Chapter 2921 - 2922: The War Against The Sun

-----

Amiphossia and Evan flew swiftly toward Kireina's castle. Along the way, they witnessed countless allies unleashing powerful Cosmic Auras and Heart Essence Manifestations, rushing outside to join Kireina in battle. Yet their focus remained fixed on one thing: their child.

As they drew closer, both parents felt it clearly. Their child was calling them, desperately trying to communicate, pleading for them to witness its birth.

"Our child…!"

"It's here…!"

Amiphossia kicked the door open. She and Evan stepped inside and found a large egg the size of a car. Its surface shimmered with white scales accented by gold above and below, resembling a majestic work of art.

But it was no mere sculpture. It was alive—a living being, an egg cradling a small soul, and a not-so-small baby.

"It's glowing?!"

"It is!"

Amiphossia and Evan gasped as the egg radiated a brilliant light akin to sunlight—yet even more intense and pure.

This was the child of Kireina's first and strongest daughter and a powerful hero of Genesis.

Naturally, whatever their child became, it would be strong.

But they never could have imagined, even in their wildest dreams, what awaited them now…

Crack, crack…!

CRASH!

The eggshell shattered. A tiny hand burst forth, tearing the entire egg apart.

From within emerged a radiant child carrying the very essence of light itself.

FLASH!

"So you will defy me! I expected as much. Eliminate them."

The Sun God's words were absolute commands. His army of millions surged forward—powerful beings advancing toward Kireina and her group.

The Queen of Spirits and her brainwashed subordinates spread spirit crystals everywhere, summoning endless spirit beasts.

Genesis and her Supreme Gods warped space and time, combining their supreme authorities and Genesis powers to refine everything and everyone, accelerating the brainwashing process for the Sun God.

Hades, vessel of the Netherworld Plane Ruler, opened an even larger portal. Undead Titans poured through, spreading death and nether energy. Ghosts and specters howled ferociously at their enemies.

The Space Humans deployed all their giant mechas and titans. Motherships charged energy and unleashed countless beams capable of obliterating entire planets.

The Archdemons rained judgment upon all. Light and darkness poured down indiscriminately, destroying everything. Their faces remained locked in perpetual bliss as they attacked.

The many gods of Earth fused into massive clusters of pure divine power, unleashing elemental barrages—setting everything ablaze, freezing it solid, slicing with razor-sharp winds, electrifying the air, and more.

It was utter chaos.

Yet at the same time, a unique opportunity.

Despite everything, Kireina couldn't help but feel a twisted gratitude toward the Sun God. He had gathered every enemy she wanted to eliminate into one place.

Now she and her allies could sweep through them all in a single, decisive strike.

"Everyone, there are many foes, so we will divide and conquer. There will be four teams in total. One to handle the Spirits—composed of all those with grudges against them. Another to take on the Humans—made up of those who can easily overcome their technology. A third group against the Archdemons. And the fourth to deal with the Netherworld Ruler."

Kireina had already assigned the teams and ordered them to assemble quickly.

As for herself, she would ascend into outer space to confront the giant sun and the stars surrounding it—and face the Sun God directly.

She wasn't going alone. Her mother, her father, Frank, Chaos, Abyss, Kosmos, Ervas, and Veronica were coming with her.

"If you're really doing this, Kireina, let's go together," Chaos said.

"We've come all this way, so we might as well!" Abyss nodded.

"Yeah!" Kosmos roared.

"I agree," Ervas said. "That Sun Deity has likely reached an immense realm of power—far beyond anything we've faced. I believe he may be at the Peak of Transcending Nirvana. However, he might not know how to ascend further, leaving him stuck in that realm."

"What's more, I can tell that when he consumed that goddess, he sustained damage to his soul…" Veronica added. "Kireina, Ervas, and I hold Authorities over Souls. If we can get close enough to his wounded soul, we can worsen the damage caused by Amaterasu's sacrifice. From there, we can start to even the field."

