Chapter 2022: 24.283 Sixth Violet Star - Beyond the Split Sky

Elf Vera who had just recently woke up was asked by his king, Lord Vega about what happened to them that day. It was the very same day that huge finger had appeared out of nowhere and was seen by almost everyone in the mortal realm. With the location of the finger appearing to be where Elf Vera and the Dwarf King Garan were found, only they will be able to explain what had truly happened that day.

"My King, I also couldn’t understand what truly happened that day. To be explained in one word, it was surreal. Unless you have seen it with your own eyes you might not believe what Garan and I had seen that day," Elf Warrior Captain Vera said.

The former elf king, Lord Vega wears a serious expression on his face. Just based on these few words from his subordinate, whatever happened that day when that hand appeared doesn’t seem to be simple. Only Elf Vera had recently woke, but he didn’t have his own family and as such they can only leave his well being to the shamans of the tribe while they are working.

Lord Vega let out a helpless sigh upon hearing the details from his subordinate. Even though he is no longer their king, just the fact that they used to be loyal to him, makes it hard for Lord Vega and Prophet Heri to ignore them. To save their lives, they can only let them inside the forest.

"You are too reckless but... You have done well. Don’t you know that after you have left the elven kingdom was found by the humans and exterminated them like they have done with the dwarfs?" Lord Vega said.

Elf Vera was stunned by this news. He thought that the kingdom was exposed because of them and felt guilt for causing the extermination of the Elven Kingdom. His face, which was already pale, turned bloodless and he felt cold all over.

Prophet Heri upon seeing his situation said, "Are you alright, Vera? Do you want me to call a shaman for you?"

Maybe if he hesitated or at least one of the messages he left was read by his king, they would have most likely stayed in the elven kingdom waiting for Lord Vega to come himself.

But those letters, none of it had reached their king. Because of this situation, they decided to take the risk and look for their king. It seems this gamble with their lives, he had won it.

The former elf king asked, "So what happened and how did you meet with this brat from the dwarven race? I doubt that you would have helped them after what they had done."

"We met them on our way to the ancient forest. I choose to help them because of their state. The guarded and uncontrollable hatred within their eyes, it made me realize that maybe something had happened in their kingdom. After hearing the full story of their kingdom’s downfall, I pitied them and chose to bring them with us to the ancient forest to meet their family."
