Chapter 2929 - 2930: The Darkwood Fae Family

-----

Germany, Schwarzwald.

Darkwood Fae Territory, Corrupted Domain.

The King of the Darkwood Fae gazed at the cracked skies as countless spirit crystals attempted to overtake his territory.

Unlike the rest of the world, the Corrupted Domain of the Darkwood Fae family was not a naturally occurring dimension—it was one they had constructed with their own hands.

And at the same time, they had deliberately chosen to keep it a Corrupted Domain because it suited their powers better, not because it could not become a Heavenly Domain at any moment.

"How annoying. How long will you keep pestering us?"

The King sighed. He was a tall, muscular, handsome man with long white hair and sharp red eyes. He appeared to be in his late thirties, with smooth skin and no facial hair, yet he was someone who had lived for tens of thousands of years alongside his wife.

He wore black leather pants, a white blouse, a black-and-red tunic, and black shoes. As he gazed upward with gleaming red eyes, a third purple eye opened on his forehead. A pair of spiraling horns grew from each side of his head, gleaming brightly as well.

Behind him spread enormous butterfly wings that glowed intensely, revealing dozens of glowing eyes within their patterns.

This was the King of the Darkwood Fae—Eliadol, Kireina's grandfather.

Shadow, Blood, Abyss, Chaos, Poison, Curse, and Spirit Energies poured endlessly from his body, rapidly condensing into a forest of dark stars.

"Abyssal Darkwood Dominion – Awakening of the Shadowood: Schattenwald Erwachen."

TRUUUMMM!!!

A massive dominion of void and darkness manifested, consuming the spirit crystals and the millions of spirit beasts trying to invade his domain.

Everything was rapidly erased amid countless explosions shaped like a dark, tenebrous forest that erupted and blanketed the entire sky.

At the same time, not far away, another figure used her very presence to anchor the entire Dominion to the planet—one of the few that had not been sucked into the Labyrinth of Madness.

She was taller than her husband—twice his size—slender and beautiful, appearing no older than her early thirties. She had long, cascading dark purple hair, gleaming red eyes, a third golden eye on her forehead, and long spiraling black horns that revealed her true nature.

She wore a long dark purple dress adorned with red jewels and stood barefoot. Her long fingers, tipped with black-and-red nails, wove countless runes and curses.

She was the Queen of the Darkwood Fae—Isolde Nachtglanz, Kireina's grandmother.

Using her powers, she anchored the Dominion to Earth's Plane and held firm until the attractive force of the Labyrinth of Madness finally dissipated—only for their realm to come under attack once more.

To her left, a large mass of Dream Entities surged forward. To her right, armies of tens of thousands of demons charged.

Both forces attacked her and her army, yet no one could win or even inflict damage.

"Abyssal Darkwood Dominion – Rain of Dark Stars: Dunkelstern Regen."

Reality distorted around the great queen. Everything shifted.

The entire Corrupted Domain—which was actually three times larger than the average Heavenly Domain—condensed around her and then expanded violently, as though forming a new universe.

Dark stars emerged and rained down on all enemies. Countless explosions erupted, generating miniature black holes that devoured everything. Dream Entities and their powerful Dream Kings, Demons and their Demon Dukes—all perished.

Except for one.

"Oh?"

Her sharp gaze locked onto the lone survivor: a reptile-like demon exuding dream essence—a hybrid of demon and Dream Entity that had infiltrated the demon ranks earlier. It roared, absorbing power from both Hell and the Dream Plane, and began to grow massively.

"WRAAAAHHHHH!"

With a mighty roar, this anomaly among anomalies swelled into a titanic Kaiju and charged forward, tearing through everything in its path.

"Hah, how amusing. So there's a special one, huh?"

Isolde chuckled beautifully. She waved her hand, weaving black threads around herself and rapidly forming a brand-new spell as the titan approached.

"Abyssal Darkwood Dominion – Blossom of Corruption: Verderbnisblüte."

The threads transformed into thorny vines, creating a beautiful blossoming garden around her. It opened countless flowers—millions, billions… trillions.

The endless flowers covered her foe, consuming its mind, soul, and spirit. The titanic Kaiju collapsed to the ground, coughing blood.

"GAAAACK! GRYAAACK!"

