When the Spirit God recognized him, the Marshal, Gu Ying remained unmoved even after noticing his anger. He just commanded his people to attack the barrier around the ancient forest including the wooden towering walls around it. The more blood this rose vines drinks, the budding roses turn gorgeous silver.

The attack on the ancient forest temporarily halted when the Spirit God had descended. On the other hand, Marshal Gu Ying remained calm even after he had witnessed his subordinates being massacred by the God of all spirits. Spirit God Thorn glared at him once more before entering the ancient forest. As for the corpses beyond the wooden walls they had just become the source of blood for the black thorny silver roses that the Spirit God had left behind.

Seeing the Spirit God had entered the ancient forest, Beast God Mo Minkong and his mate, Demigod Ninetail Fox Beastmen, Lord Huzi had also retreated. They didn’t want to waste time talking to their enemies as they had a lot of things to resolve at the borders. When the Demigod Pei Jun had spoken about the ruined alliance city everyone in the mortal realm had heard about it and this includes the soldiers protecting the borders, which now caused chaos in place.

Seeing the two retreats, the other two gods had also slowly disappeared. The towering presences in air had all disappeared as if it had never appeared in the first place. However, the final war had now begun. With Marshal Gu Ying initiating an attack on the ancient forest, Evil Beast God Lord Ouroboros and his contracted human, Pei Jun also decided to send the beast race to attack the borders. They had also heard the content of their conversation. The fact that the alliance city is no more. The almost extinction of the Elven and Dwarven races as well as the fact that the current Marshal being a villain or a monster who had stolen the real Marshal’s identity.

Of course, the humans under the protection of Marshal Gu Ying had also heard the conversation between the gods. They were shocked to learn that their leader was not a human but just some kind of being wearing the body of Marshal Gu Ying. They were all stunned and just as they woke up in reality and decided to escape this damn place, the control of hypnotism on them had all activated. They had all lost their control over their bodies and like puppets all they can do is follow the control of the one who held the authority over them.

The human race didn’t expect that the one who they thought had saved them was the very man who had ruined their alliance city, making them lose their homes and destroy their lives. Controlled against their will, the human race couldn’t help shed tears. Their bodies are controlled and they can only watch themselves fight for the enemies even though they never wanted to.

As soon as the projections of the divinities had faded, a lot of soldiers had come to the place where their commanders were staying. The commotion at the borders had caused a lot of injuries as they inquired about the real situation of the alliance city. To prevent the rioting from happening, as the commanders of the borders, Beast God Mo Minkong and Beastmen Leader Lord Huzi had gathered everyone in one area and announced the real situation of the alliance.

Standing at the walls of the borders, Beast God Mo Minkong and the Ninetailed Fox Goddess’s eldest son, Lord Huzi, looked at the gathered people below. The two commanders, Mo Minkong and Huzi, finally showed their presence to the beings that had gathered.

Lord Huzi didn’t even mince his words and said, "The alliance city is no more. This includes the dwarf and elf’s kingdoms. The attacker was none other than the new marshal, Gu Ying."

"He might no longer be Gu Ying as the soul inside had been replaced as well as the villain that destroyed our homes, killed our brethren and ruined the alliance of the four races," said Beast God Mo Minkong.

He added, "If you wish to return to the alliance city we will no longer hold you back. But we wish that you think it carefully if you truly want to do so. As of now, except for the ancient forest, that place was already under the control of the Marshal, Gu Ying!"

"Moreover, the human race who were still alive had also fallen under the control of that marshal! If you return now, it would be no different than sending yourself to death! If we all leave the borders then... All the beasts from the barren lands would definitely enter our territories and take over the rest of what we have." Lord Huzi said.
