Chapter 2933 - 2934: Spider VS Butterfly
-----
Sun and Moon Heavenly Dimensional Domain, Outerversal Expanse, Gray Void Firmament.
An old man with blue skin, small stature, a single eye on his face, and a bald head slowly and gently planted alien-looking plants.
Every movement was precisely calculated, honed through years of enslavement in the plantations of Sekurialk, a highly addictive drug.
For thousands of years he had been tortured, abused, and forced to labor.
Every day, Xee Piuk gazed at the horizon of the planet where he was enslaved, longing for the day he could own his own farm and tend his own plants.
Years passed. When he had already reached old age, his shovel broke.
He began using his bare hands.
Every day, he worked.
For his people.
For his family.
For his very life.
This labor became his passion even in captivity, and he grew to love the soil and the tools.
At one point, because he had broken his shovel, they stopped feeding him and he began to starve.
At night, when no one was watching, his hand once more held a shovel.
This time it came paired with a hoe for his other hand.
Xee Piuk thought he was dreaming, but when he used them, he realized the world around him had changed.
Plants grew beautifully everywhere; the soil brimmed with nutrients and energy.
Through his eyes he could see the delicate lines separating the world he inhabited from what lay above.
He could read hearts and know what others truly thought of him.
His Intent solidified and he could grasp it; his mind freed itself from his old, withered, frail body.
Thus, Xee Piuk awakened as a member of the Heart Tribe.
With his shovel and hoe, he tore through countless foes, liberated his people, and carved out a new home in the Gray Void Firmament.
Yet time and again, someone came to harass him, and he had to drive them away.
Each enemy was stronger than the last, forcing him to push himself further.
At one point he nearly died; at another he truly did.
Still his Heart compelled him to rise. As he died over and over, his Heart grew vast and boundless.
Eventually it became so powerful that he could end entire universes and split dimensions apart with his shovel and hoe.
His Way of Life inspired countless others who, through relentless struggle, also awakened as Heart Tribe members.
However, he never expected that the beautiful fairy lady who had recently visited—a Heart Avatar bearing a pillar of light—would now fight to alter the fate of everything and everyone.
"You spent only a few weeks among us as a mere Heart Avatar. Everyone mistrusted you at first, but you earned our trust through your actions and your kindness…" He sighed, gazing far into the distance. "I may not be able to help you as much as your master has. You have surely surpassed me and everyone else, but… Kireina, do not hesitate. And never stop walking your path."
His voice echoed through infinity, reaching Kireina as she advanced to confront the Spider who had manipulated the Threads of Reality to toy with her.
The Dimensional Labyrinth had been an utter failure; she had been ordered to create something even grander and larger.
But that plan had failed as well.
The presences within the Empyrean Throne watched as Kireina reached them and their Spider.
"What's wrong?" she asked. Her long dark purple and red kimono rippled in the cosmic winds as she gripped her endless katana. "Are you afraid to fight your little sister? Why don't you come down here and settle this once and for all? Three against one. You will definitely have the advantage."
"Y-You…! Why are you here?!" The Spider hissed. Threads of reality wrapped around Kireina, halting her advance. "Please, do not mind her!"
"Hm. Well, if things have reached this point, destroy her, Spider."
"Do it."
"It's faster this way, right?"
"Nnngh…! Y-Yes!" The spider nodded, tightening the threads around Kireina. "I'll end this…! I'll end you!"
"I don't think you can end anything, little spider."
Kireina swung her Infinite Heavens Sword.
Or rather, her Infinite Heavenly Dimensional Domains Sword.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
The threads of reality—each composed of multiple dimensions—shattered and exploded one after another, freeing her in seconds.
"…?!"
The presences above the Empyrean Throne observed but did nothing.
The Spider was stunned, yet she could not retreat now.
Wasn't this what she had wanted? A rematch against Kireina to finally kill her?
"We go way back, don't we?" Kireina advanced toward the spider, sword in hand. "Back when we were just small monsters fighting for our lives. I wish things could have been different."
"There's not a single day I don't regret failing to slay you when I had the chance, you damned caterpillar!" the Spider roared. "The Grand Forest was in the palm of my hand… ah, but that no longer matters! Look how high I have risen! I don't need it! I don't need any of that! I am a Weaver of Reality!"
"Is that so?" Kireina asked. "To me, you're just an annoying insect."
"Spiders are arachnids, not insects!" the Spider Queen hissed, weaving countless threads.
Each thread formed its own dimension, constantly dragging Kireina into endless vistas and landscapes meant to obliterate her body, soul, and spirit.
Such attacks should have been impossible to evade. Kireina would likely have fallen and perished here if her Infinite Heavens Sword had not evolved.
And if she herself had not evolved.
"Fifth Form – Heaven-Defying Celestial Path!"
Paths appeared before Kireina—dozens, then hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions, quadrillions, quintillions, sextillions, and beyond.
An endless number of paths.
The reason was simple.
Kireina's Heart was evolving and expanding beyond all reason. Through these desperate battles that pushed her to her absolute limits, she had advanced even further.
Her Heart Path began merging with her other paths. Threads of pure Heart Essence extended into her Body, Soul, Mind, and Spirit.
The Heaven, Earth, Arcane, and Cosmic Paths all fused within her heart, blossoming beautifully as she continued to ascend with every passing second.
The more dimensions she severed from the spiderwebs, the stronger her Heart grew and the vaster her Authority of Defiance became, blooming magnificently.
From Celestial Vessel she transcended her former self, beginning to reach the Transcendent Nirvana Realm. Her body had to be discarded as she ascended into an entirely new existence.