"How cute. What's wrong? Weren't you so strong before?"

The Darkwood Fae Queen—the strongest Spirit in all of Europe and the only one who had refused to join Sofarpia and Sofelaia in their little crusade against her cousin Oberon—walked calmly toward the world-destroying Kaiju. "You will become my Familiar. It is decided."

Her smile carried a vicious possessiveness strikingly similar to the one Kireina often showed.

Indeed, she was clearly her grandmother.

"Abyssal Darkwood Dominion – Chains of Soulblood: Seelenblut Ketten."

Blood and Soul merged, manifesting black chains that wrapped around the monster's soul and entire existence, binding it to her.

The anomaly among anomalies screamed and struggled, but it was enslaved in seconds, turning into her loyal Familiar.

"I see, I see… So you're a powerful Nightmare Entity that devoured billions of souls but tried to infiltrate Hell. It didn't end well for you, I suppose," she said with a nod. "How amusing! Well, you're mine now."

As she laughed, she infused immense power into the Kaiju-sized Dream Entity Demon. It rose again, roared, and grew giant spikes glowing with dark purple and pink light, shaking the entire Corrupted Dominion.

"Now go—defeat our enemies!"

The mighty Kaiju leaped forward, slashing with giant claws, tearing apart and devouring everything, single-handedly halting the invasion.

The queen walked toward her king, looking at him with a pleased smile.

"Looks like a lot is happening outside," the King said. "I'm worried, Isolde. What about our daughters and grandchildren?"

"Hm, right. I'm quite concerned as well," Isolde nodded. "But where should we even go? And is the world outside safe?"

As they both pondered what to do next, a spark of golden lightning and red light entered the Corrupted Domain and appeared before them.

It was Agatheina and Alice.

"Mother, father!" Agatheina called. "A great peril is about to befall our world! An evil Sun God is going to swallow everything. Kireina is fighting it, but she needs our help. Alone… I fear she cannot make it."

"…!"

"…?!"

The King and Queen exchanged a glance and nodded immediately.

"Lead us there, Agatheina," Eliadol said.

"We'll bring the Corrupted Dominion along as well!" Isolde smiled. "If things have become this grave, then there's no point in holding back anymore."

"We didn't want to help those centaurs because we didn't concern ourselves with their matters," Eliadol added, "but this is the fate of the world at stake. We have to move."

"Thank you!" Alice said.

"Let's go then, Mother, Father!"

Agatheina—happy to have a family here—snapped her fingers, summoning several other people to her side.

Among them was a beautiful girl with long red hair and the lower half of a giant crimson centipede. She exuded a powerful aura similar to the family's, with a large pair of butterfly wings on her back and black horns like theirs.

"Hello, Grandma, Grandpa!" she said with a cute smile. "I'm Scarlet! And I'm gonna help out!"

"Oh?" Eliadol looked surprised.

"G-Grandma?!" Isolde had no idea she had another surprise granddaughter out there—and one so peculiarly shaped. "My dear, I can immediately tell you belong to us, but where did you even come from? Who are your mother and father?"

"I have three mommies!" the girl said brightly. "I'm Scarlet! Mama Kireina, Mama Nixephine, and Mama Nesiphae! Nice to meet you!"

"EH?!"

The King and Queen were shaken to learn their granddaughter already had a daughter. In their family it was normal for members—especially the more numerous females—to have partners of the same gender or even multiple partners, so that part wasn't strange. The strange part was that there was a great-granddaughter out there they had never known about.

"Now let's begin!"

Scarlet chuckled and spread her aura everywhere. Her entire body transformed into a gigantic cosmic centipede made of starlight and nebulae. It expanded across the Corrupted Dominion and began teleporting the entire realm through the Blood Dimension.

From this dimension she began to draw power. The King and Queen, sensing the unique opportunity, swiftly did the same, absorbing the energy to empower themselves and their kin for whatever lay ahead.

"Kireina, wait a bit longer. We're coming!" Agatheina said confidently.

. . .

The armies of gods and warriors reached the skies, battling millions of Sun-Touched Outer Gods, Demons, Machines, and Dream Entities. They fought constantly to climb higher but were unable to break through completely. The sheer size of the Sun God's army was simply tremendous and absurd.

