After finishing what they came for, and seeing that their children had once again left, Lord Huzi and Lord Mo Minkong’s mood were a bit down. It’s been a while since they had seen their son. Even though it was only for a short time, they enjoyed seeing the two of them. Just not being together made them feel a bit in a bad mood. With how the situation is in the mortal realm, once they return, they will have to continue fighting against the beastmen again. However, they cannot stop. Once they do, these beasts would enter their land and take over their homes.

With the unclear situation at the Alliance city, the beastmen leader and his mate, the beast god didn’t know what choice they should make. A choice that will not make things worse and an ending that will allow their race not to be exterminated by the enemies. They also didn’t want to place themselves in danger, after all once they were in danger their children would most likely have to appear again.

Appearing in the Divine realm is still acceptable. The villains were hiding in the Mortal realm after all. They had also just appeared as avatars and not their real body which didn’t affect the world plot much. But now they must return, they couldn’t actually let their souls be separated from their bodies for too long.

The Ninetailed Beastman Lord Huzi says, "Mom, Dad, it’s time for us to return."

"Any longer and we are worried that our vessels might be harmed at the borders," The Beast God Mo Minkong said.

Hearing these, the Ninetailed Fox Goddess and the Tiger God decided to watch the children descend at the gates. Even though they wanted to descend with their children, without preparations, they would not be able to do so. The mortal realm is too fragile for gods to descend into. They will still need to ask for permission with their ruler and appeal to the Heavenly Laws.

Only with the permission of the wills of the heavens would a divinity be able to descend in the mortal realm. Special cases of god like the Beast God Mo Minkong is an exception. His duty is to keep the mortal realm safe and protect the Chaos Flower Garden which is forbidden by the heavens to be touched by both mortals and gods. For this reason alone, Mo Minkong was allowed to remain in the mortal realm as a god.

There is also another case when a god descends in the mortal realm. One is to complete their trials and the second is to expand their bloodline. Lord Huzi and Prophet Heri being children of the Ninetailed Fox Goddess is an example of this case. They are children born from a god and a mortal. Through trials on the mortal realm they would have a chance to ascend as a god as well. Their divine bloodline is a privilege only those who had connection to the Divine realm can have.

It is for this reason alone while Lord Huzi is the most powerful within his race and why Prophet Heri is capable of foreseeing the future. Of course, they aren’t the only ones. The Long Clan is actually the descendants of the Holy Dragon God. It’s just that their blood has been so diluted that they can no longer transform into dragons. Their compatibility with light elements come from this bloodline. That’s why they are able to sign contracts with light element beasts.

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess said, "Alright. We will accompany you at the gates."

"Wait for us to complete our preparations. We will descend as fast as we can," the Tiger God said.

At the divine realm’s gates...

The two flood dragons didn’t expect to see the Ninetailed Fox Goddess and her husband, the Tiger God seeing off the four new gods who had visited their realm. Lord Huzi and Mo Minkong had bid their farewells to their parents while Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang were watching over them from a distance. Since the Holy Dragon God already knew that Huzi is just a demigod, they didn’t hide it anymore as the Holy Dragon God himself had already informed the realm about the reason for their arrival. They only come here to report about their discovery about the foreign gods which are also their enemies who wanted to destroy their worlds.

Seeing the family of four hugging at the gates the two flood dragon guards didn’t speak up after being fooled into letting a demigod enter the divine realm. They weren’t punished as well so they didn’t truly feel dislike towards the small demigod fox.

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess said to her son, "Zi’er, your younger brother. Tell him not to look into the future too much. There are too many futures he mustn’t see or the backlash he would suffer would be bad as well. Keep him reminded okay?"

"I will tell Heri, Mom. You and Dad should take care. We are alright below," lord Huzi said.

The Tiger God was talking to his son-in-law, "Minkong, our sons please take care of them. If we are fast we should be descending in a week or a month if we are slow. If danger can’t truly be avoided just take away your families and come here."

"Father, that is..." The Beast God Mo Minkong didn’t expect to hear such words from a god.

After all, the gods of this world exist to keep it from existing. If there is truly a case when he and Vega had no other choice but to bring their families away from the mortal realm. It meant that the mortal realm had already fallen and they could only seek protection from the divine realm.

The Tiger God said, "This is the worst case scenario."

Upon noticing the serious expression on his father-in-law’s face, Mo Minkong responded just as a son and not as a god who has responsibility to the world. The Beast God understood his father’s meaning. In face of world destruction, it is better to be together as a family than fight against the odds where there isn’t any chance of winning. The Tiger God chooses his family instead of the world. Like how the God of Destruction would choose his loved one over everything else.

The Beast God, Mo Minkong responded, "I understand, father!"

The Tiger God pats the Beast God’s back and this conversation was only something the two of them had heard. As for their wives, they are having a conversation on their own.

Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang approached the couple and told them that it was time. Their souls cannot be separated from their bodies for too long, much less to be exposed to the divinity within the divine realm. The problem is Lord Huzi is still part mortal and his soul cannot bear too much pressure. His stay is time limited and it was almost up.

System Yue or the Moon God, Zhi Yue had spoken. "I’m sorry but it’s time to return. Your vessels will not hold on for much longer."

Lord Huzi and Beast God Mo Minkong knew the seriousness of the situation. If something happened to their vessels while their souls were out, it would be extremely dangerous for them. Once their bodies are gone, they can only be considered as dead.

After the farewell, the two systems didn’t hesitate to use the space portal to instantly return to the borders. This is the fastest way for them to come back. It took a few seconds for Lord Huzi and Mo Minkong to once again wake up in their physical bodies. As soon as they return, they can feel the gravity dragging them back to the earth and feel that they are unexpectedly heavier than before. This is just one of the backlash they had to suffer from after returning to their bodies.

Beast God Mo Minkong can actually enter the divine realm with his real body. But because Lord Huzi can only go as a soul, he decided to come with just his soul as well. This way the connection between the two of them would be through their souls making it safer for Lord Huzi to pretend as a god.

"My body feels so heavy~" The Ninetailed Beastman Lord Huzi complains while laying on the couch like a boneless thing.

The Beast God Mo Minkong helps his mate massage his body with his qi. This would help the soul of Huzi to match his body faster to lessen the effect of his soul in his body. He knew that with Huzi’s soul being exposed with divine energy also helped his soul strengthen but because of this the burden on his body was quite heavy as well.

Mo Minkong said, "Hu’er, you will need to strengthen your body. Your soul was enhanced after our visit in the divine realm."

"Eh~ can’t I do it tomorrow? I’m so tired now," said Lord Huzi as one can see how drowsy he was at this moment until he finally fell asleep on the couch.

Seeing this the Beast God can only carry him to their rooms and let him sleep the rest of the day so his soul can adjust to his body after being separated for too long.

Zhi Yang waited for Mo Minkong to come out of the bedroom and said, "There are people waiting outside the door. It seems they wish to see the commander."

"We didn’t let them in and pretended that we were in a meeting , that’s why the door was locked. These are the memories I replaced in their minds. You can use this excuse as well," Zhi Yue sai.

Beast God Mo Minkong said, "Thank you. I will go see them now."
