Chapter 4026: Join Hands?
Different from the ’Device’ Rean created, there was nothing that prohibited someone from talking about the cards the twins’ group acquired. Yes, they ’bound’ them, but as Zonhime mentioned, there would be some still interested in those cards.
Soon, the information spread, and the Riquicious Empire couldn’t help but inquire Vuccu about it, who was getting ready to leave the next day. "Yes, I gave them the cards."
"Se-Senior Vuccu, isn’t there anyone from our Riquicious Empire you could also offer one of those cards?" A member of the imperial family asked, a guy called Ranjel.
Vuccu looked at him, snorting. "Hmph! Don’t get all greedy on me. Your Riquicious Empire already gets two of those cards in secret for taking care of the Future Realm. Two cards for each recruitment of the Tombassin Sect is way more than you deserve. Now, get out of my face."
Ranjel obviously didn’t like Vuccu’s words, but he wouldn’t say anything about it either. Vuccu alone could definitely make their Riquicious Empire disappear. Ranjel left the room, calling some of his subordinates and passing a few orders. "Get me those four who got the cards. Since we also have our own, it will be better if we get them on our side so we can join hands for the next recruitment."
"Understood!" Immediately, that group disappeared.
Ranjel wanted to convince the Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis to join the Riquicious Empire. He wasn’t lying when he said he would like to have them join hands with his Empire for the next recruitment.
However, there was another reason behind it. Since Vuccu went out of his way to give the twins’ group those four cards, it was evident that those four guys had unbelievably high potentials. The reports he got from the Future Realm only confirmed it. They cultivated at a speed no one expected. Simply put, it wasn’t a good idea to leave them with Qufis, in case they grow too strong and could cause trouble for Riquicious in the future.
However, when Ranjel Subordinates arrived at the Qufis Alliance Estate, they found out the twins’ group had already left with a bunch of other experts from Qufis. The workers who remained behind didn’t know where they went, but believed they returned to Qufis. Without another choice, Ranjel’s subordinates could only go and pay the Qufis Alliance a visit.
---
Well, Caio and the twins didn’t return to Qufis, of course. They met on the same hill where the swap happened a hundred years ago. Krue’Suan brought the five experts from Qufis, who benefited massively from their time with the Divine Military Academy’s experts in the Future Realm. All of them reached the Peak Stage of the Elemental Space Realm, with one of them managing to get to the Space-Time Initial Stage.
That was because they had high talents themselves, and also because of the Divine Energy Veins Rean dropped every once in a while.
Seeing the twins’ group, Ximao, who was also there, smiled. "Fani, seems like you guys hit the jackpot during this opening."
Fani, or better, Rean, laughed in response. "We all did indeed."
Ximao nodded, sending the Qufis youngsters back to Qufis while speaking. "Alright then. There are many things to do in Runia. Let’s go back."
"Well, about that..." Rean stopped him, though.
Truth be told, Ximao and Krue’Suan were well aware of what was going to happen here. This was all a play, a way of getting an excuse to completely disappear from the Universe. The Qufis’ experts would be witnesses. If those fake IDs didn’t exist, it would be as if ’Juvenal, Fani, and the others’ had never existed.
Ximao and Krue’Suan did their part, complaining of the twins’ group desertion. The twins, obviously, said they didn’t care now that they had the cards. Their ’relationship’ broke there and then before Rean opened a Spatial Gate, which his group used to leave. "Farewell, Senior Ximao. We are going to the Central Region of the Divine Realm."
The Spatial Gate closed, and Ximao cursed. "Bastards! After everything I did to keep them hidden and help them!"
Krue’Suan sighed. "There is nothing we can do. They are all in the Divinity Realm now. Could you stop them? Especially considering their strength?"
Ximao stopped for a moment, then shook his head. "Impossible. Each one of them is definitely stronger than I am now."
Following that, Ximao looked at Caio. "This isn’t a plot from your Qufis alliance to steal them from us, is it? If it is, they will sooner or later show their faces somewhere in your Qufis Alliance Territories."
"Hmph!" Qufis snorted. "So what if it was? Could a small continent like yours, which has no alliances, do anything about it?"
Ximao’s expression was terrible... or so it looked. On the inside, he was holding back from laughing. "Forget it. I don’t see why an Alliance like Qufis would try to hide them in the first place. I’m off."
And so, Ximao and Krue’Suan left with their own Spatial Gates.
Caio was left behind with the members of his Qufis Alliance. They were the last ones to leave. Still, he sighed. He was just putting on a strong facade. He knew very well that the twins’ group ’truly left’ for the Central Region. Why wouldn’t they? If Caio had that card, he would have done the same... "We are done here! Let’s go back!"
Several countries away, a Spatial Gate appeared, and from inside, Ximao and Krue’Suan exited. In front of them, Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis were already waiting for them. "How about it? I believe I was very convincing."
Rean and the others began to change. Their appearance transformed, and they returned to their original forms. At the same time, Rean got rid of all the CDs connected to those Qufis Alliance’s IDs. "That was great, Senior Ximao."
Krue’Suan couldn’t help but ask. "What about the cards? I’ll be honest, it will be better if you use it to go to the Central Area instead of staying here."
For Krue’Suan and Ximao, the best was to have the twins’ strength increase as fast as possible.
"We will think about it," but Rean didn’t give an answer straight away.
"So be it," Ximao didn’t insist, making a cutting motion with his hand and opening a Spatial Gate. "Let’s go back to the Runia Continent. I already gathered the countries’ leaders. All you need to do is follow the plan we agreed on."
A few days later, the news in the Runia Continent was that the twins’ group would leave the Divine Military Academy and the continent altogether. They made the deal with the countries of Runia. In the future, Runia could call upon them, as long as they were still in the same Universe. If what the continent needed didn’t go against the twins’ group’s ideologies, they would help to the best of their abilities.
That decision satisfied both the supporters of the twins’ group and those who wanted them gone but couldn’t overlook the resources already spent on them. The greatest fear was that Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis would join forces with their backers and take over the Runia Continent. After their display of strength, in time, that was definitely possible. Now, the countries were all back to their status quo... until someone decides to try their luck, that is. No one knows when that will be.
Finally, it came the time to bid farewell to Foliana and Tanxan.
