Death… And Me

Chapter 4009: Return

Chapter 4009: Return

After swapping the Time Plates for new ones, Rean’s group returned to Qufis Alliance and continued their cultivation.

Other than a few attempts to probe the Qufis Alliance’s strength, no one really attacked for real anymore. The twins’ group presence really made a huge difference.

Time passed, and over two thousand years had gone by since the opening of the Future Realm. It was exactly as Zonhime mentioned. Every one thousand years, some of the various powers would go out to try to eliminate any potential threat to their backgrounds.

However, after the outcome of the last attack a thousand years ago, Zadgjor and Plovel didn’t come back. That was to be expected. Both forces weren’t on good terms to start with, and after the enormous losses they got in the previous attack, Zadgjor blamed Plovel for it.

There were a few other powers that might have an interest in getting rid of Qufis, but because they found themselves much further away than those two, Qufis wasn’t really a priority. Besides, it wasn’t as if they themselves weren’t targets. If you decide to attack, you’d better be ready for things to not go well. If you flee, you might even be ambushed by other powers while at it.

In the end, Qufis Alliance only received one single attack that could be said to be threatening, from an Empire called Buffin. Too bad that it turned out quite badly for Buffin. The twins’ group, together with Zonhime and Roney, had the advantage of experts at the Divinity Realm level, even if the twins’ group hadn’t gotten there yet.

That allowed Celis and Foliana to be free on the battlefield to get rid of the Space-Time Realm experts and those below that level. Buffin wasn’t as desperate as Plovel and Zadgjor were, though. As soon as they noticed they wouldn’t gain anything and only lose a lot of their own top experts, they retreated with the Divinity Realm Experts holding the rear.

Zonhime, just like before, gave the order to stop any pursuit and go back into the Formations. Roan agreed with that decision, as there wasn’t really a need to risk anything. They were strong, but they still had a much lower number of experts on their side. If an ambush happened, just a few losses would already be enough to decrease their overall power by a significant amount, more than they were willing to afford.

The various battles inside the Future Realm continued around the year two thousand, and eventually, everything settled down again.

Somewhere between the year two thousand and three thousand, Tanxan reached the Peak Stage of the Space Time Realm. As for Foliana, she was getting close to the limit of the Space-Time Realm, and it wouldn’t be long before she started to attempt breaking into the Divinity Realm. They had a limitation, which was the need to comprehend laws, after all.

Rean, Roan, Celis, and Kentucky, however, had none of that problem. On the 2734th year after the opening of the Future Realm...

*Boom!*

Inside the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, four massive and devastating bursts of Sky Energy spread everywhere. Sister Orb quickly acted, suppressing those bursts and preventing them from causing any damage to the rest of the Dimensional Realm.

Divine Origin Energy, Soul Energy, and Starlight Energy merged together at ridiculously high speeds as the twins’ group’s cultivation crossed the barrier. Finally, things began to calm down, and their cultivation stabilized, now in the Initial Stage of the Divinity Realm.

From now on, only the absolute top Divinity Realm Experts from the center of A1 could hold on their own against any one of the twins’ group, maybe not even that.

Roan opened his eyes, looking at his hand and nodding in satisfaction. "We are finally back in the Divinity Realm."

Rean couldn’t help but smile. "Well, at least it was a lot faster than back in Lisan, that’s for sure. And that’s considering we were using Sky Energy now."

Celis didn’t give a damn. "Talk for yourselves. We are still not in the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm, so I’m going back to cultivate."

Kentucky shrugged. "That’s Celis for you."

[Well, there is nothing wrong as far as I can see. Your foundations are already sturdy since you have been here before. You can continue to cultivate without any repercussions. Of course, I still recommend everyone to take Roan’s Cultivation Estabilizing Pills, just in case.]

Roan waved his hand, and four pills appeared. He threw three to Rean, Kentucky, and Celis, grabbing one for himself. "Just swallow it and let’s get out."

Rean looked outside, finding it funny. "What will they think when they find out all four of us managed to get to the Divinity Realm at once?"

"I don’t care," Roan said, stretching a little. "We entered the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm fifty years ago, and we told them that we would try our breakthroughs inside. They should be expecting this already."

Those fifty years were actually unnecessary. They only entered the Dimensional Realm at that time simply because they didn’t want it to look way too ridiculous. Well, it would still look like that once all four of them show what happened.

Outside, no one noticed anything. They knew the twins’ group had entered their Dimensional Realm, and they could see the entrance of the Dimensional Realm with their Spatial Senses. Besides, Tanxan and Foliana were still outside, and they could contact the twins’ group if anything happened.

*Zush, zush, zush, zush!*

Finally, they appeared again, which caught the attention of everyone around.

Everyone was feeling pretty good during these years of cultivation. With the twins’ group, they truly didn’t need to worry anymore. Attacking their group wouldn’t bring anything good to anyone.

On top of that, two of their Elemental Space Realm Experts managed to enter the Space-Time Realm, which was a great boost to their forces. It’s just that those in the Peak Stage of the Space-Time Realm still haven’t managed to enter the Divinity Realm.

But then, when the Rean and the others appeared again, everyone froze in place. They weren’t trying to hide their cultivations at all.

"Divinity Realm!"

"All four of them!"

"Impossible!"

"That’s so not fair!"

"Fuck! I’ve been trying to reach the Divinity Realm from the moment I entered the Future Realm, and I still haven’t succeeded!"

Zonhime and Roney, the only other two Divinities in the Qufis Alliance, couldn’t help but feel shocked. Since when reaching the Divinity Realm was that easy?

Of course, for the Qufis Alliance, that was absolutely fantastic news! They now had six Divinity Realm Experts! Even better, Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis could already fight at the Divinity Realm Level before, so one can already imagine what they can do now.

Zonhime came forward, nodding in satisfaction. "Congratulations."

Rean smiled back at her. "We were lucky, that’s all."

No one really believed that, but it didn’t matter. "Is that so? Anyway, I’ll be counting on you."

"That’s the deal," Rean added. "We will help until the very end."

However...

"But before that..." Rean, Kentucky, and Foliana got ready to leave the formation. "Our resources have all been spent, so the three of us are going out to look for more. See you in a decade or two, Senior Zonhime!"

They didn’t give her time to say anything, and the three flew away.

Zonhime bitterly smiled, looking at Roan, Celis, and Tanxan. "You sure have your cultivation well planned, don’t you?"

Roan nodded slightly. "The Future Realm is an opportunity that can’t be missed. We prepared for many years before coming here. Don’t worry. The three of us will always stay inside the formation in case anything happens. Only Fani’s group will be exploring the outside for resources."

Fani, obviously, Rean’s alias.

"Yes, thank you." Without anything else to add, Zonhime left Roan’s group alone and returned to her cultivation. Of course, she also contacted the Qufis Alliance, passing on the information about the breakthroughs. ’Qufis better not play it wrong. We will definitely gain a lot if they decide to join us.’
