Death… And Me

Chapter 4217: Their Home!

Chapter 4217: Their Home!

Coddin didn’t think twice. "Whoever wants to stay, be my guest. Since we aren’t necessary here, I’m going out. Farewell." He quickly opened a Spatial Gate and left.

The other experts also knew everything they wanted to know, and no one needed to stick around. Sure, there were a few of them who were curious about this gift Victor mentioned. But at the end of the day, it wasn’t something for themselves. It was for the twins’ group.

Everyone began to leave one after another, leaving just the twins’ group and a few experts behind.

"Dad, dad," Rean looked at Romario and Turen. Romario, obviously, his father from the time he lived on Earth, and Turen, his father from after reincarnation. "You two should go out as well, you know? I’ll take care of Lisan and everyone who stayed behind."

Turen thought for a moment. "It is kinda hard to think about leaving Lisan, even if it’s now as easy as going to the Great Void Space-Station we built just outside Lisan. Your mother passed away a long time ago, but I still think like I would be leaving her behind if I go out."

Rean’s mother, from after the reincarnation, also passed away already. She, too, preferred not to have her soul branded, and she was satisfied with everything she lived. So, she was gone for good now.

Rean pondered a bit. "I can’t help but think mother would likely give you a beating if she heard that."

"Hahaha!" Turen nodded vigorously. "Yes, she totally would!"

Rean smiled. "I tell you what, why don’t you bring Rana with you? She is still far from the Peak Stage Divinity, but that doesn’t mean she can’t look for her own rogue Celestial Laws ahead of time."

Rana, obviously, was Rean and Roan’s Sister, who ended up becoming a fairy after Sunkan’s explosion. She did manage to get to the Space-Time Realm in the end, and she was in the Initial Stage of that Realm. It’s just that fairies cultivate with Karma, not Divine Energy, so their cultivation is a lot slower. On the other hand, they do have much, much longer lifespans in the realms below Space-Time.

"Rana, uh?" Turen thought about the idea. "Doesn’t sound too bad. I’ll talk to her and see what she decides."

Romario was the one to talk to Rean after that. "As for me, I intend to go back to Lingam Universe. I’ll bring Tamirez with me."

Tamirez was also Rean’s Sister, well, half-sister, from when he visited Earth. He found her in the underground facility on Earth, the same one where the robot core was stolen.

"So you are going back home... but is that okay? You were the ultimate reason for Lingan to fail when they tried to rob our Lisan Universe from its Chaos Origin Source," Rean asked, concerned.

Romario wasn’t worried, though. "It is fine now. Did you forget? Garisan conquered Lingan while I lived here in Lisan. There might be some people there who still remember me, but there aren’t many, and none of that matters now that Lingan is also a vassal Universe of the Garisan Empire. We are basically going back home, you could say."

Rean could only trust him. "If you say so... Let me know if something goes wrong. Our communication system has been connected to the Garisan Empire network. You can contact me through there."

"Very well," Romario accepted that.

On the other side, Roan spoke with Kafan about similar things. "So, master, do you already have any idea where you are going to look for your rogue Celestial Laws?"

Kafan took out his CD and showed it to Roan. "Right here."

Kafan was showing Roan an Universe called Glinkfi. It was not a Universe under the Garisan Empire’s command, though. It was much further away, and even using the best Great Void Spaceships they could provide, it would still take Kafan a little bit over half a millennium just to get there. Naturally, another half a millennium was necessary to come back.

"How did you get permission to go there?" Roan asked, curious.

Kafan smiled in response. "Garisan Empire is a big power, but not the only one, you know? Also, it is not like it is at war against everyone or any shit like that. If you pay the right price, you can get something similar to a visa to visit and stay for a set amount of time in other Universes with which Garisan has relations. From the results of my research, Glinkfi is the best shot for me to try to find my rogue laws."

Roan had to get used to the world outside the Werldme Empire. Everything in the Werdlem Empire was extremely strict, but that didn’t mean it was the case for all the other powers outside. In fact, things were a lot more lax outside. The Empires and such had to be more open-minded to prevent starting meaningless wars against each other for no reason.

"So that’s how it is..." Roan understood. "I have plenty of high-ranking Divine Stones. Do you need some, master?"

"No," Kafan refused. "I’m confident in my ability to earn the resources I need. It wouldn’t look good for a master to be sustained by his disciple anyway. It is already quite shameful to see that you surpassed me, although that also makes me proud."

Those and other conversations followed with the experts, mostly those who knew the twins’ group personally. Eventually, everyone left, leaving only Rean, Roan, Kentucky, Celis, and Soul Gem.

"Does that mean my lazy time can finally start?" Kentucky asked.

"Can’t you think of any other way to improve yourself?" Roan countered. "Sigh... Whatever. Rest is also important, so consider our time protecting Lisan as your resting time."

"Yay!" Kentucky was obviously happy to hear that.

"But before that," Soul Gem intervened. "There is another issue we should deal with, don’t you think?"

The twins’ group nodded.

Temporal Path, the place connecting the Mortal Realm, the Realm of Gods, and the Heavens. Inside this Temporal Path, there was a gap leading into a closed Dimensional Realm...

That Dimensional Realm... was also known as the Vruve Organization’s Home!
