Mechanical God Emperor

Chapter 61

61 – A Brawl

Yang Feng’s mind moved: “Scan this person’s information!”

<Dolly, basic properties, strength 2.1, agility 1.9, physique 2.5, spirit 1.4.>

<Blood-meridians: human.>

<Soul aptitude: inferior level-2.>

<General evaluation: classified as a level-3 life form. Evolution potential, small!>

The corners of Yang Feng’s mouth raised slightly as he thought delightedly: “Such a weak guy, mortals were indeed mortals.”

Even though Dolly looked tall, sturdy, strong, majestic and brimming with a deterring force far greater than that of Yang Feng’s group of seven – however, his strength was simply unable to compare to that of Yang Feng’s group of people.

If Yang Feng had just recently crossed paths with such a brawny man as Dolly, then Yang Feng wouldn’t be able to defeat him. But now, even if Yang Feng tied one of his hands, he would still easily beat up Dolly.

“Go to hell you lowly guy!” Trucks eyes flashed with a trace of a fierce glint – with lightning speed, he stood up and ruthlessly attacked Dolly’s abdomen. The moment the terrifying strength erupted – Dolly with his 100Kg of weight was directly punched more than 10m away – while knocking down countless chairs.

The sturdy bear-like Dolly tumbled along the ground, spurted out a mouthful of blood with fragments of viscera and immediately fell dead to the ground.

“Dead! Dolly was killed with one punch by that guy!”

“Knight, that guy is a Knight rank expert!”

“No! Great Knight, he is a Great Knight!!”

The adventurers at once made a racket in the inn, their gazes fell on Trucks and their eyes were brimming with fear and dread.

Dolly’s companions looked at each other and their eyes were flashing with anger. But they only swept trucks with a glance – lowering their heads one after another, not daring to look at him – they immediately payed their bill and left.

The inn was already located on the brink of the Obscure Mountain Range, around here, the truth lied in one’s fists – there were people dying everyday from brawls. Those without strength could only die.

Adventurers were generally below the Knight rank. Against a Great Knight rank expert, even if all the adventurers in the inn attacked together, the only result would be a bloodbath.

The bartender’s eyes flashed with a trace of a peculiar glint – his eyebrows slightly creased as he remained silent.

A maid from the Leporidae Clan, with a panic-stricken appearance, arrived in front of Yang Feng’s and his party’s table and said timidly: “Excuse me Daren, but you broke some chairs and tables …”

Trucks revealed a trace of a wicked smile, he stared at the maid and said eerily: “What? Do you want me to compensate you?”

“No! No! No! No!” The maid’s face turned pale, her tender body shivered and her voice trembled.

Pierre said lightly: “We’ll leave you that guy’s corpse! His weapons and leather armor should be enough to pay for our meals and accommodation, and there should still be enough to serve as compensation for breaking those tables and chairs.”

Pierre didn’t had such a large amount of resources as Yang Feng did. The resources that he squandered to promote to a level-3 Apprentice Warlock were however obtained from braving countless dangers, resulting in a rich adventuring experience.

If he didn’t had his mechanical legion, then even ten Yang Feng’s might not be a match against someone like Pierre, someone that was promoted to a level-3 Apprentice Warlock by going through countless fights. But with the help of the mechanical legion, even 10,000 Pierre’s couldn’t do anything against that kind of power.

“Thank You!” Only then did the maid gave a sigh of relief, she said gratefully and quickly retreated.

Several brawny man emerged from the rear of the inn and disappeared with Dolly’s corpse. Some maids of the Leporidae Clan appeared and skilfully dealt with the mess.

Before long, the interior of the inn had its usual appearance restored. But the voices of the adventurers became much lower – gazes would fall at Trucks from time to time and then move away.

Yang Feng and his party simply ate a bit, then they went to their respective rooms to rest.

At night, in the cellar of the inn.

The dim candlelight illuminated the cellar with a trace of radiance.

In the cellar, three people were sitting at a table. One of them was the rather handsome bartender. Another one was a middle-aged man with a strange tumor growing from his head, with an ugly appearance and fierce features. The last one was an old man dressed in black clothes, with wrinkles on his skin, the face covered with old spots, the skin discolored, a layer of black energy between his eyebrows.

The old man whispered with a hoarse voice: “Gilels, are you sure that those five are Apprentice Warlocks?”

Gilels’ eyes flashed with a touch of aversion as he spoke: “There’s no mistake, Graham Daren, they have the smell of Apprentice Warlocks’ life force, I can smell them from across several kilometers. They also disguised themselves as adventurers, it looks quite serious.”

Graham’s eyes flashed with a touch of puzzlement as he said: “How come there are Apprentice Warlocks here? This place is barren and full of dangers, there’s basically nothing for them to gain!”

“Could it be that they’ve uncovered my Lord’s plans?” Grahams gaze fell onto a golden statue in the cellar, he whispered while agitated.

In the middle of the cellar was placed the statue of a gremlin on which grew a wolf head, a human head and a tiger head, it had a robust orc-like body, a pair of feet and hands with long claws, a couple of wings growing from its back and it dragged a scorpion tale. That statue of a gremlin was lifelike, it’s eyes seemed to be mowing from time to time, they flashed with a savage and treacherous radiance, coldly watching the three people in the cellar.

The middle-aged man with a strange tumor growing from his head gave a sinister smile, his killing intent stirred as he said: “Graham! I’m just going to kill them all! Trifling Apprentice Warlocks, even if they die, it won’t arouse too much attention.”

Graham shook slightly his head and said, “No! They might have not uncovered my Lord’s plans! The means of Apprentice Warlocks are treacherous and powerful! Lek, you can’t act, otherwise, once we’re exposed, it would spoil my Lord’s plans, then even if you’d die a 10,000 times, you still wouldn’t be able to redeem yourself.”

Gilels whispered: “Graham Daren, Dolly was killed by those people. Dolly was a member of the Black Crows. We could instigate the Black Crows to act against them and thus probe their origins.”

Graham said lightly: “Alright! Gilels, it’s up to you then! As long as you handle this properly, after my Lord descends to this world, then your contribution definitely won’t be forgotten. As long as you are loyal and devoted as well as have some contributions, then the Mighty will definitely bestow upon you power and wealth exceeding that of a mortal.”

Gilels said with some excitement: “Yes! Graham Daren!”

The statue of a gremlin looked with cold indifference at what was happening in the cellar, a trace of ridicule was revealed deep within its eyes, then it’s eyes moved a bit and regained its ruthless, unfeeling and powerful state.

Graham glanced at the mechanical grandfather clock and said faintly: “It’s time Gilels, you should begin!”

“Yes, Graham Daren!” Gilels’ eyes flashed with a trace of excitement, he got up and went towards a corner of the cellar and opened a sack. Inside the sack, a young woman had her mouth covered by a tape – she fearfully looked at him as her body continuously twisted.
