He stood at the walls and looked at the beast coming for the wall like an executioner that held a sword hanging around their necks. Most beasts had halted their march and avoided the range of General Gu Ying’s range of attack. From the walls, General Gu Ying’s range of attack is at least hundred of meters from where he is standing. Once he had merged with his beast, a Kamaitachi, his range was doubled. He is the very reason why these walls around the land of the humans continue to stand.

Meanwhile at the distance, the sleeping black lion had finally woke up. It looked in the direction where the human commander stood blocking all the beast on his path. He continues to wave his swords as if cutting the incoming beasts like vegetables.