Yet Kireina, drawing on her vast knowledge, devised a unique Cultivation Formula and imprinted it into her form. Instead of abandoning herself completely, she used the discarded vessel to fuel her Heart's growth even more.
FLUOSH!
"T-This is insane…!"
The Spider Queen recoiled in awe as Kireina began shattering the very Walls of Causality, warping reality itself. The Plane of Fate trembled; thousands of Heavenly Tribulations descended like universe-ending thunderbolts.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Kireina absorbed the heavenly energy, forging herself anew—more majestic, her existence rising ever higher.
She herself became a Dimension and, at the same time, its Ruler.
Her Cosmic Realm and Heavenly Domain merged and expanded. Stars, black holes, galaxies, nebulae, universes, and bubbles of universes began emerging one after another.
Within Kireina, an entirely new Dimension was being born—one that encompassed a complete Multiverse.
The Cosmic Cultivation she once knew demanded devouring and absorbing celestial objects and phenomena. The method she had mastered focused purely on creation and self-refinement.
Kireina was not consuming universes; she was birthing them within her own being.
Because of this, the entire Sun and Moon Heavenly Dimensional Domain quaked. Heavenly Dimensional Domains were the largest form of "Reality" within "Existence."
Existence comprised multiple Realities; the Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain was merely one among many.
And what composed a Heavenly Dimensional Domain? Roughly one hundred to one thousand Dimensions, each containing its own Multiverse.
Thus Kireina was elevating herself to a level just below such power—and still rising higher.
The more threads her sword severed, the greater her strength surged, as though each strike were a monumental achievement that Existence itself rewarded with prestige and expanded presence.
Kireina was surpassing Constellations and becoming something known as…
"An Immortal! She's ascending into a True Immortal!!!"
The Spider Queen—who had been elevated to the power of a Multidimensional Paragon—gasped in awe and disbelief. She stepped back, harnessing the power of Fate and Causality within the Plane of Fate to halt Kireina.
"S-STOP! DIE! DIE ALREADY!!!"
Countless threads lashed toward Kireina, but she kept slicing through them.
Yet more arrived, pouring in from every angle of reality until Kireina was…
Overwhelmed.
"I won't allow you to ascend any further! The Heaven and Earth Cultivation Paths are Immortal Arts passed down by a millenary member of the Empyrean Throne—one long vanquished. How did these techniques spread so widely out of nowhere?!"
The Empyrean Throne had destroyed an Ancient Great Being who created the Immortal Art of "Heaven & Earth Cultivation" and made it a Heavenly Law shared across Existence.
Realizing this would allow lowly beings to ascend, the other Empyrean Thrones swiftly eradicated every trace of tat Heavenly Law.
Countless Cultivation Worlds were obliterated, and the Great Being was vanquished.
Yet he never truly died. Great Beings exist within Existence itself, embodying their Heavenly Laws.
This Great Being slowly began manifesting within Kireina, who had harnessed his power and evolved the Heaven and Earth Cultivation Immortal Art to a new, transcendent level by blending it with her Heart Essence.
He—who had been vanquished and forced to serve as a pillar for countless small universes, a pitiful primordial—opened his eyes across innumerable realities.
His madness had stemmed from his fragmented self. Now, as everything converged through him and Kireina, he began to truly awaken.
Reality shuddered before Kireina. The Legacy of The One—or rather, the Grand Father of the Three Thousand Heavens, an Empyrean Throne—started to manifest.
"I see. So it was you all along. I knew there was something strange about your existence as fragments scattered across reality, The One," Kireina whispered with a smile.
"I never imagined that the daughter of Khaos would manage to free and reunite my fragmented wills across Reality. The condition I set was too absurd… I never thought anyone would actually succeed," The One sighed. "This madness born from my fractured ego spread through reality, and I mistreated others and caused countless tragedies because of it! I will take responsibility now. Wield my Heavenly Law, Kireina! Ascend into a True Immortal! Take my Empyrean Throne!"
"…Thank you, but I refuse," Kireina said, shocking the Three Great Ones watching from above, The One, and the Spider Queen. "I promised myself I would not take the easy path, and I will not accept your inheritance either."
"W-What?!" The One was utterly stunned.
"You've got kids down there who deserve an apology," Kireina said. "And I already took everything I needed from you, old man."
Kireina had already absorbed his Legacy and was now reshaping it beyond recognition.
"This is MY Immortal Art!" Kireina roared. "Immortal Blossoming Heart of Defiance: Pillar of Celestial Enlightenment!"
FLAAASH!
The Immortal Art Kireina created reached completion through her countless strikes and movements, tearing through the fabric of reality as she obliterated the dimensions crafted to bind her.
The Spider Queen's webs that held Kireina in place were slashed into countless fragments, and Kireina stepped forward until she stood close.
Her Aura surged. Kireina's form shifted as she was reborn as a True Immortal; her existence became a Heavenly Law, imprinting itself across Reality.
The reason everyone could feel her within their Hearts before was simple: Immortals exist within their Immortal Arts, becoming Heavenly Laws of Reality itself.
Thus, even if this Kireina fell now, she would rise again from the Legacy she had left behind.
"HAAAAAHH!"
She roared powerfully and swung her Infinite Heavens Sword.
The Spider Queen screamed. Two figures behind her squirmed inside cocoons of spider silk. She swung her giant scythes, clashing against Kireina in brutal close combat.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"Tsk! Damn it! Why are you awake out of nowhere?! Stay asleep!" she roared furiously, kicking the two figures back into a pocket dimension.
Kireina did not miss the move.
The One—present within her Aura—swiftly swung a massive hand. A gigantic white fan appeared; Dimensional Winds ripped through space and time, shattering the pocket dimension.
"Thank you for the assist!" Kireina said.
