The Evolution of a Goblin to the Peak

Chapter 1275: Black Water Lord’s helplessness

Chapter 1275: Black Water Lord’s helplessness

Souta looked at Black Water Lord and said, "I said surrender or be exterminated. Do you think this is some kind of joke?"

He slowly stretched out his hand and grabbed the head of the expert wrapped in webs and blood beside him.

The expert’s eyes widened violently as terror flooded his heart. He felt the fingers digging deeper into his flesh, tightening little by little until his skull began to creak under the pressure. Veins bulged across his face as panic consumed him.

"No, no, no, no, no, no!!!"

Crack!!

His plea ended in a wet explosion. His skull collapsed in Souta’s grip like rotten fruit. Blood, brain matter, and shattered bone burst outward while his eyeballs were forced from their sockets. Fragments of flesh and gore drifted through the surrounding water.

A Second Enhancement Seventh Shackle Realm expert died just like that.

Souta casually waved his hand, and the swirling blood gathered behind him like a living tide.

His cold eyes swept across everyone before he spoke once more.

"I’m not joking. So what do you think of my proposal? If the republic submits to me, then you’ll be able to avoid bloodshed."

He paused briefly, his voice calm despite the corpse floating beside him.

"I will not treat any of you poorly as long as you follow my words. As for you..." He looked at Black Water Lord. "With my help, you might even reach the Ninth Shackle Realm sooner than you think."

"You’re delusional if you think we’ll bow to you," Black Water Lord said grimly.

Souta remained silent. He simply stared at Black Water Lord and the group of Seventh Shackle Realm experts behind him.

’One Eighth Shackle Realm and six Seventh Shackle Realm experts...’ he thought inwardly.

"Six seconds," Souta said softly.

Black Water Lord frowned. Before he could process what Souta meant, Souta vanished.

Boom!!

The water behind him exploded as Souta shot forward at terrifying speed, tearing through the sea like a crimson lightning bolt. Violent currents spiraled outward, crushing nearby rocks into dust.

"Prepare yourselves!!" Black Water Lord roared.

His energy erupted violently alongside his elemental power. Dark water surged from his body like a raging abyss, swallowing the surroundings in darkness. The pressure radiating from him spread across the battlefield like a collapsing ocean.

The experts behind him released their powers without reservation. One after another, immense auras exploded outward, causing the seawater to churn chaotically. Crimson currents, distorted pressure waves, and elemental forces collided together, turning the area into a storm of destruction.

Boom!!

The simultaneous eruption of power from more than five Seventh Shackle Realm experts made the entire region tremble violently. The surrounding seawater shook like a boiling sea while cracks spread through the ocean floor beneath them. Even space itself distorted slightly under the overwhelming pressure flooding the battlefield.

They saw a flash of light zigzag through the battlefield. It was so fast that only Black Water Lord could barely react to it.

Whooosh!!

Black Water Lord abruptly turned his head and his pupils shrank.

One of the Seventh Shackle Realm experts behind him had frozen in place. A thin crimson line slowly appeared from the top of the man’s head down to his waist.

Then his body split apart.

Blood and organs spilled out as the corpse separated cleanly into two halves, drifting lifelessly into the dark water.

"Six seconds to kill all six Seventh Shackle Realm experts," Souta’s voice echoed coldly through the battlefield. "I gave you a chance, and you didn’t take it."

Before the shock could settle, Souta appeared before another expert.

The expert’s eyes widened in terror. He only saw Souta’s cold gaze and the sword rising in his hand.

Swooosh!!

The slash descended like black lightning.

The Seventh Shackle Realm expert panicked and thrust both hands forward, desperately conjuring layer after layer of barriers. Dense energy walls stacked on top of one another, each strong enough to withstand devastating attacks.

Bang!!

The first barrier shattered instantly.

Bang! Bang! Bang!!

The remaining barriers exploded one after another like fragile glass. Cracks spread across them before they burst apart into fragments of energy.

The expert’s face turned pale. He finally realized that the attack had barely slowed down.

Then, a flash of crimson light filled his vision.

Before he could even scream, his defenses, armor, and resistance were torn apart in an instant. A thin red line appeared across his body.

For a brief moment, nothing happened.

Then his body slid apart.

Blood poured from the clean split as his upper torso separated from his lower half. His organs drifted into the surrounding water while the light in his eyes faded almost instantly.

It was a painless death.

"NOOOO!!" Black Water Lord roared in fury.

