Chapter 4228: The Threat To Kentucky’s Life

Kentucky had been having the time of his life, spending days and sometimes weeks just sleeping. He quickly got the respect of the other Minokawas, who approved of his laziness more than his cultivation prowess.

During his sleep, he burped as he digested a lot of rare metals in his stomach. The satisfied expression on his face was obvious for everyone to see. Little did he notice the arrival of three visitors, all of them looking at him. Who else could they be if not Rean, Roan, and Celis?

"uhgum... just another two days, Luro-tu," he answered, not even bothering to open his eyes.

"Wake up already!" Celis was not willing to wait anymore, though. When Rean contacted him and talked about their intention to move up, Celis finally saw some meaning in his life again.

Kentucky opened his eyes slightly, seeing Rean, Roan, and Celis there. "Oh... It’s you guys. Take the nest on the left. It is pretty cozy, even for humans and plants. Now, don’t bother me anymore. I still need some extra beauty sleep. This luster in my feather requires a lot of rest, and I can’t disappoint my fans."
