Chapter 1872: 24.133 Sixth Violet Star - I will kill you now!

The conversation between Pei Jin and his main beast was unknown to others but the content of it was chilling. As to be expected from an Evil Beast God, he is asking his own master to kill the father of the Protagonist to stabilize his role as this world’s greatest villain. Normally a boy at the age of Pei Jin would have thought twice of being asked to kill someone. However, the soul inside of that boy’s body is an adult man with a past who had lived his lifetime once. For him, killing is as simple as breathing and he has done it multiple times already.

"Good idea~ It would be better to do it in front of him!"

A madman’s smile appeared on Pei Jin’s face and agreed to the suggestion of his main beast, Ouroboros. He believes that by killing the current marshal, who is also the father of the protagonist, he will be able to get what he wants.

"But isn’t that old man hiding in his little island? Can we even catch him?"

Pei Jin remembered that the marshal is hiding in the military compound even though he didn’t die due to the interference of the old marshal and Mu Patriarch, he is almost at the brink of his death. There is not much difference if he is killed right now or later as he couldn’t have lived for too long.

The Evil Beast God communicated with his master through his thoughts and said, {Don’t worry. He is already on his way here to save his son. There is no need to do something to force him to come out.}

"This is a better situation than I expected," Pei Jin mumbled.

He commanded the undead and said, "Half of you, kill the other humans coming over except for the one leading in front."

The undead didn’t respond and they only followed orders. Half of the original number of the undead that come with Pei Jin had run back to kill the incoming humans who are trying to save these human children. Of course, they also heard the voice command Pei Jin just made.

"Kill the incoming humans? Someone chased after us! Impossible! I told them not to leave the island!?" Long Kian said.

Long Teng commented, "But dad, uncle never listened to your words."

Sigh~

"I should have known how hard headed that fool is," Long Kian grumbles.

He pushed all the children to Heri’s care intending to bring them all inside. However, this did not escape the eyes of the Evil Beast Go, Ouroboros. He immediately told Pei Jin about this attempt. Once the protagonist had gone inside the forest, it would be hard even for an evil beast god like him to get him to come out. After all, someone that can kill him was living in that forest.

Pei Jin had just turned around to give orders and the ones he wanted to kill are now trying to escape.

He turned around with an ugly look as he glared at Long Juedi and the other on his side. He couldn’t help but shout,

"Long Juedi, if you dare come inside those walls I will dismember your father!"

These words were chilling especially when a boy the same age as the children behind them said such cruel words. Long Juedi was so angry that there were tears in the corner of his eyes. Even though he is enraged by Pei Jin’s words, he was so scared that his father would be killed by this bastard whom he doesn’t care at all.

Pei Jin added more fuel to the fire and informed them about the death of the old marshal, Long Huang and Mu Patriarch, Mu Yao.

"By the way, your grandfather, the old marshal, Long Huang and his aide, Mu Yao are already dead. Don’t you know that?~"

At this news, the three from the Long Clan were stunned as they didn’t expect such news. Long Huang and Mu Yao were supposed to be resting in the military compound so unless the island was filled with undead there is no way for these two to die.

Long Juedi shouted, "YOU’RE LYING! GRANDFATHER CANNOT BE DEAD!" His eyes were full of tears as anger was painted all over his face. He even forgot the fear he had for this monster.

Long Teng said, "Dad, that’s a lie, right? There is no way Grandpa is dead!"

"....I don’t... I don’t know!? Teng’er, please don’t ask anymore!" Long Kian recalled the unknown pain in his heart when they were still in the tunnel.

That pain came suddenly for no reason. But the bloodline is stronger than it should be. Long Kian had a feeling that maybe his father was already dead as what this little devil in front of them is talking about. However, he also couldn’t believe it. He doesn’t want to believe it at all!

Long Kian’s changes made the two young boys, Long Teng and Long Juedi, panic. This is the first time they are seeing Long Kian wear such a blank look as if denying reality and they couldn’t hold back their tears at this point.

The former elf king was annoyed by how unreliable this Long Kian is as an adult and hit him on the back of the head.

"Compose yourself! If you break down, who will protect these children!" Vega was so pissed that he couldn’t hold back hitting Long Kian.

Long Kian was surprised at first and looked around to see his son and nephew looking at him crying. Even though he felt that this little devil was not lying about the old marshal’s death, he also as an adult couldn’t break down before these children. If even he fell, who would be able to protect these two least descendants of their Long Clan.

He hugged both Long Teng and Long Juedi and pacified them, "Don’t cry. He is not telling the truth. Don’t listen to him. Don’t listen to the words of a devil."

Seeing this scene, Pei Jin couldn’t help but laugh. The despair of the Long Clan was something he had witnessed and caused in his previous life. Doing it all over again, why won’t he dare?

Pei Jin chuckles, "Hahah~ Do I even need to lie about that? Those two old things died because they wanted to save the current marshal. The leader of the human race! Do you want to know how they die?"

The three members of the Long Clan glared at Pei Jin while Long Kian was trying his best to cover his son and nephew’s ear so they couldn’t hear any nonsense of this devil.

Long Kian chanted, "Don’t listen. Don’t listen. Don’t listen!"

Important things need to be said thrice.

Pei Jin said, "I will tell you how they died~. The Marshal who was about to sacrifice himself to protect the rest of the weak humans on that island was about to get killed only to be pulled back by the two old men and take his place. Of course! Those two tough old things didn’t want to get eaten. So do you know what they did?"

"Hahaha~ they are so smart copying what I had done before. They had strapped countless bombs around them and suicide by explosion."

"Dammit! They’ve killed too much of my toys(undead)."

"However, thanks to that they didn’t even leave behind a single bone. Much less ashes. Hahaha~ It’s so long and hilarious to watch it happen."

The tears on the three members of the Long Clan can no longer be held back. Though they have an inkling that maybe the grandfather (father) is dead. Who would have thought they had to die so miserably that they had to prepare a funeral with an empty coffin.

Long Juedi was dazed as his memories with his grandfather flashes within his mind. From when he first met his grandfather, to the times he accompanied him to play when he was a child. His grandfather’s sad smile when he lost his leg, his joy when he got it back and the things he was cuddling within that warmth.

Now that the old marshal is gone, there will be no one to protect him from his father. No one to spoil him and his brother, Long Teng. No one to secretly teach them beast taming and all. Nothing at all. After all, their grandfather, Long Huang is now dead.

He died even before he recovered from his assassination. He left even before they last saw him. He is now gone even before they can go home. No more. They no longer have a grandfather.

Thinking about this anger fills Long Juedi’s eyes as he glares at Pei Jin as if he is an enemy he needs to kill to ease the pain stabbing his heart.

He shouted, "Pei Jin, I’m going to kill you! I swear that you will die by my hands!"

Hahaha~

Pei Jin laughs as he retorts, "Do you think you will even get that chance? I came here to kill you now!"