Three out of eight Seventh Shackle Realm experts were already dead.

Experts at that level were incredibly rare. Reaching the Seventh Shackle Realm required monstrous talent, resources, and countless years of cultivation. Even within their republic, only a handful had managed to stand at that height.

And yet, in mere moments, three had been slaughtered.

Black Water Lord exploded forward, charging toward Souta with murderous intent. The seawater behind him detonated as his immense energy surged wildly.

But suddenly, the space in front of him trembled violently.

A pitch-black sphere abruptly formed in the ocean, devouring everything around it. Water, debris, energy, and even light itself were dragged into the collapsing darkness. The surrounding currents twisted chaotically as the terrifying gravitational force threatened to consume the battlefield.

Ohm!!

Black Water Lord gritted his teeth and pulled back his fist. Veins bulged across his arm as his energy erupted to its peak. Dark torrents of power spiraled around his clenched fist, compressing into a destructive force powerful enough to shatter mountains.

Then he punched forward.

Bang!!

The surrounding space cracked violently. Shockwaves exploded outward, blasting apart the seawater in every direction.

The black hole trembled for a moment before collapsing violently under the sheer force of the punch.

Black Water Lord dashed forward just in time to witness Souta beheading one of his subordinates.

A head spun through the water while blood gushed from the severed neck like a crimson fountain. The corpse drifted lifelessly as Souta casually flicked the blood from his blade.

"Four kills..."

Four Seventh Shackle Realm experts had already died, including the one Souta crushed with his bare hands earlier.

’He’s too fast...’ Black Water Lord thought grimly. ’I can’t keep up with him. At this rate, we’re all going to die.’

Cold fear slowly crept into his heart.

He finally realized that Souta’s strength far exceeded that of an ordinary initial fifth-stage monster. Normally, two or three Seventh Shackle Realm experts would be enough to restrain such a creature.

But Souta was different.

His physical strength was monstrous. His energy reserves were overwhelming. His speed bordered on absurdity, and his combat instincts were terrifyingly sharp. Every movement was efficient, precise, and lethal.

It felt less like fighting a monster and more like facing a calamity wearing flesh.

’We need the other Lords...’

That single thought became the only thing keeping Black Water Lord moving.

Whoosh!!

The seawater exploded behind him as he accelerated with everything he had. In less than a second, he finally appeared before Souta.

Dark water spiraled violently around both of his arms like black dragons. Veins bulged across his body while his eyes burned with rage and desperation.

Black Water Lord roared and threw a devastating punch.

Boom!!

A massive tide of black water erupted forward. The surrounding water was violently dragged into the attack, forming a crushing torrent capable of pulverizing entire mountains beneath the sea.

Souta reacted instantly. He raised his sword while thick blood gathered before him, condensing into layers of crimson defense. The black tide slammed into it violently, causing the surrounding water to explode outward from the collision.

Boom!!

Shockwaves rippled across the battlefield as the blood barrier trembled under the immense force, the pressure threatening to blast Souta away.

Yet Souta didn’t move an inch.

"Not enough."

Souta sneered coldly as he slowly pulled back his left hand.

The black tide moved forward again, trying to dragged Souta down.

Whoosh!!

Douion and best feram swirled violently around Souta’s arm, compressing into a single point. The surrounding seawater distorted from the overwhelming concentration of power.

Bang!!

In an instant, Souta’s fist slammed into the raging black water.

The moment the two forces collided, a terrifying shockwave erupted outward. Rings of pressure tore through the ocean, blasting apart the surrounding currents while the black water exploded into countless fragments.

Boom!!

The compressed force scattered violently, shaking the battlefield. Even Souta was pushed back several meters through the water, leaving a trail of turbulence behind him. He slowly lifted his gaze toward Black Water Lord. Then, with an indifferent expression, he pointed to the side.

"Look," Souta said calmly. "You forgot something."

Black Water Lord’s pupils shrank.

He abruptly turned his head and saw one of his remaining subordinates suspended in the water.

Eight massive spider limbs had pierced through the man’s body from different directions. Blood spread rapidly from the wounds, staining the surrounding ocean crimson.

The expert trembled violently, unable to even scream properly as the limbs pinned him in place like prey caught in a predator’s jaws. Fear crept into Black Water Lord’s heart.

Swoosh!!

The spider limbs suddenly moved.

The man’s body was instantly torn apart into countless bloody pieces. Flesh, shattered bones, and chunks of organs scattered through the water like minced meat.

This was the fifth one.
