Chapter 1975: 24.236 Sixth Violet Star - Mission Complete

Moving in the darkness, everyone chose to closely follow the route of the Ninetailed Fox Beastman, Lord Huzi. Under the protection of the shadow curtain under the control of the three dark elves, their journey towards the other race’s gathering spot was unhindered. Lord Huzi was the first to spread his qi to check the location where the beast commander was staying. According to the report from the soldiers at the barracks the enemy’s commander is supposed to be a black lion. However, Ninetailed fox Beastman Huzi couldn’t find any traces of the black lion. Instead, the strongest presence in this area is a huge python.

He used a noise isolation barrier and had a meeting with his group.

"The black lion in the report is no longer here. He might have been replaced. The strongest beast in this area is now a Beast Emperor Grade Python. This is definitely our target. However, I would only be the one who would kill the python. As for you five, you need to sneak into the area and kill as many powerful beasts in this location."

"Work in pairs. The solo one will secure our escape route. I use a flare to signify retreat. When that happens you should retreat. Do not wait for me. Leave as soon as possible."

"Do not forget not to leave traces and don’t spread your scent. Remain calm and if you are blocked by someone strong you may use this."

Lord Huzi gave the five some explosive talisman made by his youngest son. It had an explosion and paralysis. Though the effect isn’t that strong it should be effective as long as it was used well. The five subordinates he had brought had all listened to their task well.

"Initiate mission!"

The group split according to the task. Huzi sneaked to the largest area where the huge python was sleeping. In his human form, Huzi didn’t need to worry about getting caught. He knew that snakes are capable of finding presences with his tongue. He hid not only his trace but also his breathing, he temporarily halted his breathing as he approached the sleeping snake. As expected, it didn’t even wake up as he stood close to its face.

The first thing he did as he got closer was to blind the huge python and pull out the tongue of the snake. He used his claws to stab through the python’s eyes and this caused a huge commotion after it had screamed in pain.

The Ninetailed Fox Beastman Huzi didn’t waste this opportunity, the moment the huge python had opened its mouth, it grabbed its tongue and pulled it out without hesitation and jumped away. Holding the metal spear he took out from his space accessory, he used it to stab at the Snake’s tail and limb. He nailed half of the snake’s body to the ground.

The huge python struggles but the pain of losing his tongue and two eyes made his senses blurred. Though the sheer power of it moving its head around destroyed the area. Lord Huzi stood at the highest peak of the stone formation in the area watching the huge python struggles. He watched at the far distance where the main territory of the beast race stood. He noticed someone was watching him. It was the black lion who was jailed and dismissed for failing his mission to break down the walls in the alliance’s territory.

With chains on his neck and four limbs, the black lion sneered. He can still remember the disdainful expression of the python before he was taken away. He had warned him that the leader on the other side had been replaced and that he must take care of security at night. However, he didn’t tell him that the Beast God had arrived at the borders.

For the beast race, the most feared individual is the beast god. They feared and revered him. But the Beast God, Mo Minkong chose not to rule over them which made them both happy yet uneasy. Such a powerful existence living among them like a sleeping dragon would make them worry when this sleeping one would wake up and prey on them.

This fear only faded when the Beast God left the Barren Land to live in the Ancient Forest. As if replacing him, the four strongest Beast Kings had taken over the limited fertile area in the Barren Land. The forest was peaceful till then, that was until the Evil Beast God and that cruel human tamer of his took over their land. They are powerless.

The former four beast king almost died and suddenly disappeared one day. Their lands were seized by Pei Jin and the Evil Beast God, Ouroboros. That was the beginning of their nightmare. Every week, that evil human, Pei Jin would grab beasts within the land. It was unknown what happened to them but they could hear their painful screams all night which terrified the beast race. However, they are too powerless to fight back.

One had an Evil beast god as his powerful backing while they, even if they gather as a group , can never defeat a god. That’s why they can only feel under their control. The weak ones are preyed upon and taken to the laboratory by Pei Jin. As for the rest, they tried to hide for a while but when their hunger reached its peak they could only come out. Some unlucky one would die or be captured. That’s when the Barren land becomes hell even for the beast race.

Who would have thought that the lunatic, Pei Jin would get a result from his laboratory which can greatly increase the strength of these beasts. The most successful one can even get a strength equal to that of a Beast King without getting crazy. Most beasts had succumbed to madness and were killed by their own kind. Even so for strength alone, the beast surrendered under the reign of Pei Jin and the evil beast god, Ouroboros. That’s how the beast begins to change.

Lord Ouroboros helped them increase their intelligence and taught them how to fight a war. Those who have learned well will become beast commanders. The Black lion and the huge python were among those who had mutated well.

Each Beast Commander was given a mission for this war. The black lion’s mission is to destroy the walls that separated the fertile land and the barren lands. The black lion failed and he was captured to be sent to the laboratory for correction. It was a huge python who took over his place.

It’s just that these beasts didn’t expect that the other side would send assassins at night targeting the beast commander. If the commander is still the black lion then Lord Huzi would have taken a more careful plan. But because this huge python is so careless that his ending is like this, blinded and even lost his tongue.

The thrashing in the area, Lord Huzi, watched it coldly. He knew that the python must have gotten so angry with pain and uselessness. Some beasts who tried to calm him down were smashed by the Beast commander himself and they were killed on the spot. The other subordinates of Lord Huzi who came with him had scattered in the area killing as many beasts as they could. He bought some time for them until he noticed that the huge cage where the black lion is jailed was slowly getting destroyed by the one inside.

Seeing this the Ninetailed Fox beastmen felt that things were already successful and there is no need to be greedy. He lit a flare to signal for the other five to retreat as he initiated the killing of the huge python. He jumped down on the stone formation and transformed into a huge silver haired ninetailed fox. He stomped and restrained the struggling python and under everyone’s gaze he bit off its neck.

After letting out a howl, Lord Huzi looked at the direction of the cage and used ice to slow down the Black Lion’s escape.

Then he transforms back to his human form and retreat to the location where his subordinates had left through and leave the place without hesitation. After they retreated the black lion covered in a bit of frost appeared and looked at the dead corpse of the huge python and oversaw the destruction in the area. He was enraged and roared in anger. The black lion beast commander couldn’t believe that because someone else had taken over his position that the beast race would take such a lost.

He look at the dead body of the useless commander who took his place but failed to protect their group and cut him more into piece.

"Useless thing! If you hadn’t jailed me this wouldn’t havehappened!"

The black lion enrage roars echoed in the dark barren land scaring the rest of the beasts who didn’t get killed. In the end, the beast had suffered a lot of lost tonight and the black lion had to return to the main habitat to report to the Evil Beast God, Ouroboros what happened that night. Everyone had seen the sudden appearance of the gorgeous silver fox, that instant killed the Beast Commander Python that night. The beasts were also powerless when their leader is killed.

Ouroboros mumbles, "A silver haired Ninetailed Fox. That should be the leader of the Beastmen race who possessed the bloodline of a divine beast. As well as the mate of your former Beast God, Mo Minkong."
