her, but it is only a resource, rare and useful as it may be.

It only gave her an edge. The breakthrough was all hers.

If she hadn’t read and had made all preparations, including taking her laws really high. She wouldn’t have succeeded in breaking through the Silver Prime.

"How is the new power feeling?" I asked. "Like, I am god." She replied immediately, making me smile.

"You are, everyone below the Silver Prime is against you. Also, many Silver Primes do not match you." I replied, and she smiled.

She was one of the strongest in the world when she was Prime. So, it’s obvious that when she makes a breakthrough into Silver Prime, she would be very strong.

Most initial Prime’s won’t be her match; only the mid-ones could compare to her.

Without Law’s, she would be stronger than most Mid-Silver Primes.

I couldn’t help but feel envious of her level. She is Silver Prime, I want to be Prime. It will be a long, arduous journey, but what choice do I have?

"Are you now going back to your organisation or staying in the city today?" I asked. "I am ready to leave as you can, Prime Arys," she replied.

"I am ready now," I said and got up. She smiled and got with me, and we walked toward the door.

"Prime Arys, I have a request," she said as we reached the door. I turned to her. "My advancement is secret." She stated.

"My lips are sealed," I said.

I am not surprised; organisations like hers like to keep their cards hidden—especially the ones, like her, that could have a big effect.

"Thank you, Prime Arys," she said, and we walked out the door.

After years, it’s time to leave the city finally.
