Chapter 2001: 24.262 Sixth Violet Star - Dwarf Race’s Ending

Confronted by the words of Elf Vera, the Elder Dwarfs were even more enraged than before, staring at the elf who speaks up the darkness within their hearts. King Vega, to protect his pregnant mate, chose him over his race and decided to leave. The plan was for him to abdicate the throne and give it to Vera who was next after him in power. Who would have thought that the elder elves would use the excuse of Vera helping him to send him to prison. Moreover, Vega who came out wanting to bring away Vera the second time he sneakily returned didn’t agree to leave with him. After all, it is impossible for just two people who sneak a whole quarter of the elf’s population with them. That time Lord Vega still didn’t have the backing of the beastmen race.

Meanwhile the elves who are witnessing the confrontations between the elders and Lord Vera made them nervous. They were staring at each other as if they wanted to eat one another.

However, before the elves on his side were able to move, Lord Vera had already controlled the trees in the area. It can be said that his control over nature is much more powerful than Lord Vega who rules the wind.

Every root within the territory had come out from the land and restrained the elves and the elders. Seeing this Elf Vera commanded his group to leave as soon as possible.

"Move out!" Lord Vera shouted as the elves behind him had all run out towards the opened path behind them.

Lord Vera came out last and closed the path after them. This is to ensure no one can chase after them and prevent intruders from finding the path to their territory. Though they were leaving they had no thoughts of putting the other in harm. They are still of the same race and putting them in danger just for their own selfishness is a sin Elf Vera didn’t want to bear.

Meanwhile, seeing Elf Vera and his group escaping, the elder elves were all insane in anger but cannot do anything about it.

On the other hand at the dwarven underground kingdom...

The human race under the command of the new human marshal, the military dig everything around the city trying to find the remnant of the dwarf race. Right now the human race sees all other races than themselves as enemies. Even forgetting the fact that right now the one in leading and is protecting the borders is someone from the beastmen race and not of their human race.

What they didn’t know was that most of the current leader figure of their race and fallen under the control of their beloved commander who in reality was never hero who wanted to protect them but wanted to use them as cannon fodder for the destruction of the world.

"Captain, how long do we need to keep digging?"

"We’ve been doing this for weeks."

"Are those dwarfs truly living underground?"

"Didn’t they say, they would never live in such a place?"

The captain who was under the control the marshal, glare at his soldiers and said,

"Are you questioning a military order from the Marshal himself!? Since the Marshal said they are underground then they must be! Keep digging!!"

"Yes Sir!"

The soldiers who couldn’t go against the orders of their superior had no other choice but to keep digging until they found a hole that leads below like a slide that they reported to their superior.

"Captain, we found a hole that leads further underground. This might be an entrance!"

"Go send some scouts in. Check if there is a kingdom at the end of this path!"

"Yes sir!"

Under the command of their captain a small group of scouts upon securing their way back up had jumped down into that slide without hesitation. Some had underestimated the depths of the tunnel and got their back flesh ripped as they slid along the way down. Seeing this ending most of the soldiers had merged with their beast for a stronger physical body so they wouldn’t suffer much as they slid down.

Upon reaching the end of the tunnel, more than half of the small group had died. However, those who had survived had successfully found the entrance to the dwarf kingdom upon seeing the stone door. The existence of this stone door alone was enough proof to say that something is living underground. The scouts upon returning to the surface reported what happened to their superior while their captain immediately reported to the marshal about the path they found.

The marshal upon hearing the report immediately gave an order,

"Exterminate the Dwarf Race!"

Under Marshal Gu Ying’s command, the soldiers had all assembled and gathered in the open area. Though not most humans agree to the extermination of the dwarf race no one openly voices any disagreement either. After all, in such a group being among the minority in such a chaotic situation, you would be beaten down or erased by the majority.

That night the dwarf race who was peacefully living their lives was suddenly attacked by the human soldiers. As soon as soldiers burst out from the stone wall which is the only entrance to their kingdom, the ordinary dwarves who were near it were all killed by them. As for the Dwarf King, elder dwarves and officials, they started issuing commands to escape while most remaining dwarf warriors were blocking the human soldiers.

However, how can they fight against the humans who possess the largest population among all races? Their number alone is such a disadvantage. Just this fact alone was enough to overwhelm the dwarf race. Upon seeing this scene, the elder dwarves all regret not leaving with the representative of the beastmen race. They shouldn’t be too biased by the fact that Lord Vega is an elf who they felt hatred for. Upon witnessing the deaths of their friends, relatives and family, they can only carry their weapons like a madman and pull back their king and his loyalist.

"Your Majesty! You must leave."

"We will buy you some time!"

"Seek help to the beastmen race and take revenge for us!"

"What are the elders talking about? This king can’t leave!" Dwarf King Garan exclaimed.

"Your majesty, this ending is our, these old men’s fault. You are not allowed to die. The queen and your children are still waiting for you."

"Please amend our sin!"

"We will block them for you! Leave!"

"Live and avenge us!!"

"Take the king away!!"

Seeing the serious expression on the face of the elders, the loyalist of the king dragged away their king and escaped. Leaving all the elders and their faction to remain and block the humans who wanted to all exterminate their race. The Elder Dwarves in their full armor sacrifice their lifespan just to summon an elemental emperor to support them in their last battle.

"Brothers! It’s time for us to leave! But... Let’s drag all our enemies down to hell with us!"

A war cry came from the dwarfs as they summoned huge golems creating a wall that prevents humans from chasing after their king. Even though blood stroll down from their eyes, noses and ears. The dwarfs laughed at the last moment. They used Berserk skill, killing almost half of the human soldiers who had come to their kingdom and used their bodies as walls to block their enemies. Seeing this determination, the Elemental Emperor of the Earth Gaia pitied them and created a wall that fully blocked the human race and gave a solace for the death dwarves to rest.

Elemental Emperor Gaia waved his hand and said, {You humans are not allowed to trample on the bodies of these proud warriors. Leave!}

With the wall blocking their paths, the humans had no other choice but to retreat back to the surface. They choose to find another path to chase after the runaways from the dwarf race. Since they can no longer hide underground, they can only go to the surface.

After the humans retreated, the Elemental Emperor of the Earth Gaia watched the dead bodies of the race he liked and even though their endings are sorrowful it was still dignified.

Sigh~

{The destruction of the Mortal Realm is about to begin. However, without the permission from the Elemental God, there is nothing that we can do.}

With a wave of the Elemental Emperor’s hands. All dead bodies were buried underground with tombstones erected above. This is the last thing he can do for these deceased warriors.
