Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2854 - 2855: Saving Mother

Chapter 2854 - 2855: Saving Mother

-----

Felrak groaned in agony, frantically moving as pain exploded through his head, desperate to distract Kireina. His headless body tore through space, racing toward the crack in the universe.

He was fleeing for his life.

"I can't fight her! I won't! That's a Star Shattering Realm Heart Cultivator! Damn it all! I refuse to face another one!"

Horrific memories surged through his mind. Felrak had once battled a foe who had utterly humiliated him, memories he had long sealed away so they would not haunt him in combat.

But Kireina had ripped those seals apart, flooding his consciousness with terror.

He remembered.

That man.

That small, insignificant man.

A blue-skinned cyclops, thin and gaunt, almost starved.

He appeared as a pathetic mortal in gray robes and wooden sandals.

He seemed utterly ordinary, yet...

With mere gestures, his Heart Essence formed a long azure shovel and hoe.

"AAAAHHH!"

Felrak screamed as the memory of that azure shovel ripping through his head and piercing his Cosmic Heart overwhelmed him.

He had barely escaped with his life, then spent five hundred years lost in screams of horror. Never again had he dared enter the Heart Tribe's territory within the Multiversal Cosmos.

The Heart Tribe defied all logic, even the established hierarchies of power across the Multiverse. Greater Powers hunted them relentlessly.

But the man he had faced was no ordinary member.

He was the Leader of the Heart Tribe within the Gray Void Firmament, a perilously dangerous region of the Multiversal Cosmos.

Xee Piuk.

"She's just like him! How? HOW? HOW? HOW? HOW? WHERE WAS THIS MONSTER HIDING?"

As he drew ever closer to the escaping rift...

FLASH!

She appeared, slicing through space itself, moving faster than light.

"I will never forgive you for what you did to my mother. You will die."

No mercy.

No forgiveness.

Kireina swung her sword, unleashing all her power in a single strike.

"Heaven and Earth Defying Soul Heart Style."

"Second Form..."

"Defiance of the Nine Heavens!"

The starry skies shattered, revealing nine colossal heavens stacked above the Sun and Moon Domain. Her blade cleaved through them, not to destroy, but to rewrite their very laws. Each heaven fractured. From the cracks poured rivers of light and darkness, chaos and blessing, weaving into one unstoppable torrent.

A single strike.

All of it fused into an endless sword.

Her Infinite Heavens Sword unveiled its true essence once more.

Both powers were nearly matched.

Myriad Forms and Connections – Weapon Form: Infinite Heaven Sword.

SLAAASH!

That was the end of Felrak and his ancient legacy. His entire existence was obliterated. Only his memories survived, swiftly absorbed by Kireina to claim the knowledge he held.

He vanished completely, not even his soul spared.

"I see. So that's the kind of being you were. I'm glad I ended you. And Xee Piuk, along with the Heart Tribe of the Gray Void Firmament? I should visit them to better understand this new power of mine..."

Once finished, Kireina gazed into the distance. Veronica had just defeated her opponent, a muscular Overseer who had fused with multiple Cosmic Beast Souls to become a chimeric giant.

She had overwhelmed him with relentless strength, unbreakable resilience, and the ability to reshape her metallic body into countless deadly forms, utterly humiliating him.

"Done? That was incredible," Veronica said, admiration shining in her eyes. "It's wonderful to finally see you in person again, Kireina!"

"Veronica... yes, it's wonderful to see you too, sister," Kireina replied with a warm smile, wiping cosmic blood from her avatar's body. "Now, let's go save Mother."

Kireina and Veronica joined Chaos and Ervas to free her from the Cosmic Chains.

The chains were a formidable Cosmic Treasure, requiring their combined strength to break.

Yet Kireina had a better plan.

"Wait just a little longer, Mother."

She touched the chains and poured her cosmic soul into them, rapidly refining them now that their owner, Felrak, was gone.

The chains submitted easily, swiftly transforming into a small, snake-like cosmic beast formed of glowing azure crystals.

"So this is a true Cosmic Treasure," Kireina murmured. She had claimed her first one that had not been elevated from something else.

Cosmic Treasures were so potent they developed their own minds and personalities, behaving more like loyal pets.

As they grew stronger, they could eventually assume humanoid shapes, speak, and become as wise and intelligent as their masters over time.

"Wow, you refined it instantly?" Veronica asked in astonishment.

"That would have taken us a year or two..." Ervas stared, mesmerized by Kireina's prowess.

"Then... Mother, are you all right?" Chaos asked softly.

"..."

Khaos gradually felt the crushing weight lift from her body. Her broken, wounded form began to regenerate, drawing in the Primordial Cosmic Essence of the Universe.

What started slowly accelerated, becoming instantaneous. Her injuries healed in mere seconds.

FLAAASH!

And Khaos, one of the three Primordials of this Universe, was freed from her chains and fully restored.

Her radiant, dark form resembled nothing most would imagine as a "mother."

She appeared as a vast, ominous galaxy with a black hole in its heart.

But her children did not care.

This was their beloved mother.

"Mom!"

Kireina cried out, rushing forward to embrace Khaos's enormous spherical core—a black star that would disintegrate anyone who was not a Chaos Being.

"Yes... I'm here, my dear. Mama is here..."

Khaos wept red tears of cosmic dust that drifted into the void and became new stars.

Gazing at her children, Khaos felt a touch of awkwardness.

"I suppose I should take a form more familiar to you all, shouldn't I?"

"Eh?"

Everyone gasped as Khaos compressed her immense body, shrinking into the smallest approximation of a humanoid shape she could manage.

Skin black as charcoal, glowing red eyes like black holes, long cosmic hair flowing like an endless nebula, a dress woven from void, stars, planets, and galaxies.

A motherly figure with wide hips and a generous bosom.

She embodied the very essence of a "Mother of the Cosmos."

"W-Woah!"

Kireina and her siblings reacted in perfect unison.

Khaos chuckled softly, spreading her arms wide.

She remained the size of a planet, yet it was a scale everyone present could embrace.

Without hesitation, she surged forward, scooping her children into a warm, enveloping hug and lifting them all.

"I am so happy to be with you again! You cannot imagine how long I've waited for this moment!"

Khaos wept openly, and her children wept with her.

"Mother... I'm so happy too! Uwaaahhh!" Veronica sobbed like a child.

"Mother..." Ervas offered a gentle smile as silent tears fell.

"A-Ah, this is too much...!" Chaos stammered, overwhelmed.

"Mommyyyyyyy!" Kireina wailed the loudest, the same fierce warrior who had just slain a cosmic terror now reduced to a trembling child craving her mother's embrace.

"Heheh, I'm here... and I will never leave you again," Khaos whispered, stroking Kireina's head and kissing her forehead. "I love you, my dear. I love you so much."

"We're finally together... after I fell and was lost for so long..." Kireina sobbed. "I will never let anyone harm you again. Never!"

Now, with the power Kireina had attained, the Universe lay open before her.

But what was happening with her main body back on the Parallel Earth?

And what did these profound changes within her truly mean?
