Chapter 4542: Goodbye
"Goodbye," I said to Prime Dynvar and Prime Syvar as we reached the edge of the island.
"We will meet again," she said. "We will," I replied, hugged her, and nodded to her grandmother before flying away.
They watched me as I left and remained there until they disappeared from my eyes. I turned to look at them one last time before sighing.
A moment later, I increased my speed as I flew across the sea.
This will be a long journey, and even with the power of Prime, it won’t be without danger, seeing my luck. I will be moving through the safe parts, but the sea is unpredictable.
Anything could happen, even in safe parts, as well as for truly dangerous ones.
Well, let’s say, even Golden Prime hadn’t returned from there. The world is full of danger. Even paramount powerhouses couldn’t guarantee their life, much less someone like me, who is not even a Prime.
I looked ahead of me, and a route appeared in front of me.
It is not clear whether each section has multiple interconnecting branches. One route didn’t work on the sea; I created this.
Every turn has an option; if the selected option isn’t good. It took painstaking research, and I am glad that Dynvar provided me with a map and information available only to Silver Primes.
I looked ahead and could see the vast sea in front of me.
It is stretched as far as I could see. It is massive, filled with all kinds of danger. The area I am travelling in is the safest, even the Primaries would be safe.
This is the domain of organisation, and they keep the area under control and safe, but it is much harder than the land.
Monsters sneaked in, avoiding their people and sensors, which sometimes causes a problem.
They have the best security I have seen in an organisation. I could powerhouses a specific distance, from Primaries to Prime.
It is a very good system, but nothing is perfect.
Time passed by, and I finally stopped. I got out of the restricted zone, now I can use the spatial travel. I did not waste any time and acted.
Soon, the bubble formed around me, before the space gathered behind.
When it reached a certain level, I moved forward, and I moved with a speed greater than I had ever done—more than when I came to the organisation with Dynvar.
I am not using my full speed; about the same energy as when I came with Dynvar, but much faster.
I was inspired while meditating on the vibration released by the runes laid down by the Golden Prime. It gave me insight into the space that I have yet to fully unpack.
I am sure that when I have fully digested it, my understanding of space will reach a completely different level.
It is one of the most unexpected benefits, aside from the massive resources I have traded with Primes and Silver Primes, along with buying a lot of things from their stores.
Now, my repository has a much greater variety than before.
I didn’t need many things, but I still got them. They were rare and might be useful in the future. Most importantly, I could trade them with others.
It helps build connections, which itself help me get more stuff.
I have a lot of stuff, far more than I need. Even after, I reach Prime, I won’t need to very worry about it, but right now, I don’t know exactly what resource I would need.
I am sure about 70%, but there is 30% I am unsure about; the variety would help.
Especially, if I found myself trapped in a unescapable place for years. My large resources helped me tremendously in the prison realm.
If I hadn’t hoard so many of resources. I wouldn’t have been able to make a breakthrough and build the tool to get out.
It is main reason, I had been able to.
Those people would have been able to do that to. If they had resources. Yes, their attempts have failed, but large part of blame goes once more to resource.
If they had enough of it, they would have eventually succeeded with trial and error.
I pushed the thoughts away and focused on the road ahead. I controlled the space and took the turn. In front of me is large city with spatial control, I wouldn’t want to fly over it.
Hours passed and before I know it, it is evening. I didn’t stop, nor I planned to through the night.
With the speed, I am going. I should be able to get out of the organisations territory by the last morning, and I don’t want to stop until then.
The spatial travel could be tiring, but this breakthrough had given me a lot of energy.
As long as I maintain this speed, I will be fine.
Soon, it is fully dark, and the sky looks beautiful. At this speed, everything is blurry except for the stars and moons.
It’s midnight, and I moved fast. To be honest, I wanted to stop and land on one of the inhabited islands and sleep under a moonless night, but, of course, I didn’t.
I am in the organisation’s territory; there is no way I will do something like that.
Though I had promised myself that I would do it, this will be a journey that’s going to take time, and besides, I am not in a hurry to reach Taurus.
I have a few plans, and I will finish them before going back to Taurus; that is going to take years.
As I had said before, the journey is important, not the destination; that is just an excuse.
The morning came, and I didn’t stop, even for breakfast. I kept moving until I finally crossed the boundary of the organisation.
There was no clear line marking it, other than the endless sea, but it is clearly noted on the map.
An hour passed, and the space behind the bubble rapidly began to dissolve, with my speed lessening until I stopped.
I looked around until I met the gaze of three cloaked and masked people, who appeared out of nowhere.