"But it won't be easy, right?" Kireina asked.

"It won't," Ervas nodded. "You will have to create an opening for us. Can you do it?"

"I can try," Kireina said. Then she corrected herself firmly. "No, that's not the right mindset, is it? I WILL do it."

"Kireina, let's fight that thing together," Frank said. "I can go as well."

"I don't doubt your strength, Frank, but can't you look after your friends first?" Kireina asked. "I believe that if we can kill those he's controlling, he'll be weakened. Come to me once you're done with a few. I need your help with this. You're our best healer, so… please, keep everyone alive for us."

"…Fine," Frank sighed, reluctant but agreeing. "But don't you dare die, guys!"

As everyone nodded, Kireina soared into the skies. She transformed into a blinding pillar of light shaped like a sword, piercing through the potent sunlight and the dimensional domain conjured by the Sun God.

"You're trying to get closer? The closer you are to the sun, the more you will burn, fools!"

The brightness was overwhelmingly powerful and searingly hot, but everyone in the group possessed strong resistance to such light. As Kireina bestowed her Khepri Transformation upon them, granting divine golden scarab armor, she felt confident they could endure.

"If we cannot take down the sun itself, the world will end, huh?" her father mused. "Truth be told, I never imagined I would be spending my Monday fighting to save the world! That's a first."

"I spent the last thousands of years chained and slowly being killed," Khaos replied. "But you're right—this is my first time too."

"Ah, I don't know if this is the right time and place, but I'm sorry if you went through that," Lord Chaos said.

"It's quite fine," Khaos smiled. "Kireina saved me… so the least I can do now is help her, as the mother I am."

"…That's right," Kireina's father nodded. "That's what parents do!"

Both surged forward. Their chaotic powers shone with bright radiance as golden scarab armor materialized, wrapping around their humanoid forms and making them resemble true gods of chaos and sunlight.

"How foolish. Well, if you want to die so badly, come closer!"

The Sun God didn't even bother fighting them personally. He unleashed beams of sunlight capable of annihilating entire solar systems. The attacks crashed against Kireina's powerful veil of Sea of Emptiness.

At the same time, thousands of his brainwashed forces rushed toward her group, desperate to halt their advance.

Kireina swung her sword. A garden manifested, and an eclipse erupted from the skies.

Petals flowed. Giant mechas, dream entities, spirit beasts, undead titans, and gods all fell the same, shredded into countless pieces.

"Let's press on!"

"RAAAAHHH!"

Everyone roared. Their Auras surged and merged into a gigantic, glowing cosmic sword that gleamed with chaos, white void, and countless other elements.

They moved at lightning speed, shattering the Sun God's defensive sunlight barriers with ease.

One by one, they broke through—until they finally reached outer space.

There, far in the distance, a massive sun blazed brightly. In front of it stood a giant humanoid god of pure sunlight and plasma. Enormous golden wings spread behind him. Long blonde hair flowed, gleaming blue eyes burned, and heavy golden armor covered his form. He wielded two glowing holy sun swords.

"You made it! Congratulations! Here's your reward!"

With sick, wicked laughter, the Sun God twisted space, time, and reality around him. Sunlight erupted instantly, surrounding everyone. Millions, billions, then trillions of sunlight beams bombarded them from every direction.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Seeing them hopelessly overwhelmed, the Sun God laughed loudly at their apparent weakness.

"Hahahaha! What else did you expect by getting closer to a Sun God such as myself?!"

Trapped in the eternal, endless dimension of light the Sun God had created, Kireina swiftly infused her sword with eternal darkness instead. She drew power from her Heaven, Earth, and Heart Cultivation and the refined Sea of Emptiness.

"If I have to, I will cut light itself!"

Her eyes blazed brightly. Everyone witnessed what Kireina was doing and poured their Cosmic Auras into her, powering her up even further. For that moment, she matched the Sun God's Realm.

"Heavenly Sword God Myriad Soul Blade Arts – Shinra Yaoyorozu."

