Chapter 1947: 24.208 Sixth Violet Star - Portal and Chaos

Beast Tamer Academy’s Gymnasium.

In accordance to the wager between F-Class and the classes of A and B, the to lose the individual matches on the day of the school competition would now need to be fulfilled. With the students of F-Class winning, the other group was given a choice, either to apologize to the students of F-Class in public or be expelled. This is the wager of the students A-Class and B-Class before the matches between the three classes began. They ended up miserably though, without even one winning from their side.

Even though the class leader of A-Class is against doing a public apology, he still appeared the next day. To his classmates from the same class it’s the same as making a choice. There are also the students from Class B, unlike the class A with one opposition, everyone from Class B had seen enough that day and accepted the fact that the F-Class might be as powerful as the Genius Class they all revered.

Now all students of Class A and Class B had gathered on the stage and this includes one who is in opposition to this public apology. Since the class leader of Class A didn’t stand in front to begin their speech, the class leader of Class B had taken over. Unlike the Class A who still believes that the Class F is below them, this Class B was willing to accept defeat.

"Today we had gathered here today for the students of both Class A and Class B to complete the wager after our loss. We now stand before everyone and would like to ask the students of F-Class to please accept our apology. We had done wrong. We apologize for the actions we had made. We are sorry for everything!"

Everyone from Class A and Class B lowered their heads while on stage. Among the the on who appeared to be out of place is the class leader of Class A. While his classmates are all bowing their heads, he looks at them with disdain as if questioning them for their pride if it even existed.

Everyone from Class F were on guard upon seeing the action of the class leader of Class A. Cao Wanji and others knew that someone this sinister would never lower his back to apologize to the people he looked down on.

They heard him say as he walked on the stage, "Prideless bastards! You allow someone as lowly to look down on you. How embarassing!"

He stood on the stage and looked down on the students of F-Class. He smirked and said, "You want this young master to apologize to you? In your dreams, retards~"

He threw the spatial stone on the ground after pouring his qi in it. It is just that this stone had absorbed not only all his qi but also his life force. As the stone left his hand, his face instantly turned to that of an old man with drying skin. The Class Leader of A-Class didn’t notice anything was wrong except until he noticed the shocked expression of everyone in the area.

Though most adults were staring at the stone that disappeared in the ground, the visible aging of this one student who threw the stone caught everyone’s eyes.

"W-What are you looking at me like that? Don’t look at me like that!"

The students move around and bump on one female student, a compact mirror fell on the ground and the class leader of Class A was shocked upon seeing his reflection. Wrinkled skin as if a drying tree bark, his immature features were now long gone and even his vibrant black hair had turned white as snow completely lifeless.

"Who... Who the hell... is this?!"

"No... No! This is not me!!"

The student was so shocked as he tried to touch his face upon gazing at the reflection and was finally terrified. It was only now that he realized that the reason he feels weaker is because that stone had sucked everything in him. He scrambled to pick the stone he threw but it had long disappeared and a space portal appeared in exchange for it. Moreover, it grew larger as the figure of the student who summoned the portal got older.

They watch as the student was sucked through the portal and his agonizing screams resound in the whole gymnasium leaving an eerie atmosphere in the whole area. Once the screams ended, a huge portal appeared which left dread to the adults in the area who recognized it.

"Students! Run! Run out of this place!"

"The beast will be coming out of this portal soon!"

AHHHHH!!

Panic and chaos befall inside the gymnasium and the students suffered from a stampede. With those weaker students getting stomped on as the others run. Before chaos befall, Long Juedi had planned with his classmate to elevate themselves from the crowd, preventing the others from getting them involved. Xue Laira asked his Elemental Emperor, Grandpa Tree, to use his branches to make a huge canopy hanging on the ceiling of the gymnasium. Some had copied them while the others still ran.

HOWLS~

It was only when beast roars coming from the portal had been heard and the appearance of large wolves started coming out from the open portal that everyone in the gymnasium felt what real fear is. These are wild beasts from the barren land.

Long Juedi commented, "Silver wolf packs. These are silver ranked beasts that move in groups and hunt in groups."

"How come there are too many!?" Nangong Rui said in surprise.

Nan Jiang said with a serious look, "There is more than one pack and upon seeing their prey run gets them excited."

"Don’t run. You will be targeted if you run!" Haerin shouted.

But almost immediately Long Juedi covered her mouth. Shouting like this in the middle of the beast will allow those beast to notice them elevated above and get more. After all, they are stuck above without any way to leave.

Long Juedi said, "Don’t shout, Hae’er."

However, it was too late as Haerin’s shouting had caught the attention of some wolves below them.

Hei Cao Wanji, now named Cao Heiji, said, "They already noticed. We need to make a plan on how to get down with getting eaten."

"I can try putting them to sleep," Cao Wanji said. "Brother, if I fall asleep, pick me up."

Cao Heiji nods his head. "Leave it to me."

"I can protect everyone with branches as we descend. But during the landing I had no means to do so without getting everyone unharmed," Xue Laira said.

Nangong Rui said, "I can make a slide but we have to be fast as it might get broken by those wolves as we went down."

"Xiao Rui focused on the slide and made sure it would not break with one hit. The rest of us will support you and prevent everyone from getting attacked on our way down." Long Juedi said.

While everyone from F-Class was making a plan, some wolves had already targeted them. They waited below while some wolves jumped to bite on the branches which they stood on. The shaking made their balance a bit off but with the support of their classmates none of them fell.

Nan Jiang said, "Dammit! They are biting on the branches!"

"Xiao Rui, make the slide now!" Long Juedi commanded.

Nangong Rui called his Xiao Lan, the newly born elemental emperor and said, "Xiao Lan, A slide makes one! We need to go down from here! Make it sturdy!"

{Master, I can just freeze everyone in this place.}

"You can’t!!" Everyone from F-Class said.

Xue Laira said, "Lan’er, no. There are still friends among the beasts."

{Can’t Xiao Lan just freeze the beast then?}

"Can you not freeze the beast with contracts?" Nangong Rui asked.

{Eh? No. I can freeze every beast but to choose a few I can’t control my powers that precise yet.}

Haerin said, "It’s alright, Xiao Lan. Don’t be sad. The slide itself is enough."

Seeing the kind brothers and sisters not getting angry at her for being unable to control her powers made her relieved. It was truly hard for her to control her ice lately. Maybe because of the ice energy she got from Senior Eternal Ice that she can barely control it. But making a slide made of ice is simple for her.

Under everyone’s gaze, a huge slide appeared in thin air which is connected to the canopy they were standing on just now. Seeing the slide, all the students and beasts’ attention were caught by it. Under Long Juedi’s lead everyone from Class F had jumped down.

Some wolves had jumped on the slide wanting to attack them only to slide down due to the angle. There are some smart wolves that used their claws to cling on the ice slide. But the ice which made the slide is too hard for their claws. Failing to claw on the slide, they fell down. In the end, they became smart and waited at the end of the slide waiting for their food (humans) to slide down.
