Ba Se said, “There is no need to explain the specifics of the battle. I am simply informing all of you in order to confirm whether Obscura should initiate a compulsory war.”

“Hehe. To avenge Green?”

Furball’s voice dropped low. “A word like ‘avenge’ is somewhat unexpected.”

Lu Yin spoke up, “Even vengeance should have an order of priority. Lan Meng was killed by the Mudwater Dominion. That grudge should also be avenged.”

A smile could be heard in Wang Wen’s voice as he replied, “Your Royal Chesspiece, do you want to push Obscura into another war against the Mudwater Dominion?”

“It’s vengeance,” Lu Yin emphasized.

Furball sneered. “There is no such thing as vengeance. If the decision to launch a compulsory war is left to us, I will not agree to a war.”

Wang Wen smiled. “All right.”

Lu Yin was startled. The entire situation felt quite unfamiliar. Ever since he had joined Obscura, he had always been the one who held the verbal initiative, but with Wang Wen revealing himself, this man both understood Lu Yin and planned far ahead. Wang Wen did not act according to common sense, which made him genuinely difficult to deal with.

“I do not agree to going to war,” Hong Xia announced.

Black spoke up, “I do not agree.”

Lu Yin shrugged. “I don’t need to know. Interests may exist for a time, but they will never exist forever. Today’s Wang Wen is not the Wang Wen of the past. And as for Obscura, do you truly understand it?”

“I at least understand it better than you,” Hong Xia retorted.

Lu Yin nodded. “Good. Then how much do you know about the Death Megaverse?”

Hong Xia did not answer. He did not have much knowledge regarding the Death Megaverse. He had not even known that the creature of the Soft Megaverse was one of the seven Abysses.
