Chapter 4027: Sigil?
Foliana and Tanxan have been stuck in the Peak Stage of the Space-Time Realm anyway, so staying with the twins while they cultivated made no sense. Foliana was especially so, since she liked to travel and learn more about history. And now, Foliana and Tanxan had those two cards from the Tombassin Sect, which they could already use to at least move to the central area of the Divine Realm.
"So, where are you going first?" Rean asked.
Tanxan and Foliana already had a plan in mind. "First, we will check the clues we obtained during the Future Realm. There is little hope of finding out Celestial Laws from these clues, but it is better than not checking them at all."
"There is also the fact that we have been stuck in the Peak Stage of the Space-Time Realm for a while," Tanxan added. "We don’t need to comprehend any more laws at the moment. We first need to find a spark that could lead us to the breakthrough into the Divinity Realm. We will gain a lot more experience moving around than sticking with you."
Roan nodded. "That is correct. It is not impossible to have your breakthroughs by staying in a single place, but it is not recommended. Use the experience of your previous breakthrough failures to learn more while out there."
Tanxan and Foliana knew that. "Well then, this is it for us. We won’t take any more of your time."
Rean would be lying if he said he wasn’t sad with their departure, but he also approved it. "Yes, get out there and grasp your own future. If anything happens, you can always contact us through the Werdlem Network."
"Hey, I can still go with you guys," Kentucky suddenly said... and Rean, Roan, and Celis glared at him. "Tch! Fine! I won’t. I can never have my way, can I?" He totally didn’t want to cultivate anymore.
Finally, Foliana opened a Spatial Gate, and she disappeared inside it together with Tanxan.
"Sigh..." Rean looked at the area where the gate disappeared. "At the end of the day, neither Tanxan nor Foliana were from our Lisan Universe, so I guess this moment would come regardless of whether we wanted it or not."
Roan shook his head. "Foliana makes sense, but Tanxan is also an outsider. He will have to find a way out sooner or later if he wants to return to his Universe. Whether we will be involved in it or not, that’s another story, though."
Celis didn’t want to waste time there anymore. "Can we go already? We need to enter seclusion and focus on our cultivation."
Roan agreed. "Yes, let’s go."
Yet, just as they were about to move...
*Pin!*
[Congratulations, hosts! Xyrath has been set free.]
[Reward: 3400 Celestial Points.]
"Hey! I was starting to get skeptical that the system wasn’t mentioning our success," Rean smiled after hearing that.
Sister Orb knew why the system took this long to report the success, though.
[It’s because Xyrath didn’t leave the Future Realm straight away. The system most likely set Xyrath’s exit from the Future Realm as its requirements for quest conclusion. Did you forget? He said he would wait a few years before doing so. Of course, a few years in the Future Realm was just a few days for us here. He must have just left the Future Realm after confirming no one entered it to check on him.]
"Makes sense." Rean and the others accepted Sister Orb’s words. "Anyway, let’s find some hidden corner to stay."
There was no lack of desolate places for them to choose. After having Sister Orb check, they decided to establish themselves in a swamp located in the Xrolita Continent, quite far away from Runia. As soon as they got there, they immediately went underground.
There, Rean prepared several formations to make sure no one could detect the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm entrances they left behind. Only then did they all come inside the Dimensional Realm.
"Alright!" Rean started. "Let’s get our system upgrades!"
Celis was the most excited. "Quick, quick! Buy them all!"
The twins touched the Control Orb, and the options immediately appeared in their minds.
[Specific Host Soul Energy Generator: 500 Celestial Points.]
"We need four of these, right?" The twins asked Sister Orb again, just to be sure.
[Yes!] Sister Orb confirmed. [With this, you won’t need to use your own soul power. It will be generated automatically. Of course, if you want to use your own Soul Power at the same time, it is not a problem at all.]
The twins nodded and willed it.
[Specific Host Soul Energy Generator x4]
[2000 Celestial Points.]
[Accept?]
"Yes!"
[Purchase confirmed.]
*Ugh...*
Immediately, Rean, Roan, Celis, and Kentucky felt like their souls were being ripped apart. No, it wasn’t just a feeling. Their souls were indeed being butchered right there and then! That was something even Rean’s Light Element couldn’t help with the pain. Without them noticing, they all fell unconscious.
As they lay there, their souls left their bodies, which was impressive. They were supposed to have the Peak Celestial Bodies, which means their souls were merged with their bodies. And yet, the two were clearly separated at the moment.
Well, they achieved Peak Celestial Bodies because of the System’s Cultivation Technique. It made sense that the system had the capability of separating the two again, even if just temporarily.
Once out, each of their souls was split into ten parts. A single part returned to the twins’ group’s bodies, while the other nine stayed out.
A total of 36 tiny souls positioned themselves like stars in the sky, several Soul Energy lines connecting each other as other symbols appeared. Those spots and lines seemed to form an image of a flame, surrounded by a circle with those weird symbols. Were those runes? They were unconscious, so there was no way they could tell.
However, Sister Orb definitely could. [Is that some kind of sigil...?] she wondered.
That sigil stayed in the air above the twins’ group for a few minutes, seemingly stabilizing itself. In the end, it separated into four identical sigils, and those sigils shot into the twins’ group’s bodies.
