Chapter 1992: 24.253 Sixth Violet Star - Underground

With the four lightbulbs finally out of the house, and elders worrying about the couple finally having the house all on their own. The couple looked at one another and then smiled at one another. It only took a second for the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness to lift the God of Destruction in his embrace and head upstairs where the master’s bedroom is located. They stayed there for an unknown period of time.

Meanwhile at the alliance city...

After the former elf king, Lord Vega and the dwarf prince, Gallian had left the ancient forest, the latter showed the new route that the dwarf prince had chosen for them to pass through. This route was located underground and through a secret way that dwarves had made before the alliance city was complete. Lord Vega didn’t expect that this secret passageway was located near the ancient forest. If not for the wooden walls, it would be easy to stowaway people through this route. Just thinking about this made Lord Vega’s mood a bit bad.

"This route better not exist after the alliance city was made. Otherwise, this will be considered a breach in another race’s territory and this also meant that the dwarven race had overstepped their boundaries." Lord Vega said to the dwarf prince who had visibly trembled under these words.

Dwarf Prince Gallian said, "Please don’t get angry. These routes were secretly extended to your lands after the chaos had broken through. Otherwise,we have no other way to contact your side. When he found the source, Lord Vega unexpectedly met the eyes of the current marshal, Lord Gu Ying who suddenly looked up. But for Lord Vega this eye meeting seems to see through one another and he immediately cancelled the spell that let him be one with the wind.

Because former elf king Vega abruptly deactivated the spell, he had suffered a bit of a backlash and coughed blood startling the young dwarf prince who was with him.

Dwarf Prince Gallian asked, "Lord Vega?! Blood? Are you alright!?"

A few minutes after the two had taken off, the secret area underground was suddenly buried under when the ones aboveground had destroyed that area. The whole place collapsed as they made a hole from above. The passages the dwarf race made were made to collapse easily when an entrance was forcibly created from above. Only by entering the right entrances will they be able to walk through these complicated routes which most of them were full of death traps.

After reaching a certain distance from their initial location, Lord Vega and the Dwarf Prince, Gallian heard the sound of collapsing not far from them. The face of the former elf king turned dark and had an expression as if he had expected this result. On the other hand, the young dwarf prince’s face had turned pale upon hearing this sound. He knew that this sound meant that someone had forcibly created an entrance that they had found the route they had passed through just now. This means that the military already knew that there are hidden passages underground.

Dwarf Prince Gallian said, "T-They know... The military finally knows about the hidden routes!"

"Calm down! I know that your race created secret routes with more fakes than real ones. You shouldn’t worry about being caught at this point. Let’s hurry before more passage were destroyed by them." Lord Vega said.

Dwarf Prince Gallian lost his fear when he heard his seniors’ words. It wasn’t like his fear had disappeared. It’s just that his trust towards his race’s work was full of trust. He believes the works of his elders will not be easily broken by their enemies.

He said, "Please me down senior. I will control the terrain so we can find the shortest path possible to reach our destination."

The former elf king had placed him down and watched as the young prince kneel on the ground with his two hands on the ground surrounded by earth elements as he starts chanting. Under this spell, the terrain around them started to change. The paths that used to be there had started to morphed into one path alone and this path seems to lead further underground and they only need to slide down for quite a long time until they reach the end.

Dwarf Prince Gallian pulled out an artifact which morphed into a sled-like shape enough to fit two people. Not only cushion there is also an effect of less shaking and impact.

Seeing that it was a bit small, the young dwarf summoned a fire type beast that breathes flames and made changes on the spot so this artifact can accommodate someone of Lord Vega’s size. The two sat on the sled and under the control of the young dwarf prince, they had slid through the only slide-like tunnel created by the terrain spell Prince Gallian had controlled. As soon as they passed through the tunnel the terrain had once again reverted to its original state with three fake entrances. Lord Vega was quite amazed by this kind of formation-like spell. After passing through the slide tunnel, the journey of the two become unhindered.

The new marshal, Lord Gu Ying who had just met the eyes of Lord Vega slightly lifted the corner of his lips as if he smiled yet this lasted only for a split making it seem unreal. When he lowered his head, he looked at his adjutant and gave a command out of nowhere.

Marshal Gu Ying said, "Dig through this area."

None of the soldiers had asked a question and just followed their marshal’s command. They started digging in the area either by manual or through the help of their beasts. With such a large number of people doing the task it didn’t take a while for a hole to be made. A soldier checked through the small hall and saw a hidden path underneath. They were startled and amazed as they turned their heads to look at their new leader.

"Lord Marshal, a path was found underneath!" The soldier reported.

Hearing this report the new marshal only nodded his head and issued another order.

"Focus on one point and create an entrance for us to investigate. This path might lead us to where those traitorous races are hiding. Be careful!" Lord Gu Ying said.

The soldiers saluted and followed the command. They’ve started digging through one point trying to widen the hole. Who would have thought that when the size of the hole had reached the size big enough for a human to enter, a crack suddenly appeared and spread before the soldiers could react. The land under them had immediately collapsed.

Seeing this scene, Marshal Gu Ying remains calm, "As expected, it won’t be easy to chase after those rats."
