"How are they doing?" The Beast God, Mo Minkong, asked.

"This is a temporary thought. If he is really who we thought he is, that domain will not be able to completely seal him with just that. He will come out sooner or later. Zhi Yue walked towards him and placed something on the desk. Covered with an isolation barrier that looks like a glass dome, inside is a single cosmos flower which Mo Minkong is very familiar with. He was surprised to see that this cosmos flower is silver instead of black. Though there are all kinds of cosmos flowers, this one seems to be artificially made by someone else qi.

"This is...! A cosmos flower!?"

Mo Minkong secured the flower as just its existence was enough to bring anything into madness. That’s why he had isolated the whole garden of it in the core region of the Barren Land because that is a place no one can live on except for himself.

"Why did you bring this here!?" The Beast God was in panic.

Zhi Yang said, "Please look at it closely. It might look like a cosmos flower but it is not a real cosmos flower. This is something you must use when the real villain’s vessel comes out from the core of this world. This thing can harm him or kill him if used well."

"Is he the real enemy and not the Evil Beast God and his summoner?" Beast God Mo Minkong asked.

Zhi Yue said, "Of course, they aren’t. Even though the Evil Beast God used to be a foreign soul, after being reincarnated this world multiple times and getting his life tied with an aborigine, he had been transformed to become one of here. It’s just that his connection to the real villain is also undeniable."

"This flower will buy you some time so you can escape from his range. At least, before the two princes arrive," said Zhi Yang.

At this point, the beast god, Mo Minkong understood that the war at the border would at some point reach the end with their side winning. That means the Protagonist, Long Juedi, will successfully defeat Pei Jin and the world will go out of control. After all, these years he had an inkling who his sons are. Just the fact that they can handle the cosmos flower that he had been protecting ever since he was born shows that their real identity might not be as simple as others though. Cosmos energy is not a simple kind of power any gods can handle. Only that clan born from the chaos itself can handle it.

"I understand. I will use this well," said Beast God Mo Minkong.

After saying their part, Zhi Yang and Zhi Yue had returned to their system forms and once again can no longer be seen by the people of this world. It was at this moment that Lord Huzi had finished talking to his parents.

Lord Huzi said, "Husband, I’ve contacted my parents. They are about to descend and are just waiting for the Holy Dragon lord. But I told Mom and Dad to descend first so they can support Heri just in case something happened. It’s just that... will they be alright?"

This is the first time the beastmen leader, Lord Huzi and Beast God Mo Minkong heard Haerin speak with such formality. She usually immediately rushed towards them with a hug but she had turned into an adult one day and is no longer as childish as before. The two of them thought that this change was all because of the situation at the borders and they were overwhelmed by it. But when they saw that even Long Juedi’s demeanor had changed, everything had totally become different. As if two children suddenly turned into an adult after just one night of sleep.

Seeing them now face to face, the two adults finally realized that the change only happened on these two children but not in their whole group. After inviting the two to take a seat with them on the couch. The two commanders can feel the two children observing them which is a bit of a surprise.

Lord Huzi smiled and said, "For you two to not enjoy the celebration when you are the heroes of this party. Is there something you want to tell us?"

"Don’t worry about being afraid. We are family so we will believe whatever you want to say," Beast God Mo Minkong said.

Long Juedi and Haerin looked at one another as if they had made a decision; they finally looked at the two commanders whose original ending had been different from what they remember in their previous lives. In their previous life, the Beast God never appeared until the Beastmen race were exterminated and he had gone insane in the end. As for Lord Huzi, his ending is worse. After learning that his only sibling, Lord Heri, was killed by the human race, he tried to take revenge but was defeated by the three races that worked together to exterminate the beastmen.

That event was actually the worst decision the other races had made. Because of the extinction of the beastmen race and the destruction of their homes, the other remaining beastmen had gone into hiding, never appearing before the other races. Even when the world is ending, they have just watched as if they no longer care whether the world is destroyed or not. It was them who had caused them to hate them and the world itself.

But in this timeline, thanks to the existence of the two princes of the beastmen races, Haerin and her family were saved and taken back home to the ancient forest. Because of that Haerin didn’t lose her parents and the beastmen race didn’t end hating the humans completely. The existence of the alliance was also a big deal that never happened in their previous lives unless they learned about the end of the world.

Even though Long Juedi’s father and grandfather still died, with the promise of the Lord Hei, he now has a chance to revive them as long as they complete their mission of defeating the world villain, Pei Jin and his Evil Beast God, Ouroboros. Now for some unknown reason, the memories of their previous lives had also returned to them with enough details that will allow them to gain advantage of this ongoing war. That’s why they come to the two commanders to gain their trust and support.
