Chapter 2767 - 2768: Completely At Their Mercy

This Alchemy cannot even compare to the Alchemy done in Genesis or any other world I've visited. It's almost as if it's a ritual. Colors from the sky and the ground converge into the cauldron, creating a singularity within the realms of planes themselves.

How wonderful.

Just what is Alchemy, really?

FLUOSH!

All of the ingredients ultimately merged into a single creation. It wasn't a pill this time but a small black and pink colored needle.

Wait, why a needle?

"And it's done! Perfect," the doc said. "I could've done it all myself, but with your help we were able to make it quickly. Alone, it would've taken me over a day. This is the Divine Acupoint Star Needle. It will help you awaken your Meridians and even the sealed Dantian within you."

"Sealed?" I was confused. "I thought I didn't have such things. I mean, it's only for humans, right?"

"And you're the daughter of a human, young lady. Despite your shapeshifting powers, you have a True Human Body," explained the doc. "Unlike your father, you can benefit from a lot of things humans can benefit from."

"I see…" I nodded.

Last time, I had evolved into an Outer Goddess, and then a fusion between an Outer Goddess and a Goddess of the Sun and Insects. But now that I landed in this world, like everyone else, my body underwent changes again, yet another "evolution." Into a Human, or a hybrid of human and what my father is, while everything else I was before is contained inside this body, the soul.

I see.

I understand how it works now.

My previous body became my soul, and my new body was made in this world. I gained a brand-new body, and I just realized it…

"And you're no simple human hybrid either," Medea said. "You possess your mother's ancient, combined bloodline, inheriting her Dhampir Bloodline and her Blackwood Fairy Bloodline. Dhampirs are weaker vampires that enjoy none of their weaknesses, usually converted. Meanwhile, Blackwood Fairies were powerful fairies that once existed in the Ancient Mythical Era, fairies that harnessed the Dark Spectrums of Nature: Decay, Death, Darkness, the Night, and so on."

"So my grandparents aren't fairies?" I asked.

"They are as much as you are, perhaps a little more, but they do try to live like their pure-blooded ancestors. Since your bloodline merged with that of Dhampir, your family gained more power and new abilities anyway," explained Medea. "If anything, even though nobody who is completely pure-blooded remains, your family is stronger and is quite respected within the Underworld of Germany. Their territory is feared by the Magus of that country, and they never dare step in, lest they want their blood drained from their bodies and their bodies turned into black trees."

"Brutal…" I murmured. "I didn't know they were that brutal, haha."

"Well, they're rather kindhearted to our organization, perhaps due to the connection we share, you," said Medea. "Despite how intimidating they can be, I am sure your family in Germany loves you and wishes they could see you. So consider one day going to visit them!"

"I am already considering it. Whenever I get free time, I'll go," I nodded.

"Well said," said the doc. "Now, Mirabilis, hold her."

"Huh? Wait—Ah?!"

I was shocked as Mirabilis grabbed me with all her tentacles, using her immense power to restrain me. A strange invisible power also suppressed my own mind and soul.

Wait, am I completely at their mercy?!

How…

"I'm sorry, young lady, but this will hurt a lot. Using anesthesia would make it useless, so you have to bear the pain," Mirabilis said.

"Your father gave us permission," Wasp said. "So we won't hold back."

"Huuuh?!"

As I screamed, Wasp grabbed the needle and swiftly moved his hand with great dexterity.

And then.

Pain!

A throbbing, agonizing pain coursed through my physical body. It was so agonizing I could cry.

And I cried.

How come…!

A cosmic goddess of my level is crying like a little girl!

"Ouch! Aahhh! Please stop! No moreeeee!"

I had forgotten what pain felt like, but this new body… yeah, it can feel it.

After five minutes of agonizing torture, I looked at my body, feeling tired and dizzy.

"Ahh… What was that?"

I felt something…

As the pain slowly receded…

Inside my body, there were several clumps of hard, rock-like energy, crystallized. They were there for so long I never realized until now. When they broke down, they let my body flow freely.

"W-Wha…! Wow…"

I felt so light. Like I was floating above the clouds. Energy, cold, refreshing energy flowed through all of my Meridians. I felt like I could finally use my strength now, or a part of it. A lot of power that was sealed, not by anybody, but by my own lack of training and discipline, after years since I was born in this parallel world.

"It's a success. All twelve meridians have been stimulated and awakened. This needle is great. Her Dantian is not open yet. Shall I continue?" Wasp asked.

"Do so," the doc said. "Let's get this over with right now."

"Wait—Aahhh!"

As I screamed, Wasp mercilessly dug into my flesh with the needle. No blood was spilled, but I felt immense pain in my head, chest, and stomach. Like all of my body was about to explode.

I gritted my teeth, bearing the agonizing acupuncture. And eventually, I fell unconscious.

But Wasp hit my head with the needle, keeping me awake.

"You mustn't fall asleep, or it won't work, young lady."

"What? Aaaagh!"

Like that, after another five hours of torture, three large, blocked paths in my body, concentrations of empty essence, finally flowed freely, absorbing the energy in my surroundings.

"Ahhh…"

And I once more felt relief, like floating in the clouds.

"It's finally done…" Wasp sighed in relief. "Her Dantian was especially powerful. The needle is ruined now, but it served its purpose."

"Good," the doc nodded. "For the time being, go to sleep, young lady. We will begin teaching you tomorrow morning."

And like that, I was dragged to my room and fell asleep like a log.