"First Form – Mountain Slash!"

"Second Form – Terrain Division!"

"Third Form – Splitting Skies!"

"Fourth Form – Storming Seas!"

"Fifth Form – Four Heavenly Cardinals!"

"Sixth Form – Star Cleaving Sword!"

By stacking every form within the Swordsmanship Susanoo had taught her, Kireina began grasping, modifying, transforming, shattering, destroying, and absorbing all the light within the dimension.

And then.

Her eyes gleamed as the seventh form finally emerged; unleashing millions of swords forged from the same radiant light that had been trying to kill them.

"Seventh Form – Myriad Celestial Blade!"

"…?!"

The Sun God's handsome face twisted in disbelief. Millions of swords pierced his Dimension of Light and shattered it into countless fragments. Those pieces were instantly absorbed by Kireina's Infinite Heavens Sword, woven into even greater power.

She pressed forward without pause, swinging her sword downward. The Sun God parried swiftly with both blades, and their weapons began clashing directly.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

"Hah, impressive, Kireina! Truly impressive! But can you really handle my swords? Forged from fifty Dimensions of Light compacted together?!"

"What?!"

Kireina was stunned to hear that. Both of the Sun God's blades sliced through reality itself, slashing across her entire body at the speed of light.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

"KIREINA!"

Her parents panicked and attacked the Sun God, unleashing a barrage of chaotic, reality-warping punches that riddled his vessel with bleeding holes.

"Hah! To think the whole family is here! Perfect. I'm going to kill all of you filthy chaos spawns now!"

The Sun God laughed wickedly. He summoned countless clones made of Heavenly Cosmic Dimensional Sunlight—the new source of power he had attained at his current stage—and unleashed devastating assaults against Kireina's parents.

Both Chaos Primordials were hurled back violently, wounds covering their bodies. Yet they regenerated swiftly through their unique physiology, drawing from the Chaos Plane they had accessed thanks to Kireina, and resumed their onslaught.

Ervas and Veronica transformed into their strongest, gigantic forms and joined the fray. Ervas slipped in from the sides, slashing and tearing chunks from the Sun God's body, while Veronica tanked his blows with her immensely tough metallic frame and fired beams of cosmic ghost energy to destroy the clones.

Chaos, Abyss, and Kosmos fused into one, becoming a gigantic cosmic outer god vampire dragon. They roared ferociously, blocking the Outer God from reaching Kireina. They unleashed dozens of slashes with their massive claws, fired beams of chaos and destruction, and finally—

A colossal breath attack!

TRUUUMMM!!!

The breath struck the Sun God, punching a hole straight through his chest. Yet instead of screaming in pain, he smiled.

"Heh… You're going to need something stronger than that, lowly lizard!"

His body regenerated effortlessly, as though nothing had happened. He swung his swords, severing Chaos's arms and wings, then kicked his head downward.

When Ervas attacked next, the Sun God caught him by the arm, ripped it off, and punched his stomach, sending him flying.

When Veronica blocked his path, he compressed her with dimensional energy into a giant ball and kicked her toward the sun.

Kireina's parents roared, growing as large as possible and attacking from every angle. But the Sun God regenerated instantly and punched and kicked them away.

"Weak! All of you are pathetic weaklings! Kireina! What are you doing over there—Huh?!"

As the Sun God closed in on her, he could have sworn he was seeing an optical illusion.

Where Kireina stood, an endless overlap of herself repeated infinitely across the dimensions and planes her Heart had connected to.

"Heaven And Earth Defying Soul Heart Style."

"Fourth Form – Heaven-Surpassing Infinite Self!"

A dimension formed around her and the Sun God.

His body was engulfed by millions, then billions, then trillions of cleaving attacks.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

"Guuuhhh?!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

"Nnngaaaah!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

"S-Stooooop!"

Before the Sun God could regenerate in time, his Avatar was reduced to cosmic dust!