However, one person on the surface was not looking at the sky—she was looking at what lay in front of her.

Readjusting her glasses, holograms appeared all around her as she dashed through a giant mothership, leaping with mechanical wings and cosmic aura from one vessel to the next.

Each time she landed, she marked them with her special power. Blue and golden circuits began spreading everywhere.

Machines, motherships, smaller ships, little mechas, even mechanical suits and weapons—everything was being "assimilated."

By her side, an adorable girl with long blue hair and circuit-like tattoos did the same as her mother, her eyes gleaming with special power.

"Mama, we're almost done with the Cybernetic Takeover and Mechanical Assimilation!"

"Good! This is top-tier material! With this—and something more—we can finally finish our project, my dear daughter!"

Once finished, a titan Chaos King—or rather, a former one—approached them after receiving a strange call from her. The enormous being looked down at the woman not as an insect, but as someone who could help him ascend even further.

"You're one of Kireina's allies, right?"

"I am her wife, Charlotte! And this is our daughter, Elektra."

"So she has many mates, I see. What do you propose then?"

"My plan is simple, Fifth King of Chaos, Obhedhrur! Become the centerpiece of my new creation."

"Oh?"

"With your permanent link to the Chaos Plane, we could fuel my strongest and greatest creation. I believe you are the one who can help me achieve this."

"And if we do it, what happens next?"

"We will forge a machine strong enough to level entire universes with ease—no, perhaps even dimensions."

"…?! What are you even creating, human?"

"Fufu, I am no longer a human. I abandoned my humanity long ago to pursue mechanics and alchemy—my true passion. Now, thanks to Kireina-sama, I have been brought here with a daughter as genius as me—if not even smarter."

"…"

Charlotte patted her daughter's head. Both were ready.

"Andromeda and Astraea are ready to help as well, and their children, Origin and Asteria, also possess the power to help us create this ultimate Cosmic Treasure. These are the blueprints."

"…?"

Obhedhrur examined them with his gleaming red eyes, widening them in awe. "Oh?! I see…! Hah… I see! Very well! It's a deal! Modify me. Turn me into whatever you want. If we can achieve that form…! If we can impress Kireina and help her…! Then do it, Charlotte!"

"I'm glad we're on the same page, Obhedhrur!" Charlotte laughed.

She rushed toward him with her daughter. Both touched his mechanical body and spread countless circuits.

Obhedhrur's entire form—which had already absorbed the Humanity Space Federation's strongest combined mecha—suddenly divided into countless parts that flew everywhere.

At the same time, the twenty-one motherships, the 10,344 machines, and everything else left behind floated into the air and rapidly began to assemble.

Then portals opened, leading to Charlotte and Elektra's Divine Realms and also to Kireina's, where a massive continent, a labyrinth continent formed from dungeons and fully mechanized, floated upward and began to merge as well.

Something truly enormous and terrifying began to take shape at incredible speed. Many familiar faces appeared: Wagyu, Kekensha and the rest of the wolves, the Monkey Warriors, the Elemental Lords, the Wyvern Lord and his children, Luminous the White Dragon God—they all roared mightily and joined.

Each one was covered in mechanical parts that absorbed their essence, transformed, and embodied their power and form, fueled by their souls and auras.

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

Each became a different cosmic mech, and they fused together into an utterly massive titan. The commotion was so loud that Frank and everyone else fighting high above had to look down in awe at what was happening.

"What in the world is going on down there?!" Frank asked, eyes widening. "Wait… huh?!"

A titan was rapidly being assembled. Gods, werewolves, vampires—everyone gazed in awe and disbelief. Genesis and the Supremes knew exactly who was behind it: one of Kireina's wives, infamous for creating the deadliest machines—robots capable of letting mortals fight gods even before the Space Humans appeared.

Now, given the freedom to build anything she desired, she was assembling her greatest creation yet. Hundreds, then thousands of powerful souls—all of them Kireina's allies—fueled the giant machine with their powers, making it stronger by the moment.

Some Sun-Touched Outer Gods tried to attack it, only to be met with the titan beginning to move—smashing them into smithereens with a single punch.

"It's not complete yet—this is just the Beta Test! Let's wipe out those sun deities!"

Charlotte and countless other gods and allies rallied together as they moved the titan into the skies.
