Death… And Me

Chapter 4107: It Must be Him

Chapter 4107: It Must be Him

"Alright, so going to BH1 now doesn’t seem like a good idea, unless we want to force our way through," Rean commented.

Kentucky didn’t see the big problem. "So what? Unless that Emperor appears, can someone really stop us from forcing our way in?"

"It’s not that," Hick shook his head.

He then told the twins’ group that BH1 wasn’t protected by experts only. Above all, there were Legendary Level Formations all around it, something that even the Emperor would have a hard time getting past, made in layers. Considering the Emperor’s cultivation is higher than theirs, one can imagine the problems of getting through it.

We can’t forget that the twins’ group did lose one of their biggest advantages after thi breakthrough, their Peak Celestial Body. It’s not that they didn’t have it anymore, but that any other Peak Stage Celestial had the same thing.

Also, the system’s abilities were out of the question at the moment. The System used every single Celestial Point available, all 35084. They couldn’t use the Fusion ability or the Unbalance Domain that reduces a Stage of the cultivation level of their opponents.

The Dimensional Inversion Gate and the Yin Yang Reversal Seal were the same, as one costs 1000 Celestial Points and the other 700 points.

Sure, they have other advantages, like their new Celestial Sky Energy, their Red Lightning that they can fuse with their elements, Kentucky’s Celestial Transformation, and the twins’ Seventh Stage Weapon Intent, but would that be enough?

They definitely weren’t the only ones out there with their own hidden cards. Whoever manages to get to the Celestial Realm is bound to have their own secret tricks; even before that level, it was already a fact. Kentucky was almost defeated back in Zentian because of one of those hidden cards, and his opponent was just an Initial Stage Celestial.

"So you see?" Hick finished. "If we truly go there and get caught, I hardly doubt we can make our way out or get close to BH1. Not everyone has that Blood Reformation skill of yours, you know? First of all, would you be willing to rely on that?"

"No," Roan shook his head. The Blood Reformation was literally a life-saving ability with a 34-year cooldown. And while their bodies were growing again, they were very weak. Roan would rather never have to rely on that skill again.

Dofrei couldn’t help but get annoyed. "So you are asking me to wait and hide? I don’t hide! I smash my way through!"

"Stop it!" Hick cut in. "There is no smash in that situation. That would be nothing but suicide. Besides, who said you would be hiding? You can just keep living here until the day we can go there arrives. Everyone knows you are here, so you aren’t hiding from anything."

Dofrei wasn’t very convinced by Hick’s words, but he had to admit the chances were not on his side. But then, he thought of something and pointed at his disciples. "It is one thing for the Werdlem Empire to deal with just the six of us, but what about 547?"

The total number of disciples in the Celestial Realm that Dofrei had was 540. Not all of them were here, though. Here you could find 526, who were Peak Divinities a moment ago. The other 14 were already Celestial Realm Experts who lived in that abyss or were out at the moment. Nonetheless, they all answered to Dofrei, and he could get them all together in a day or two.

"The Werdlem Empire is in for a huge surprise when they see my Celestial Realm Legion! Hahaha!" Dofrei felt better the more he thought of it. Won’t that make him the best master ever? Of course, he knows the twins’ system was what really helped his disciples achieve that breakthrough, but it was also true that Dofrei was the one who taught them all the way to the Peak Stage of Divinity.

Roan wasn’t as convinced. "That wouldn’t be a good idea."

Rean agreed with him. "They really just had their breakthroughs and connected to the Celestial Laws. I’ll be honest, we can very well expect some of those Peak Stage Balance Breakers guarding BH1. If you send these guys there right now, they will fall like flies. Having big numbers is good, but when faced against absolute strength, I can’t see us gaining much of an advantage."

Hick patted Dofrei’s shoulder. "Are you really okay with it? To lead your disciples into certain death just so you can have a word with master? And chances of success would be very low still."

Dofrei went silent, sighing in the end. "Forget it. I get excited too easily."

Rean smiled in response. Obviously, Dofrei cared a lot about his disciples. "I’m not saying your idea is bad. What I’m saying is that they still haven’t learned anything about what it means to be a Celestial Realm Expert. Well, neither have Roan, Kentucky, Celis, and I. Anyway, they have only managed to connect to their Celestial Laws, and comprehending them will take a while. However, if we give them time, they sure will become a force to be reckoned with."

Roan thought for a moment. "That will depend on how fast they can learn. We are probably talking about thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds, maybe millions of years here."

Rean noticed he didn’t make himself clear. "What I meant is that they must at least be able to use their Celestial Laws to some extent, not fully comprehend them. That alone would at least double their strength. If we fought now, their Celestial Laws would be just for show, the same as not using them at all."

Dofrei understood. "So that’s how it is. If the barrier is to have them at least be able to use them properly, then we are talking about a relatively short time. No more than a few decades or at most hundreds of years."

Hick didn’t see a problem with that. "The first wave of comprehension is always easier, after all. It gets harder the deeper you go. Very well, that could be used. What do you plan to do with them anyway?"

Rean shrugged. "That I don’t know. Those are Senior Dofrei’s disciples, not mine. I can’t possibly give them any orders, nor do I have any idea where to start if I could. I’m just saying, don’t send them out to BH1 in the way they are now."

"Don’t worry, I won’t," Dofrei assured.

Then, Celis had a question. "If we are going to use them at some point, then we will need time for them to get a grasp of their powers. Since that’s the case, wouldn’t it be better to look for other primordial beasts while we wait?"

They didn’t mind it... But where would they start? They don’t know where the others are, and they can’t leave the Werdlem Universe without going to the Starway.

"We need to get Soltrex," Hick suddenly spoke. "If anyone has the knowledge of the other beasts, it must be him."
